Excellent response time fixed problem first time

Have used Hackett plumbing a few times-always cordial, professional on time and do a great job, they have serviced both plumbing and heating needs, in fact replaced my burner in June of this year and it looks and runs great, also has reduced my heating costs, great guys!

The team from Hackett Brothers Plumbing have been a pleasure to work with, and I can't say enough how grateful I am for getting a referral of their company from a colleague. They are efficient, very responsive, great value, and I am beyond satisfied with their service and my overall experience. Thank you!

I called Rick at Hackett Bros. At 7 am because of my water heater. After diagnosing that we needed a new one he had his staff install before noon. They were polite, clean and efficient. I would recommend Hackett Bros. To all my family friends and clients without hesitation

Rick and his team installed two high efficiency combo heating/hot water systems into my multi-family property. There was some considerable work needed to be done in order to even get the systems into the building from a logistical perspective. Rick and his team did the work in just a matter of days. Rick also helped me through the rebate process with the state. Great work at a great rate. If you are in the North Shore area, I highly recommend Hackett Brothers for your plumbing needs.

I cannot say enough about Rick and his team…knowledgeable, professional, timely, neat…all the things you want in a plumber. He installed a brand new boiler and hot water heater and we couldn’t be happier with the product and the service. Hackett Brothers is 5 stars for sure!

We recently moved into a new home and were referred to Hackett Brothers Plumbing by the sellers, and we’re so glad we called them. Rick was extremely responsive from the start and walked us through all the plumbing items noted on our home inspection. He provided honest, clear feedback about what actually needed attention and what didn’t, which we really appreciated.

We decided to move forward with replacing a toilet, and Rick got us on the schedule right away. The team showed up on time, was professional, thorough, and incredibly efficient with the install. Everything was done perfectly and with great care.

I had these guys out to my house to fix a noisy heating pump in the basement, and to do a general review of the heating system, since it hadn't been done in a couple years. Two hours later, they come upstairs and say it's all fixed. Great!

Two weeks later, the new pump is making the exact same sounds as before. I called them to express my disappointment that the new pump would make the same sounds so quickly and to have them come out to fix it again.

I spoke with one of the Hackett brothers, who didn't identify himself, and who seemed entirely uninterested in the fact the work his company had done hadn't lasted a month. He also stated that the pump normally makes that sound, when there are two identical ones working silently right next to it. He said I'd get a call back sometime the next day. A week later, no call.

1 star, for terrible customer service, and shoddy workmanship. There are many other local plumbers in the area, and I'd recommend looking elsewhere before engaging this company. Unfortunately, I will have to.
