They were amazing. The person who came out in response to our request was a certified arborist. He identified what work was needed but also remained sensitive to our wish to keep (and even reinforce, per our request) a particular branch for bird watching. The crew was professional and did outstanding work. I will be using only them in the future. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Rafael gave a fair estimate compared to another company and was very knowledgeable and helpful. Also a great guy.
The “ tree guys” were exceptional in the quality of the work. They did all that was in the job efficiently and effectively with good judgement and attention to the cosmetics of the end result which turned out perfect.

This is the 2nd time that I have used SavATree in the past 8 years. They have certified arborists, not just some guy who wants to cut down your trees and change a lot. Rafael Acevedo discussed everything I wanted pruned, trimmed, cut down. The leaves were off the trees when the crew arrived about a week ago. They were also very knowledgeable about each species and did a fantastic job including cleanup. My property now has more sunlight and looks great. I highly recommend Savatree.

Only issue is that they had to reschedule their appointments with me three different times. Things happen, so I can understand that. But the frustrating part is that on two of the occasions they didn’t even let me know that they wouldn’t be able to make it out (even after I specifically asked them to give me a heads up if they wouldn’t be able to come).

But the good news is that they finally came after the fourth time they scheduled the appointment, and they did great work.

Typically it doesn’t matter for most people whether or not you’re home when they come by to do lawn treatments. But it mattered to me because I had to give my tenants a heads up to keep their dog off the lawn (and I told SavATree that this mattered to me and they still didn’t reach out when they ghosted me the third time). So having to reschedule so many times without so much as a heads up became irritating.

All that said, I will continue to work with them because they do great work.

Save a Tree is a great business to deal with. We used them based on recommendations from family and neighbors. The admin people are responsive, the arborist who survey our trees and provided the quote is polite and responsive. The arborists were punctual on the day of the work. They successfully maneuvered around snowbanks and tight city street parking on a frigid February day. They left our yard and driveway clean. We are pleased with their work and will definitely recommend Save A Tree to others.

Had about 10 tree stumps of various sizes grinded and removed and they were super amazing to work with from start to finish. Great experience all around, could not recommend highly enough. Incredible work, super happy with the result. They removed the debris, brought in fresh loan and seeded and cleaned up really well. All around great experience from start to finish. Cannot recommend enough, thank you for the superb job at our house!

I’ve been using SavATree to care for the trees in my yard for several years, and this is the first time I felt genuinely compelled to write a review — all because of Jeff.
He performed the DeerTech Winter Protection service at my home and impressed me deeply with his professionalism and dedication. Jeff walked back and forth between the front and back yards multiple times, making sure every single tree was fully and evenly treated before he left.
His thoroughness, responsibility, and attention to detail truly moved me.

I signed a $3,500 annual contract with SavATree in Lincoln to keep my lawn healthy and rich. They did the exact opposite. My lawn turned into a sand pit filled with weeds.

Their treatment cards said the lawn was “great,” but it was obvious there were major issues. When I reached out, I was told there was a fungus and that fixing it would cost extra, even though I was already paying thousands for a full-service lawn treatment program.

The situation got so bad that I had to hire another landscaper to reseed and fertilize just to undo the damage. SavATree then came and applied more fertilizer on top of that, completely over-treating the lawn. When I asked why they would knowingly do that, I was told they simply followed the original plan for the year, even if it was harmful for the lawn.

The entire purpose was to hire someone that would help me take better care of my lawn. They did not come close to doing that, they made my lawn worse, cost me even more money to fix it. Stay away if you need lawn care.
