Very safe. All outdoors. You are on your own to pick what you want. You can call ahead for advice and pick up curbside.

100% One of the longest going Nurserys in the area and still ran by Family for over 100 years ! There's a reason a Company stands the test of time , its built on quality and the customers satisfaction . There always be Nancy's in the world to complain but theres only 1 Bigelows still !

Stopped in for a last minute gift, staff was really nice, very knowledgeable, felt like I was in their home, wrapped my really cool plant, my wife loved it!! I'll be back for sure.

I love this place. With all the concern over planting native plants to help the native bugs, birds, bees and animals, they have the staff and plants to help with your questions and needs. Highly recommend!

Amazing local nursery, have great flowers but stuff sells fast, we missed blackberries but will gladly wait until next year because we know its quality.

Bigelow’s is just terrific! I needed a tree within a week for a local land trust project. Nick at Bigelow’s picked out a beautiful willow for us and, sight unseen except for the photos he sent us, delivered and planted the perfect tree. Bigelow’s was great to work with and extremely responsive on a very tight schedule. We were delighted!

Generally great plants. When we went in early June most vegetables were gone. Offers Senior discount, which is a nice bonus.

Healthy plants and helpful staff. Much variety. We brought home a nice Staghorn Fern to hang from one of our trees and several succulents for our terrariums. There is a nice koi pond to entertain the children (I enjoyed it too). More expensive than going to big box stores, however the plants are well tended, not overfertilized, and will survive transplant. This is the place you want to buy your plants from.

Good selection of plants , but mainly landscape oriented it seems. Great prices on tomato plants. Some good roses in big rose selection too. Did I mention rows of trees for sale, good stuff!

What a gem of a nursery with the most helpful staff! Skyler is such an asset to the Bigelow Nurseries team. I usually visit with a rough list of what I'd like to acquire for a certain project. Skyler always helps "weed" through my initial selections, offering advice on similar plants that might be more hardy or easier to care for longterm. This type of knowledge is absolutely indispensable for larger projects that require investments in trees and perennials. I feel really fortunate to have this nursery close by, especially with Skyler's trusted expertise.
