Charlie and his team did amazing work on our backyard patio. He designed a concept that he felt would work best for our property and added ideas like a sitting wall and lighting to enhance the space. He also cleared out brush along our property line which he recommended. His pricing is very fair and couldn’t recommend his team’s work enough. His team worked hard and completed the job quickly. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Residential Landscape and Masonry on future projects.

They did a terrific job and were very easy to work with throughout the project.

I’ve used residential landscaping for a number of jobs. Landscaping, masonry, outdoor lighting, etc and everytime they exceed my expectations. Fair prices and they job gets done in a timely manner. I’d recommend them to anyone who needs quality work done at their home. Will definitely be using them again.

Charlie and his crew have transformed our pool/patio area. This was a huge project consisting of new fencing, new retaining walls/steps, drainage, concrete (new and restored some old), new stonework, and artificial grass. He was receptive to evolving ideas to make the outcome perfect and functional. He initially created a design so we could visualize our property with his ideas and it was very helpful. Great communication. Highly recommend.

Charlie and his crew are fantastic. They do amazing work, and they are some of the friendliest most reasonable folks in the business. Their speciality is their incredible stonework, followed closely by their expertise in landscape lighting -- both of which we couldn't be happier with and we get comments on the work all the time. But they also do irrigation, planting, fencing, grading, lawns, and everything else you'd expect the pros to do. Would hire and re-hire them every time we have work needed.

I needed masonry work and Charlie was the guy to go to. He fixed my retaining wall for a fair and honest price while providing a great product. The photos speak for themselves, he even put lights on the wall so it can be seen at night!

This was our third time working with Charlie from Residential Landscaping and Masonry. We have always been impressed by RLM’s work. We decided for our third and largest project to work with Charlie. One of the most impressive parts of the process was when Charlie sent us a computer generated photo of how our patio would look finished. I’m not a good at imagining things, but once Charlie put it into pictures for us, we were sold.
His crew is beyond amazing. They are very hard-working, very polite and very respective of your property. They worked every day long hours sometimes in the bitter cold, wind and rain. Every night before they leave, they clean up the property and leave everything well organized for the next day.
The artists who laid out the rock pattern for our patio were true impressive. There is a very involved process of making the pattern and also making square pavers work in a circle. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
I can’t recommend Residential Landscaping and Masonry enough. We are so happy with all three of our projects and will call Charlie first thing in the future if we have any more needs!

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered a cord of wood which they dropped off which seemed extremely light and was filled with dirt and scrap. I mentioned this on the spot to the driver/owner I think it was, and he told me once I put it away, if that ended up being the case to call back & he would make things right. As suspected it was the worst wood drop I’ve received in over 20 years. I called back, spoke to a gentlemen who told me he would swing by and drop more. I told him that was fine or to just Venmo me back whatever he thought was fair based on the pictures of the pile of scrap I took. That was 2 months and 6 calls ago and to date no response. Too bad b/c I rarely write reviews unless I feel I was scammed. It just so happens this was my experience with this business. So…BUYER BEWARE before using this company’s services for any job, delivery, etc. There are much better choices than to take your chances with Residential Landscaping & Masonry in Scituate, MA.

We had a very disappointing experience working with Charlie and his company. The grass installation was poor quality—patchy, uneven, and full of rocks. The outdoor lighting has also stopped working. We reached out willing to pay for a repair and although Charlie responded once, he did not follow through and has since ignored our requests for help. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this company. Very frustrating experience.

BUYER BEWARE! Advertised seasoned firewood on Facebook, Need a chain saw for a lot of it, Not seasoned wood . Charlie didn’t even respond to me, then he switched his Facebook book title on the wood. I would NOT recommend him to deal with his delivery and response was poor very!

Do not buy firewood from this man. He told me it was seasoned and ready to burn. He lied. The load was small and dirty. I split 5 random pieces and used a digital moisture meter on them and they were all over 30%. Seasoned wood is less than 20%. I tried to burn the wood that days and it won’t burn. I contacted Charlie and he told me to store it in my garage until it dries. This man is dishonest and don’t ever waste your money with him.
