All reviews for Lumen Electrical Systems

Lumen helped upgrade our residential lighting. They did a spectacular job - great communication, timely, flawless installation, and tidy. Would highly recommend for commercial and residential electrical work.

Joe and his team did all the electrical in our addition as well as a service upgrade from 100 amps to 200 amps. All of his employees were great to work with. We had numerous subcontractors at our house during the addition process. Joe and his team were BY FAR the best of all of them. They made sure to introduce themselves on arrival, kept us informed during the day on progress and cleaned up when they were done. We found that these 'little things' were not the norm with most other subcontractors we dealt with on this project. We highly recommend using Lumen Electrical Systems and we will be using them again when the need arises.

Great experience working with Lumen Electric. Joe Slowly, owner, always answers emails, texts, phone calls in a timely manner. The crews arrive on time and are very professional, polite, explain when necessary, and clean up. Additionally all work is top-grade. Not sure about the cost as I have not had a significant amount of electric work to base an opinion.

We recently moved into a home built in 2004. The lighting wasn’t stellar & the ceilings were super high. Our neighbor said they had an electrician that they liked & they gave us Joe Slowey’s contact info. We contacted Joe & had his team from Lumen Electrical Systems come out & replace all the old hi-hats in the house with LED’s & also add several Lutron Caseta switches to automate some of the lights.
A few weeks later we realized our sunroom had no power. We called Lumen Electrical & a team came back out & figured out the problem & came up with 2 very reasonable & cost effective solutions.
We liked the company’s work enough to have them come back again to install a chandelier & add a few lights switches & an outlet.
Joe Slowey & the entire Lumen Electrical Systems team have been a pleasure to work with. He’s easy to reach, responds quickly & also has done a great job of getting us scheduled & his bids & prices have been very reasonable.
Each time we’ve had a Lumen Electrical Systems crew come to do work, the crew has been on time, professional & they took very good care of our home while having to navigate around furniture to reach super scary (for me) heights, & cleaned up very nicely too.
They’ve also been super kind & conscientious about making sure our very lively & annoying 4month old puppy doesn’t get out.
So glad my neighbor gave me the number for Joe Slowey & Lumen Electrical Systems. It doesn’t cost as much as you’d think to replace your old can lighting with cost effective LED’s. We’ve had several excellent experiences with Lumen Electrical. It’s amazing what better lighting can do, our home looked so much better immediately.

Thank you so much!

Excellent service and always on time.

Cameron and Cameron were excellent. Did great job.

Jesse did the rough work for my basement renovation. He was polite, accommodating, and very efficient.

Josh and Jake are skilled with excellent interpersonal skills. Will gladly work with them again.

Everything was so easy to schedule and have done definitely keeping your contact for any future work!!

Joe Slowey is very knowledgable. It is a comfort that the work he and his team do is always perfect.

A+ installation. Very happy with the extra steps taken by the team to improve aesthetics, went beyond my expectations. 100% would recommend to friends and family.

An amazing experience!! Joe arrived the same day we called and installed 4 lights in a what seemed like an instant. He was kind and friendly. The price was perfect, and he cleaned the whole area when done. I would highly recommend him. Thank you Joe

Professional, responsive, and priced fairly. If you’re looking for trustworthy contractor that is honest, professional, and takes a vested interest in your project, Lumen is who you want.

Joe was personable, efficient and knowledgeable about the installation of a smart hub for lighting control. He replaced an older model timer for lighting my front porch with a wifi based system which can handle multiples, including outdoor landscape lighting.

We had lights installed for our entire home. The majority were from Hubbardton Forge and somewhat unusual. Lumen Electric System did a great job and used great care in installing the lights. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Joe was incredibly kind, responsive and efficient in sending Cam out to fix my dryer outlet… in record time too! Cam was professional, thorough and very pleasant. Such a big impact those three things have during a stressful job for the home owner. Big thank you to both Joe and Cam for helping me out in a bind! Be well :)
