Excellent job. Very professional.

Couldn't be more pleased! Henry & his guys were here early in the morning & worked all day to repair a section of our crumbling garage floor as well as replacing a very dated & warped drainage system. The finished product was amazing. They cleaned up the area and even coiled our water hose back up. Would definitely call them first for any other projects.

Had a lally column replaced. Henry was great at keeping me informed through the whole process and the team did an excellent job with the work and quality.

We are very pleased with the patio installed by Goodwood General Construction. Henry was a straight shooter from the start and completed the job in line with the estimated cost & time frame. His crew worked tirelessly throughout the 3 days of installation. They left the job site very clean and even planted grass around the patio which I wasn't expecting. After a tough winter with freeze & thaw cycles the patio held firm. I would highly recommend.

We needed a large section of retaining wall repaired and reached out to Henry at Goodwood General Construction. He provided a free and fair written quote which we accepted. He clearly communicated what work they would do and how they would do it. He and his team completed the work quickly and with a quality that was beyond our expectations, which were already high, having read many other very positive reviews. It was a great experience and we would absolutely recommend them.

My wife and I recently purchased a home. The driveway and a retaining wall that runs along side it were going to have to be demoed, removed and replaced entirely. The old driveway consisted of a partially paved upper section that was in complete disrepair. The foot of the driveway where the most damage had occured was scattered 3/4 in stone. It was a total safety hazard. The poorly engineered retaining wall was not only insufficient but an eye sore as well. After receiving several estimates and meeting Henry we decided to go with Goodwood. Henry was easy to talk to, very accessible and willing to answer any questions or address any concerns we had. He said in our first conversation that they would begin work as soon as the weather permitted. Sometime in early April. Well it's April 10th and the entire project is complete. The old driveway and retaining wall are gone and the new driveway is level and paved beautifully. The new retaining wall is solid and it looks amazing. We are so happy with the results. Henry's crew works hard and they never seems to rest. They put in 2 full 10 hour days and were professional and polite. We plan on repairing 2 additional retaining walls on the property in the near future and will absolutely call Henry and his crew to do the work. I would definitely recommend Goodwood construction.

I can only speak honestly of my own experience, working with The team at Goodwood,, G.C. Henry, the owner of the company Is extremely experienced in, very talented when it comes to his craft. Working with Henry, and his crew was a pleasure for me! I found him and his crew very approachable, unlike many, many contractors that I haven’t counted in the past. I like many of his competitors – he does care very much about the quality and craftsmanship of his work, and does not approach your project apathetically. I know from research he’s been working in the industry for 20 years – that gives him the breath of experience to help A customer who may not be quite certain on how to approach projects from an ecstatic perspective. They have that knowledge, and are very accommodating when it comes to sharing questions that One may have in different projects.

Goodwood, installed a driveway for me and did such a professional job, that some of my neighbors were so impressed decided to have their driveways done as well. And that speaks to I believe his very competitive prices. More over, we had a brick patio installed in the front of my house as well . The craftsmanship was amazing.. So as I mentioned, he is very competitive pricing wise. Extremely articulate on understanding what your needs are and what your vision is depending on your project. And he takes the stress out of dealing with obtuse contractors. In my humble opinion, as I said , One would be best served to at least give them a call and give them an opportunity to show you what’s possible.

Henry and his team exceeded our expectations with the construction of our new patio and stairs. Their professionalism was evident throughout the entire project, as they consistently maintained a clean and organized work site. It was an excellent experience working with Henry and Goodwood General Construction because of clear communication and delivery on expectations. We had our driveway in Stoneham expanded to a doublewide in October 2023, and I am remiss for not writing a review sooner, but now I can comment that the driveway has sailed through its first winter without notice.

I found Goodwood by searching online and it was easy to call Henry and then set up a time to visit for a quote over text. We selected his quote for the job amongst competing offers because it was very competitive and it met or exceeding the recommendations for base and pavement thickness. Furthermore, Henry, the owner of the company, would be on site for the entirety of the job and has been in the business for over 20 years.

Henry scheduled the work a few weeks out and took care of contacting Dig Safe before starting the job. He showed up with a digger and 2 assistants on Monday morning and they finished the project on Thursday. They tore up 2 old retaining walls and surrounding shrubbery, created new allan block retaining walls, laid the base and then paved the driveway with impressive grading. The pavement seems level and the slope is hard to notice without looking across the retaining walls, but it is also along two axis because the rain now drains diagonally out the driveway into the street. Lastly, Henry's team filled in the missing dirt from the shrubs and laid seeds that grew well in the fall - our other quotes specifically noted that I would be responsible for any landscaping that might be needed after the job. I look forward to hire Henry and Goodwood General Construction for our next home project.

Henry constructed a 12' x 16' concrete patio in my back yard just as I requested. The construction and quality was outstanding. He left the job site neat and surrounding grade better than I had expected. His quote was reasonable and he completed the job on time as per my request.

Henry and his team were excellent to work. They solved a problem we had with flooding in our back yard by installing channel drains and dry well. They knew what they were doing, finished the job in a timely manner and did a great job restoring the yard afterwards. Henry was always available for questions and was even willing to stop by after the job was completed to show us how to maintain the channel drains. Goodwood Construction is a great company to work with and I highly recommend them.

Henry answered every call, responded to every text, and came by 3 different times to answer questions even before he was hired. The crew showed up when promised and promptly at 7:30am every morning. They replaced old cement stairs and removed and old driveway and replaced it with new beautiful stairs, paver walkway, paver aprons and border and new asphalt driveway. Highly recommend this company and have already asked them back to do more work.

I recently hired Goodwood General Construction to install a new concrete slab in my backyard, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They took the time to explain the process, answered all my questions, and kept everything clean and organized throughout the project.
