Had a very good experience! They were a pleasure to do business with. They completed the job in a timely manner and they were very neat and did not leave a mess. They had no problem taking care of any concerns i had and are very knowledgeable. Plus they quoted me better price than the other contractors in the area. I would recommend them for any HVAC work or hot water system.

They installed two heat pumps. The work they did was very clean and professional. They made sure everything worked well and explained the working of the thermostat. Excellent workmanship and very professional!

My HVAC tech had to call them about an issue with a system they installed in my house five years ago. Kermit was extremely gracious, and helpful to the tech. I was really impressed by his knowledge of the system, and his willingness to assist in trying to diagnose the problem.

Schulz & Sons is outstanding. Our experience with Schulz & Sons is first rate. I am the House Chair of a congregation. My goal was to revamp our antiquated heating system in a 100 year old building with an energy efficient, multi-zoned system that we could (1) afford, (2) would pay for itself in four years or less, and (3) save us funds over the long run. Several contractors walked away from the project. Others said my goals were too ambitious given the existing constraints imposed by our older building. Chip Schulz worked with me and we achieved all three goals.

Efficient and thorough are the two words I'd use to describe the work of KBS. From initial estimate to completed installation of two upstairs split system heat pumps (took only one day), the work was done neatly.

KBS installed a new central AC system in our house in August 2015. We chose a unit for the 1st floor with duct work and blower in the basement, and a unit for the 2nd floor with duct work and blower in the attic. The whole KBS team was wonderful - the sales staff, duct work installers, and outside equipment installers. All nice, respectful, super clean work, on-time, etc. Duct work in both basement and attic looks great, does not impede on the functional areas, and was clearly well thought-out. Quality work at a great price. I highly recommend KBS!

When the AC company I had used for 8 years abandoned me, I needed help during the hottest stretch of summer. KBS came to the rescue. Betty quickly found the part needed to repair the system and KBS had the manpower to get a tech out to install it the same day the part was available. KBS fixed immediately what my prior AC company (who installed the system) could not fix in 3 weeks of trying. The KBS tech was on-time and polite and the work was done quickly and neatly. I own 5 properties in this area and I know all the local AC companies. KBS is the best by far.

We recently had a whole new heating and air conditioning system installed by Kermit B Schulz, and we could not have been more satisfied with the whole process. We experienced significant damage due to the storm last winter, and Chip trekked through 4 ft of snow to assess the situation. From the very beginning until the very end, Chip was literally on call at all hours to help us out. In spite of the rush to replace our system, Chip was still willing to make dozens of calls on our behalf to make sure we received the maximum amount of rebates, which I didn't think was possible. The best part of it all is that our gas usage is down 50% YoY. I attribute this completely to how Chip designed and sized the system. We will be customers for life.

Our HVAC was installed over 20 years ago and in the last few years, we were dealing with sporadic loss of AC. in 2020, we contacted several HVAC companies for a replacement quote, knowing work wouldn't be done till the next year. K.B. Schultz came in the lowest with super quality materials (Trane). Once the deposit was received, the equipment was ordered (4 day turn around) and an installation appt was set up for following week. Fast service! The Team of 4 arrived at 7:30 am and finished at 5:30 pm. I barely knew they were here. Polite. Professional. Took care of covering my hard wood floors to avoid damages. Installed additional wooden flooring boards in the attic, etc The system was humming beautifully at the end of the day. KBS installed a heating and cooling system that supplied the first floor, and a newly renovated basement of my Victorian home. It was a custom install because we did not want the duct work to intrude on the ceiling height They fabricated duct work and were able to put the ducts behind the walls where they were totally hidden. Great work and quality.

The entire team is very professional and responsive. We have an older home and had an old HVAC (heat and AC) that needed to be replaced. The location and access to system was tricky. Chip and his team analyzed the situation, provided very competitive bid and replaced the system in a timely and efficient manner. They also installed new thermostats for all zones that will help us be more energy efficient. Highly reccommend them!

I contracted with Kermit Schultz for installation of a high efficiency boiler and water heater.
Brian Anderson did the initial assessment and was on time, courteous and knowledgeable.
The company contracted with Barry and Zac of Zajac Construction, to do the installation and they were on time, efficient and did a beautiful ( if you can call a boiler beautiful) installation. Neat, well organized and timely.
I would highly recommend the company and the installers.

The only way to describe my experience with the Schultz Company is AWESOME!!! Everything that they were supposed to do was done to perfection. The men who were here to uninstall the old system were fabulous..efficient, neat, courteous. They installed the complete new heat/AC systems beautifully. The total time they were here was less than 3 days, and when they finished I couldn't tell anything had been done because they cleaned up so well. We are totally pleased with Brian Anderson and the crew that I will not hesitate to recommend Schultz to my friends.

