I can't say enough about how great the service has been from Affinity. When our furnace recently blew they were quick to the job and quick to replace. They have been managing our HVAC systems for years and we'd melt or freeze without them.

I contacted Michael at Affinity Construction after receiving 4-5 other quotes from other local companies for Mini-Splits. He was recommended by a local contractor. From our first communication through the bidding process, installation, and follow up after installation was completed, the entire experience has been NOTHING short of exceptionally positive. Everyone we met throughout the process, including the gentlemen who work with Michael, to the electricians he works with were helpful, informative, kind, polite, and worked tirelessly to get the project done on schedule (the electricians were present at our house after sundown with head lamps on!) Also important to us: The placement of the exterior units made perfect sense and were a departure from the other sites recommended by others. Also important to note: Michael's bid for this project was significantly, SIGNIFICANTLY less that that of the other bids and the price was the price: no strings attached or mandatory service plan buy-ins. We recommend him without hesitation and look forward to using Affinity for our future construction needs.

I can't say enough about Michael and his team. We had ductless ACs installed in our living room and bedrooms, and the entire process was handled seamlessly. Michael and his team were very professional and they kept us informed throughout the installation. Even better, they finished the project ahead of time and the total cost was well within budget and very competitive. I would recommend Michael and his team in a heartbeat.

Micheal and his team installed three state-of-the-art heat pump systems in my home with all associated ductwork and electrical. The whole team genuinely cared about performing honest and high quality work to the customer's satisfaction. Mike worked tirelessly to ensure that placement of all ductwork runs, registers, heat pumps, and thermostats were placed where we wanted them and not where it was easiest to install. All challenges were met with a smile and the jobs were done well with expectations communicated at every step. Mike was very knowledgeable about MassSaves initiatives and helped guide us through the process.

The heat pump project went so well, I invited Mike and his team back to complete a hodge podge of smaller jobs. I highly recommend Affinity Construction for your needs. An honest and reliable general contractor is an asset to be sure.

Had a MassSave home energy assement done when we bought our home. Boiler is old and needs to be replaced soon. Rather than buy a new boiler we decided to go with Heat Pumps so we could have the benefit of A/C in the summer time. I had a few different companies come in and quote and Affinity was by far the lowest and for two heat pumps versus their 1. The crew cam in and had the whole job done in two days. They were fast, punctual and very professional. I love our new heat/AC units. Super Happy we went this route and would highly recommend Affinity in both quality and pricing!

I had a truly great experience with Peter Sheppard and his team. Peter was tasked with adding a bathroom, finishing a bedroom, removing a kitchen ceiling and refinishing it. Peter and his team were the absolute definition of professionals from start to finish.

During the quoting process they listened to exactly what I expected. They explained various ways the job could be completed with the pros and cons of each method. This allowed them to create a plan that fit my budget.

Everyone brought in from plumbers to electricians were on time and did real high-quality work. The final product speaks for itself. I can also say they are highly trustworthy considering I was not able to be around while most of it was completed.

Peter and everyone associated with Affinity Construction was honest, reliable, punctual, hardworking, and created high-quality results. They did all this high-quality work and finished ahead of schedule. I would recommend them to anyone who needs work done on their home.

Affinity gets a 5 star review for several reasons; knowledge, quality, trust and very competitive pricing. Our primary goal was to cool our cape style home in the summer months however Mass Save's whole home energy program rebate and 0% loan gave us the opportunity to cool and heat our home using the latest heat pump technology. Mike was very knowledgeable on Mass Save programs and all the documentation submissions required for approval. Mike was also very knowledgeable on the latest Mitsubishi heat pumps (low temp operation, efficiency, quiet). The work he and his team performed was outstanding, two external units and six internal units was a lot but they completed on time and were very respectful when working in our home. Finally, by working directly with Mike vs. much larger HVAC organizations gave us a direct line to the person responsible for quoting and completing the project. I highly recommend Affinity for your next project.

Affinity Construction has done several projects for us, a total renovation of our kitchen and two bathrooms.
The projects were executed in a professional manner and on schedule!
Peter worked with us throughout the project to plan and calmly work through any unexpected hurdles with suppliers and tradesmen with excellent results. His crew are exceptional to work with!

A number of years ago, Affinity Construction re-built my garage and did a wonderful job. I have called on Peter Shepard for a number of issues that I have had with my multi family home over the years. His brother, Michael, had taken care of and fixed my air conditioning system for years.
Due to this past winter storms, my house had some significant damage, Peter and his crew removed the existing vinyl siding and replaced the rotted wood that was found and re-sided with Hardie shingles. They also replaced some windows and remodeled a kitchen.
Peter communicates frequently and the jobs were done on time and on budget.. He and his brother and their crew are wonderful to work with and I would not consider anyone else for future projects or fixes.

Attention please! First thing first, Mike is tall and handsome:)
Mike's workmanship and his service standards are nothing short of "tall and handsome".
Our 5 year old air conditioner stopped working.
We hired two techs from two different "highly respected" companies. In both cases, we were charged dispatch fees and were told we need to repair/change our Condenser for about $2900...A big chunk of money for a relatively young machine. We were sad...
Until we were introduced to Mike!
He showed up, on time, fully prepared, professionally equipped, and went at the problems right away.
Our Condenser was leaking badly. Plus, the leaking pipes are difficult to reach. As I thought we were screwed....Mike skillfully twisted and pulled the problematic "intestines" out of the lifeless Condenser, fixed the leaks, and brought the whole thing back to life again! Chi-ching! Just like that. Problem solved. Ninja style. Efficient and handsome.
Everyone loves to know and work with real masters. I know I found one.

We could not be more happy with our decision to hire Affinity Construction. We had a small addition put on our home and not only was it completed ahead of schedule and on budget, we literally had no complaints from beginning to end. The actual work only took around 6 weeks but prior to that we had many months of hold ups with our town for various reasons. Michael and Peter were very helpful and understanding of the process and extremely patient while we worked out some issues with the town. Once work began, they showed up every single day on time and left the site spotless. Their crew was just as professional and polite as the owners. They promptly responded to our (many) questions over phone and email throughout the process. I really can't say enough about them. They will be my first and only call for any additional projects.

First off- Mike and Peter are two people that I feel are closer to your new best friends than actual contractors. They are two of the kindest and most genuine people I've ever met doing this sort of work. I unexpectedly had to gut two shower inserts in a multi-family building. Mike, Peter, Nick, and Pederson were here literally the next day at 7am ready to go, and continued to be every day until we were done. I was never left guessing on schedule, or timeline. Their work quality was excellent, and I even had them sort out a couple other odd-jobs I had on site while they were here. Communication was brilliant, and they were very realistic with me on everything they were encountering as they went through it. They communicate well with my plumber, and even held them accountable on a couple things on my behalf. I literally cannot recommend these guys enough.

Mike has also now referred me to my primary plumber and electrician which are also BRILLIANT. Great people find other great people I guess!

Stop looking around and call these guys for any sort of construction or HVAC needs you may have!

Honestly my only complaint is that Mike is so tall and handsome that It's really hard to be self-confident when you're around someone of such stature and grandeur. He's also a ninja I am fairly positive. Be warned he only accepts payment in precious gemstones.
