I called velocity air when the HVAC unit at our new home stopped working. We got awesome service! We're new to the area and they came to our rescue. They came earlier than expected and have reasonable prices.

Neil McCann, the owner, was extremely responsive, polite, professional, and knowledgeable. He was on time and explained everything that needed to be done. I recommend him and would give him more than 5 stars if I could!

Mr. McCann is a great guy and a skilled HVAC professional.
He was able to repair my Attic AC unit by replacing the fan and control instead of installing a whole new system. I would recommend him for any HVAC services you might require.

Neil called back the same day I left a message and scheduled an appointment same day. I had water on floor beneath AC unit. He patiently answered all my many questions and informed me all about my central air system in terms I could understand. He diagnosed the problem right then and there as it was a clogged condensation pump line from evaporator coil. He doubled checked pressures and electrical and everything was good. Very professional and easily fixed problem. Reasonably priced.

I can’t say enough good things about Neil and velocity. He is very knowledgeable, walk me though everything he was doing and the reason for it. I did my shopping around and after so many companies to put my on hold put me on the schedule for weeks to come for a service or straight up not answering the phone or messages. he is by far the most reasonable honest and better priced of the companies around. If you are looking for a reliable, knowledgeable good priced. Don’t look further this is it.

I was having an issue with my outside AC where it would freeze up and also make louder noises. Called up Velocity Air and Neil came out to diagnose the problem. Extremely knowledgeable on the subject and was more than willing to explain the problem/situation. Neil was transparent in giving me my options which will allow me to prep in the future for replacing my ac unit. In the meantime, he solved the frosting issues and the ac is also not keeping me up at night. To continue, Neil accommodated my hours and was extremely flexible. Despite how long it took, he always made sure to run every possible tests to ensure that we were getting cool air. It's absolutely unreal the services they provides for the price. I am now a permanent customer, thank you Velocity air!

Velocity and Neil are the best! Had them service my unit which was well explained and knowledgeable. Had them replace my unit later which was executed to first class. We've used Neil several times at our business. He always answers the phone and wastes no time getting to you. His prices are very fair and he's always been very honest, won't charge you for things you don't need. Highly recommend.

Just had Neil come by yesterday per a Reddit recommendation and he was great. His pricing is reasonable, communication was easy (responds quickly to texts) and he explained everything so well. I’m a DIY person but my issue dealt with our mini split’s pressure being slightly low so it wasn’t something I felt comfortable addressing. I felt I could trust his diagnosis and felt good with the overall cost. Would highly recommend him!

I could not be more impressed with the work from Neil from Velocity Air HVAC. After a bad experience with a different HVAC contractor, Neil was here to complete the job for us in no time. We signed with him on Tuesday and had our condenser installed by Friday. While we signed with him for our primary zone cooling, our other zone’s cooling unit had just blown out and we reached out to him to diagnose the issue and he knew immediately that the motor needed to be replaced. After knowing the motor for our old system blew out, he was able to arrange to order a new motor to replace the malfunctioning one. This was the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had with a contractor. Neil is very knowledgeable and he clearly cares about the work he does. If you’re thinking about hiring this person, do it. You will not regret it. Wouldn't hesitate to rehire or recommend for future HVAC projects.

Neil is a highly skilled HVAC technician, a great communicator/educator, and a transparent businessman. I've hired Neil on three separate occasions now, and each time I have been extremely impressed/satisfied with his services. I recently had to replace the rooftop AC unit in our Salem condo, and Neil helped me navigate the entire process, from sizing the unit so it fit through our rooftop access door, to coordinating an electrician & plumber when we ran into unforeseen curveballs. Neil's pricing is very fair, and he was able to fit me into his busy schedule despite having multiple other jobs happening concurrently. We’re new homeowners and discovered a basement return was pulling basement air into our living space. Neil from Velocity Air was patient and professional—he listened to our concerns, did a thorough inspection, measured pressures, and clearly explained our options. He fixed the issue on the spot by properly sealing the basement return.