We have a house with retrofitted central AC system. After we bought it a year ago, we have discovered that the AC system is barely working and not really cooling air. It was also cooling very unevenly throughout the house. When we tried to find an HVAC company to replace the system we have learned that our house has very low attic and it is almost impossible to make a replacement. So after we have talked to more than fifteen companies, no one wanted this job at acceptable cost or they were suggesting to add a utility closet in the middle of the house. At last, we have invited Kermit Schultz and Sons Inc. They have spent a lot of time trying to find good technical solution to this challenge. Finally, they have suggested a dual system (Central Air/mini split). They have done their job quickly and efficiently. Both systems work like a charm. The price we paid to Kermit Schultz and Sons Inc. is lower than the price estimates of most other HVAC companies.

Realizing I needed a new heating system. I decided to look for a local company and found this company, Kermit B. Schulz & Sons of Millis. The rep came and checked out what I needed and decided on a TRANE high efficiency heating system. It was installed in one day and the area was cleaner than before. I now have plenty of heat and I also enjoy the rebate bonus that warms my wallet.

We have been with Kermit B. Schulz & Sons for over twenty years. Everyone in the organization is extremely knowledgeable and focused on providing excellent customer service. When it came time to replace our old heating and air conditioning systems this past summer, Schulz handled the entire process flawlessly from design to installation. We replaced our two zone heating and two zone air conditioning systems and added a dehumidifying system for our basement. Kermit B. Schulz & Sons is simply the best when it comes to heating and air conditioning systems.

We lost our heat the day after Thanksgiving (Thanksgiving Friday) We called the gas company and they dispatched a repair service that never showed up. We then asked for several names of gas furnace repair services. Kermit B Schulz is the only one that called back and within an hour of our call to them. They showed up within 2 hours. We then replaced our old furnace. They were courteous, professional and knowledgeable. A company you can depend on.. That is what we all want, especially when it comes to heat doing the first cold weather snap we had.

For over 10 years, KBS has done a great job providing annual maintenance for our central AC. Never once had they changed the service date on us and they had always been on time. Recently, we have to replace our gas furnace and AC. Naturally, we thought of them. Their price quote for a top brand name furnace was better than others. They showed up punctually. The whole operation was completed in less than a day; licensed plumber and electricians among the technicians. Even the KBS Salesperson whom I first communicated with to get a quote showed up. Subsequent arrangement for the town inspectors to validate the installation was done efficiently too. Workers were professional, friendly, and above all, competent. Mass Save rebate data were provided to me to facilitate a painless online application.  All in all, we are completely satisfied with the whole process. Thank you, KBS!

Our temperamental 9 year old heating system went out for the first time in December of 2020. Our normal service technician took a look at our Slantfin and told us our heat exchange had cracked and we needed another system completely. It wasn't adding up so we reached out to a friend for a referral to another company.

We contacted Kermit B Schulz and Sons to grab a second opinion. Immediately we could tell the difference as they worked with us to identify our warranty options with Slantfin only to find that we were lied to and the system needed separate repairs. Multiple repairs, multiple trips, and a ton of effort by Brian and we were back up and running.

This past January our heat went out again. This time, a totally separate set of error codes and right before temperatures were dropping into the single digits. The day before the coldest day of the year, Mike from KBS found the part we needed in another part of the state, picked it up, and installed it that day.

The most important thing you can have when your heat goes out in the winter is a company you can trust. That is KBS. Old school, family oriented, they go above and beyond to do right by their customers. Can't say enough good things about this company.

Kermit B Schulz & Sons are a truly professional company. We lost our HVAC system in the middle of winter and their service reps made it to our house within a hour of our call. When it was determined through a complete diagnostic that we needed a new system, heaters were brought to help us stay warm.
Chip Schulz then came out to prepare an order for our new system. He was very familiar with our system because he installed the originals when the condos were built. Chip explained everything he was doing, and took the time to help us fill out paperwork for rebates with MassSave, and gave us information to obtain financing with a local bank that works with MassSave.
Chip did his best to expedite the delivery of our new system from the manufacturer, and when received the crew from Kermit B Schulz were out the next day. All the necessary sub-contractors needed to finish job, had been scheduled previously and were right on time. Our entire HVAC system was removed and replaced expeditiously in about 7 hours. Kermit Schulz performed an outstanding job, cleaning up after themselves, and walking us through the correct operation.
We are so glad that we dealt with Kermit B Schultz for our HVAC needs, and we were treated almost as family, and we have no concerns about their knowledge, professionalism, and social skills, that each and every team member who came to fix our problem, we felt went above and beyond to make their customers happy, and to assure us of a system that they 100% stand behind. I first heard of KBS from a neighbor and received a quote from them concerning a full installation of a new AC system (including new ducts). They were very helpful giving me the different options I could choose (minisplits vs central AC vs heatpumps), pros and cons of each, and even encouraged me to do some of my own research regarding different brands and capabilities. If there was a particular brand/type of AC unit I wanted, they would install it (some companies only install 1 or 2 brands). I received a great quote from them that was significantly cheaper than others I received.

The installation service was a smooth as it could be with zero issues. The installation techs were very professional, on time each day, and very friendly/knowledgeable. I asked an abundance of questions at each stage of the install, and I received in depth answers to all of my questions. They went over in detail their plans for where everything would be located, and then asked my opinions on those locations before drilling holes. The install wasn't disruptive at all and was a very clean, easy job. I highly recommend KBS and would gladly hire them again for an AC install.
