Stu is by far the best electrician we have ever hired! He is very personable, dependable and informative which is a rare combination for todays standards. It was a pleasure to have had him doing work for us.

We asked Stu to help us with electrical work to add a generator. He was very courteous and polite. A professional whom is extremely helpful and answers any and all questions. He was patient when I asked him to go over and explain (multiple times) how exactly to hook up the generator. We would highly recommend Stu for any electrical needs.

I needed an electrician to wire an outside floodlight to an existing wall switch that had previously been connected to another device which was removed many years ago. I have wanted this done for years but never knew who to call. Stuart Paul Electric Service was recommended to me by my daughter who has been involved with them professionally prior with electric work for the business where she works. When I called and described the work the electrician told me he had another obligation which would be quick and then since he was in my area he could come by later today. I never thought I could get anyone to come by so quickly to look at this work. When he arrived he was very professional and reviewed with me what I asked for. He said he could do it while he was there. I agreed and he got my floodlight working and connected to the switch as I wanted. He also did the work to code as I requested. He also tested the light and switch to be sure it functioned properly. I would recommend Stuart Paul Electric Services to anyone needing an electrician’s services. It was a very good experience with this company/electrician.

Our youngest son has extensive medical needs that require a ventilator; along with other medical equipment that need electricity.
We faced a problem on an early Saturday morning and Stu responded promptly to our home and was sensitive to our situation.
Stu identified and resolved the electrical issue quickly. He was personable and professional. We will definitely call him in the future for any electrical issues.

After getting the run-around for over a month by another electrician to come and install a transfer switch for our generator (I'll be there/I can't come/I'll be there/no part, etc.), we reached out to Stu on a Friday and he was here at the promised time the following Tuesday. He promptly went to work, hooking up our switch and in the process, found a few other issues in our electrical box that needed to be addressed and took care of them as well. Stu went above and beyond in his work ethic, was thoughtful, trustworthy, informative with everything he was doing, engaging, personable and a meticulous electrician. He took care of us and went beyond what we expected and most importantly, was VERY, VERY reasonable. We have found our NEW electrician! Stu was responsive, professional, and made quick work of upgrading my panel to switch over to a generator with loss of power. In the past when communicating with other tradesman I send the text or place the call and hope they respond back, often to no avail. Stu was extremely responsive and kept me up to date with when he would arrive on site. I plan to delete the other Electricians from my contact list.

We had Stuart in to install recessed lights, It came out amazing! He was very professional, and helped out with the design. He also went above and beyond to work around my schedule. I would definitely recommend him, and will be using him again!!

Stuart Paul replaced wiring to enable my new dryer. He was prompt, extremely polite, and capable. Not only did he solve my immediate problem, but he advised me regarding previous issues with my wiring. He went above and beyond to help me with prior electrical problems unrelated to the service call. He is my new regular electrician and I plan to call him soon regarding future work. After a power wash to the house, a door bell on the house was shorting out. The inside door bell fixture was becoming very hot, etc. Stuart came out for an emergency call. He was very punctual; very professional & very smart at diagnosing the problem, and recommending and providing a solution to the problem. Stuart is also very personable, and nice to work with. We will be calling Stuart back for other electrical jobs. I highly recommend Stuart Paul for all of your electrical jobs!!

Stuart was recommended to us by Ecobee, as an electrician familiar with the installation of their smart thermostat products. Hardly JUST a thermostat installer, Stuart applied a cautious craftsman’s touch integrating two brand new smart thermostats into a 30-year-old boiler in our 99-year-old home.

He took time to carefully explain the work he needed to perform and the costs involved, was very careful to not damage or disturb any of the surrounding trim in the work areas, and then worked with me to thoroughly test that each thermostat was functioning properly.

With the primary work complete, he spent some additional time with me answering some questions about other electrical work our house needs, and gave some great suggestions for future repairs and renovations.

Stuart obviously shows a great deal of care and focus on the quality of his work, and we very much recommend his services!

I have a hall light that is controlled by four different on/off switches.  That 4-way system was not working correctly, and I could not figure out how to fix it.
I called Stuart Paul.
On the following day, he arrived at the agreed upon time, but I had an unforseen and urgent matter which required my attention in a town 30 minutes away.  This severely limited the time he had to figure out and fix the hall light problem, but Mr. Paul was not troubled by the time constraint.  He examined the switches, got some stuff from his truck, and solved the problem in time for me to make the appointment.
It was a very good experience, and Mr. Paul was a very pleasant guy

Stu added a ceiling heater into my upstairs bathroom and a exhaust fan in downstairs. In both cases he had to think outside the box because, either there was no wiring or it had to be replaced. He was traveling up and down 3 flights of stairs to snake wires in a way that would not be seen. He is a hard worker and finds a way to do what you want. He is efficient, prompt, hard working and pleasant. Very good at returning calls and texts. He also cleans up after himself. I have to thank my neighbor for recommending him and I would definitely recommend him.

A local contractor and friend referred me to Stu earlier this year. My wired smoke alarms were malfunctioning, a simple task for an electrician but Stu came right over to help us. That was the beginning of more projects from a generator panel upgrade, LED lighting upgrades in our kitchen, new outlet installations etc etc. Stu is a highly skilled local professional that prefers to stay local, that’s important to me. Stu is the best electrician you could possibly find!!! I needed an outdoor plug installed on my shed to plug my electric vehicle into. Stu picked up on first call and had the installation done less than a week later.

He literally worked during a snowstorm installing my plug and even cleaned up the terrible wiring in my shed without me asking. He moved a lot of stuff out of my shed (it's a complete mess so that is no easy task) so that he could help make the wiring in my shed safe. He was professional and the end product could not be better.
