I had SavATree trim some very large branches from a big oak and clean up two apple trees. They did a great job and were very meticulous about clean up. The whole crew was pleasant and genuinely seemed to be enjoying work regardless of the rainy day.

The head of the crew Ben was the main contact, he was responsive to email and phone call and very kind. He went through and explained both before and after. He was knowledgeable about how to properly trim a tree so it remained healthy which is what I wanted.

Definitely recommend them and will be using them again in the future.

As a residential architect for over 40 years, I've dealt with tree services on many occasions primarily in the clearing of sites for construction. Many of those companies are very competent, but their focus is generally on taking trees down and getting them out of the way. When it came to dealing with some existing trees on my own property, I went looking for people who were more focused on keeping trees alive and healthy, and I was very pleased to encounter SavATree.
They have done two jobs for me in the last couple of years, first trimming and cabling a two-trunk cedar that was threatening the house and later pruning and evaluating a venerable sugar maple that overhangs the back yard and our barn. In both cases, I was impressed with the professionalism of everyone who showed up, with their concern for the health of the trees, and for their willingness to listen to our ideas before firing up the chain saws. I would not hesitate to call them again or to recommend them to friends or clients.
Just recently we had a tree blown down in a storm. SavATree was able to get a crew in on fairly short notice. The two-man team was extremely careful and they still had the whole job done in a couple of hours. Very well done!

Excellent service. They trimmed and thinned an old tree, hung some lights in the branches, and even did me a favor by putting my long-dead Christmas tree in their chipper which saved me a trip to the dump. I love that they climbed instead of using a bucket truck, since a truck is hard on the lawn.

SaveATree did an excellent job for us. First, Laura visited and walked the property to assess the trees surrounding our home. She provided really great insights and suggestions for how and when to address issues with any of our trees. She recommended installing static cables in a couple of our twin-stem red oak trees to support the branches, instead of removing the tree.

The tree work was scheduled promptly. Collin and Ivan worked quickly to install the cables. Before moving forward with the 2nd cable, they conferred with Laura about a couple of holes/cavities in one of the trees and the viability of the tree surviving longer term. Laura notified me and let me know that the tree may eventually need to come down, but that it may be good to wait since they discovered a wood duck nest in one of the cavities. We proceeded with the cabling and will keep an eye on the tree later in the year after nesting season.

We appreciate the thoughtful recommendations from Laura, Collin and Ivan. Looking forward to working with them again.

Laura and the team have been great to work with. I recently had the yard assessed, and decided to move forward with various work including pruning, cabling, and removing trees. The crew was polite, efficient, and did exactly what was expected.

Having had experiences with large company alternatives for many years, SavATree is the best, in my opinion, from our results.

They hire and develop smart people who know their field, listen, and "actually" care about clients and their results. This contrasts with the "transactional" nature of the larger companies where the person servicing you is not truly knowledgable about what they are doing.

Every few years with SavATree, when someone who I was so impressed with got promoted, the next person through was equally as impressive. So they do great work and have a continuity of service.

I wish other businesses would follow their simple formula of being good at what they do, finding and developing great talent that listens to clients and deliver results.

I do not write reviews much at all, SavATree is the very best.

SavATree came out for a tree assessment for a couple large trees in my backyard that are developing some issues. They were quick to respond and sent someone out fast to take a look as one of the trees is developing a crack. Benjamin D., the arborist who responded to our home seemed very knowledgeable and recommended the best course of action in our situation. He was also courteous and answered any questions we had. Highly recommended!

He’s made a number of excellent suggestions and he’s payed close attention to my requests. His team has been informative and impressive to watch. Ben from SavATree was the best! He masterly pruned my peach tree and explained why he did each cut. All while balancing on my old ladder. I look forward to a bountiful harvest of peaches this year finally. Thank you Ben!

SavATree has been treating my Hemlock tree for years and it's never looked better! Also my sister has them maintaining her lawn and that too has never looked better. We were admiring it the other day, it looks so healthy after the harsh winter snow. They know what they're doing and really are knowledgeable about plants and trees. Don't just trust any tree service, they're not all arborists and will just take your money to cut it down, they won't try to save it.
SavATree knew just what to do to save my Hemlock and make it healthy and thrive.

It is rare that a company shows up when they say they will to provide an estimate. Ben, from SavATree did so, and was polite, friendly, professional, and in no hurry to move on to the next estimate. I then had the proposal within minutes, which was clear and concise. An added bonus, Ben did not try and push their other services on me. With that said, in retrospect, I will consider their offerings aside pruning and tree work.

They have an online portal, which simplifies doing business with them. Very well done.

The field crew showed up when Ben said they would. They too were polite, clean, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, etc. The entire experience, from start to finish, was first rate. And along the way, I had two or three questions that were answered in minutes, not hours, days, or weeks.

SavATree did an excellent job removing several dead trees, pruning a couple and strengthening our large sugar maple. The crew was professional, pleasant and left the yard cleaner than when they arrived. We were very pleased.

I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received from SavaTree. John Duffy, a licensed arborist, examined the trees and shrubs on our property and made a number of understandable recommendations. He followed up with a reasonable proposal that I accepted. He showed up with his crew to review the plan and be sure it was clear. The crew did an excellent job, particularly in pruning and shaping two hinoki cypresses. The crew made sure I was pleased with their work before leaving and left our yard spotless. They get my highest recommendation.

He then sent three outstanding professionals— Colin, Will, and Dylan — and they worked tirelessly to bring our overgrown property back to order. Great company with very knowledgeable arborists who love plants! Wonderful to do business with. I had used our general landscaping business prior for tree and bush trimming and this is 3 heads above in skill. Would highly recommend to anyone who cares about their outdoor plantings!

SavATree is my go to for quality tree service. The staff are knowledgeable professionals who really care about their work. Most recently they removed a small problem tree and carefully pruned a white pine. The work was very well done, and the site was well cleaned up before the team left. I highly recommend Ben and his team if you are looking for quality work at a fair price.

SavATree removed 2 dead trees in the back of our property for us yesterday and trimmed some others. John Duffy was excellent at coordinating the team that came to do the work. He brought the lead man over a couple of weeks ago to discuss how best to approach the job at hand. My husband and I had concerns regarding potential damage to our lawn as the equipment required would need to travel over a large portion of it and the ground was waterlogged. Great care was taken to prevent any damage to our lawn. In fact, we wouldn’t even have known that the job had been done had we not seen it for ourselves. Kudos to all involved. I highly recommend SavATree.

I have been a customer of Sav A Tree for over 15 years. I originally had them as a vendor in my professional life taking care of hemlocks. I then hired them for my home where they originally saved my hemlocks and now take care of my crab apple and cherry trees. These all continue to thrive because of the fine work Sav A Tree does. Particularly Ben Duggle who is an ultimate professional as well as a very good arborist. They just did a winter trimming of my apple tree and the crew did a wonderful job. Trimming, set up, and clean up was done professionally with no disruption to us or neighbors. I would not hesitate to hire them for both arborist services and tree work.
