After disappointing experiences with other landscape companies, an experienced gardening friend recommended Bartletts. I am so glad she did. For anyone who loves gardening and keeping their trees and shrubs healthy, this is the company to call! I have found them honest, well-educated and professional in every way. Tom Morini the arborist in charge was very knowledgeable about my trees and gave me practical advice about treating them. I had 2 trees taken down and 2 large trees pruned.
He directed the crew efficiently and then they cleaned up like they were never there!
I would definitely recommend them.

Chris was very knowledgeable and educated me on how to best care for my trees. He looked at the trees I was concerned with, explained what was going on, and gave me some advice to help them recover. The office staff was pleasant to deal with and they put me on a cancellation list and actually called me back to schedule an earlier appointment. I am all around very satisfied and the consultation was free!

I am happy I decided to use Bartlett. I have large, old trees that have been serviced by other companies that mainly just cut down trees. Ryan from Bartlett came and walked through the property and answered all my questions and identified some mystery trees. We talked about the multiple species host value of the lightening damaged oak and made a plan to make the tree safe and still provide landscape and habitat benefits. Chris, Matt and James were the crew that handled the work. I couldn't be there when they worked, but everything was cleaned and tidy. I also had a disease treatment on my ancient boxwoods that is saving them from needing to be replaced. A good investment.

The work is done at a summer cottage and generally I am not there. But the place is always left neat and clean, the telephone conversations are helpful and pleasant, and the cedars are still looking good!

From the initial call to the completion of the tree trimming job they were completely professional. The arborists were open and honest. They didn’t try to sell me services that I didn’t need. The crew that worked on my tree were very courteous and professional and very neat. When they were done, it was like they were never here! I will definitely use them again!

We have been extremely pleased with Dawn Cann and her team at Bartlett. Dawn has been incredibly great to work with managing the trees on our property. She is so caring and her expertise and professionalism is outstanding. Dawn is responsive, on time and the quality of treatments is so much better than what we had before we hired Dawn at Bartlett. I have dealt with Dave Mendell at Bartlett several times. Most recently he came out to evaluate the emerald ash bore infestation in my ash trees.
While there is a treatment available, which is very expensive and I have alot of ash trees he advised me to simply remove the trees due to the fact that he felt the treatment would probably be ineffective. He could have easily taken my money but chose to give me honest advice. Thank you, Dave.

We had a terrible experience. They sent young inexperienced kids, who smoke on your property and sit on there phones, instead of doing there job. When we brought this to the owner’s attention, we were told “That’s Dave” there is nothing we can do. He does not return calls once he is paid. This man is a thief. He steals from the customer who pay highly for a services he is not providing, while making deals with customers who do illegal business with him. Will never use them again!

Lousy customer service. I had an appointment schedule for a Tuesday after the storm. It was an emergency with a tree leaning n falling towards my house. I called on the day before to confirm my service appointment and was all set. The day of the service, no one showed up or called me whatsoever. 3 days later as I'm writing this review, still no one from Bartlett has called me. My tree, which was an emergency, would have been sitting in my living room right now. I moved on and did my business with another company.
I would not recommend this company.
