We had Brian MacFarland to look at our broken heater and quote for a replacement. He was very kind and knowledgeable, he took his time explaining and showing all the issues to us so we understood everything and could make the choice that was best for us. He was informative without pressuring and was very nice to work with I’d recommend and would do future services with them again.

Brian came to check on a very urgent issue and was super knowledgeable and professional. He had the right equipment to diagnose and evaluate the issue with a rooftop furnace, and offered reasonable solutions for us to think about. Ide highly recommend brian for any hvac job and glad we reached out.

Jaden provided excellent service to replace an internal motor in my boiler. He was on time, and while his service was excellent, it was also done quickly and he had us back up and running in an hour.

12/15 update: another great interaction with Sila representative… this time is was the plumbing specialist, Roy. I don’t typically go out of way to right reviews, but Roy is worthy of the recognition and high praise. He was the perfect combination of polite, helpful, straightforward, cool and informative (plus my grumpy old dog even liked him so that must means he’s a great guy). Anyway, just wanted to say it matters when speaking a lot of money on appliances that at least you feel like the company helping you 1) seems professional and 2) treats you with respect. And Roy passed with flying colors and I just wanted to give him a much deserved shout out.

Just had diagnostic appt with Brian and can say the guy is the salt of the earth. Easy to talk with because he provided clear communication and came across very honest. Made a genuine effort to help and try and fix the problem vs immediately trying to sell me and I appreciated that. Would recommend Sila specifically because of him

My boiler broke at midnight the day after Christmas. My usual plumber was out of the country and I had a hard time finding someone to come help. Sila sent Brian McFarland who was *excellent * and explained his thorough diagnosis of the issue. He was patient and clear and gave me a good idea of what to expect with cost for different options. Great experience.

Brian is very knowledgeable and was able to identify the problem with furnace at my apartment quickly. I’m a construction project manager myself and I know a professional when I see one. Would definitely use this company for our upcoming projects. He showed up in a few hours even with this heavy snow. The unit is fixed and running!

Very efficient and friendly service from expert plumber Adam. He explained the process as he worked and answered our questions. He made suggestions and recommended products that would help us in the future. He rescued us on Christmas Eve and fixed our leaks. The price for the service was quite high considering the retail cost of the parts, but it was reasonable under the circumstances. Like many homeowners I have some plumbing knowledge and want to fix problems myself if I can. I could easily change a cartridge if everything went smoothly but old leaking valves can be tough to replace and require the special tool to extract the old parts, so when the fixture is shooting water from the handle on Christmas Eve might not be the best time for amateur plumbing. Thank you Adam. Good service from Sila ensured a smooth experience. Thank you.

Very approachable and professional. Not only did he fix my kitchen sink issues, but I also received great advice from Roy. I’ll definitely be using Sila services again and I highly recommend Roy Valdez!

We had Sila over after waking up with no heat. Brian came over and even though the boiler was 29 years old and leaking he was willing to repair it to give us heat after I explained that we just couldn’t do it right now. We really appreciate Brian not pushing us to replace the system, even though we realize it will need to be. We will call Sila when we are ready to replace.

Did a great job of explaining all the work to be done and why. Always was checking to make sure I was happy with what was happening.

Alex took the time to test every part of our tenants' heating system including the heat pump, boiler (where the problem was), thermostat settings and radiator settings. At the same time he gave me the best overview of the system anyone has done to date. When he left I had a working system, a clear understanding of how to keep it working through the winter, and a plan for a more permanent upgrade in the spring. We've met other good people from Sila, but Alex's willingness to educate stands out. You can tell he truly cares about providing a good environment for people through HVAC.

Nick was amazing. Our heating stopped working in the middle of the snowstorm. He came and looked into multiple potential issues and was able to quickly come up with the solution to get our heating back on. He was constantly communicating on what he was doing and his next steps to solve the problem. He was great to work with

I recently had Kimber shave come to my house for some plumbing work, and he did an absolutely outstanding job. He was professional, punctual, and clearly knew what was my problem. The issue was diagnosed quickly, explained clearly. All at a fair price.

What really stood out was his attention to detail and how clean they left the workspace when finished. It’s rare to find someone who takes his much pride in their work. I wouldn’t hesitate to call him again or recommend them to anyone who needs reliable, high-quality plumbing service. Definitely use Sila Heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical for plumbing issues.

Michael S did an excellent job on our annual ductless mini split hvac maintenance servicing! We are first time home owners and he took the time to explain stuff we could do ourselves to maintain our ductless mini split system. Very professional and patient! Now we have peace of mind knowing our hvac system has been cleaned / serviced. Highly recommend!

Marvin and Jorge were very knowledgeable and replaced our HVAC unit very quickly and efficiently. They arrived at the time they said they would, and finished the work in half a day. They also were great at explaining how to maintain the unit properly. Would 100% recommend!

Tony represents Sila very well He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and very good at communicating what was the issue was with our boiler. What impressed me the most was how he made sure that he would not leave without first making sure we had heat, on what was going to be a very cold and snowy night. Can't thank him enough for getting our boiler up and running. Represents Sila extremely well, and because of him, I would highly recommend Sila to family members, friends, and neighbors.

Outstanding service by Brian and Roy, two of the most knowledgeable, professional, and friendliest guys you’d want on site when your heater gives up the ghost. Sila just recently installed a new water heater as ours was at the end of its life. The technician, Adam, was very professional and did a wonderful job communicating what was being done, why things had to happen etc. it really gave us a sense of trust for a topic that we know very little about.
Adam and the team installed everything within 1 afternoon with minimal disruption to the rest of the house and it was a simple, straightforward process.
I would absolutely recommend Sila and Adam for future work.

Jaden Kim came to repair my furnace. He was very professional and took the time to explain everything clearly. He did everything he could to help and provided good recommendations I highly recommend it !

Eric just finished our annual furnace maintenance. He was professional, respectful of our home and personable. He advised us that the filter we were using would shorten the life of the fan motor ($$). Our experience with Sila techs since 2022 has been stellar. I highly recommend the company.

My furnace stopped working on Super Bowl Sunday. I called Sila , they were here early the next morning. It turns out I need a new furnace, but Brian was very knowledgeable and explained everything that I needed and explained the cost of the options available and what would work best for us. I am very satisfied with Brian and with Sila.
