The work was done quickly, professionally, and everything is working perfectly now. Great communication and very reliable. Matt did all of the electrical work for our house Reno/addition project. He upgraded our panel and installed new wiring for our new addition including lighting, ceiling fan, kitchen appliances, under cabinet lighting and outdoor lighting. We couldn’t be happier!

I hired this electrician expecting, you know, wires and switches… and instead I got what can only be described as a full-service life upgrade.

It started normally enough. He showed up exactly on time, which already felt suspiciously impressive. But then, within minutes of stepping into my house, he somehow diagnosed a flickering light, fixed an outlet that’s been “haunted” since 2017, and gently pointed out that my smoke detector had been chirping in a way that suggested it had emotionally given up.

At one point, during what I assumed was a standard panel inspection, the power went out across the entire street. Before I could even process what was happening, he calmly walked outside, glanced at the transformer like it had personally offended him, and ten minutes later… everything was back on. I’m not saying he fixed the neighborhood grid, but I also didn’t see anyone else out there.

Beyond what may or may not have been minor miracles, his professionalism was unmatched. Impeccable manners, explained everything in a way that didn’t make me feel like I needed an engineering degree, and somehow left the space cleaner than when he arrived. I’m fairly certain he aligned a crooked picture frame on his way out, which feels above and beyond for electrical work.

If you’re looking for someone reliable, knowledgeable, and possibly capable of restoring order to both your home and the broader electrical universe, this is your person. I almost want something else to break just so I have a reason to call him again.

Matt did a great job wiring our renovation and installing our recessed lighting. He was very knowledgeable and helpful explaining our options and suggesting the best things to do. He left everything neat and clean when he left. Very professional! I would hire him again in a minute!

We had a great experience working with Dever Electric. Matt helped us install a 220-volt panel and handled all of the wiring for a hot tub we added to our patio and the entire process went incredibly smoothly.

The project required running electrical cable from our main panel across a finished basement, which could have been disruptive but Matt handled it with real care and precision. He brought in a subcontractor to cut into the ceiling for the cable run, and the work was so well done that I genuinely have a hard time even finding where the cut was made.
