Initially, I was unhappy with the service due to a misunderstanding in the work that was perfomed. The owner personally called me to explain. I appreciate the follow up and the care this business takes in resolving customer issues.

Horan Oil installed a System 2000 and a Superstore water heater. The technitions were clean and professional. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Just moved and are new to oil. Happened to run out sooner than expected Saturday afternoon. I called 7 companies and Horns oil was the only one that answered.
Fortunately Gus popped over to check out our situation and made a few calls to get us some help. In a few hours George came over and gave us enough oil to make it through the weekend.
It’s now Sunday evening and I still haven’t received one call back from any other company. Was also the best rates for a first time client.

Best oil company, very professional and reliable. I had a problem with my water heater and they came our right away and corrected my problem at a reasonable cost. The oil delivery is on time and the prices are very fair compared to others. Highly recommend.

Horan Oil is the best! Came home from a ski trip late at night to an ice-cold home. Called Horan Oil, and received a return call right away and shortly thereafter George appeared at our door. Like a savior in the night, he was friendly, efficient, and he gave us HEAT! The next week, we looked out the window after the big snow storm to see one of Horan Oil’s delivery men trekking up through the snow with a big hose to get us our oil. So grateful for what they do for our family!

We just recently became Horan Oil customers. Here we are on the day after Thanksgiving and our oil burner started making very loud clanking noises. We called them to see if they would come out, and we were told, yes we'll be there this p.m. Sure enough they were here within two hours and fixed the problem. Everyone we dealt with was professional and friendly. Can't say enough about this company. Thank you Horan Oil!!!

We had a major boiler issue that was actively flooding our basement. Horan Oil sent Brian our way in less than 30 minutes and he was able to fix and save our very old boiler when at first we thought we would need to replace the whole thing. He worked quickly and saved us a ton of money with his skills and efficiency.

These are great people! I have been a customer for many years and feel comfortable letting them have a key to my house. They take the time to make me feel special no matter what I ask. Two winters ago, two drivers showed up and shoveled out my oil fill pipe when my husband was in Florida soaking up the sun and I was home with 3 kids, they just did it! I have friends who were not so fortunate. Horan Oil is the best!!

Horan Oil is the has been the gold standard for servicing and supplying our home heating needs for most of the past 28 years. They have maintained and provided upgrades to our old furnace and been there for us in any emergencies, which have been rare. Our circa 1770 farmhouse has been kept warm and cozy thanks in no small part to Horan. From Jim Horan on down, this is a service oriented organization. It's rare to find these days.
This is a bit of a shoutout, long overdue, as we downsize to our new condo. Thanks to the entire Horan family for years of reliable and friendly service.

I have been a Horan Oil customer for a few months now. When I signed up they gave me a great introductory offer and their fuel deliveries have been right on time. Horan Oil having 24 hour emergency service allows me to feel safe and comfortable going with this company.

Cameron Lucci was excellent. He explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions. He was also very polite, and I was happy with his expertise and his experience.

I never leave bad review on google but this situation is so frustrating I have to comment. Note I have been a Horan oil customers 7 years and never had an issue.

We were away a few days during the last snow storm. When my family and I got home there was a note in the mailbox from oil delivery guy asking to de-ice driveway which was understandable as it was pretty well iced over since we weren’t home. Next morning on the Wednesday I spend 4 hours breaking up ice and salting the driveway. All clear.

I contact Horan Oil and they say driver will be out that day. He never shows up. I call next day. Same thing, they say he will be there today, never shows up. I call next day same thing. It’s Saturday I called they said samething and again no delivery. It’s Sunday and we have run out of oil. I have two little kids in the house and one is special needs. This is ridiculous.

I have no idea why they keep lying. Just tell me what’s going on.

Never experienced anything like this before. Horrible experience.

Update : changed to 3 stars as oil was finally delivered but still no explanation on why CS said oil was out for delivery for straight days.

Filling oil at 6:35am on a Sunday is completely inconsiderate. Woke my baby and entire family. Not sure what happened to this place since they merged with McFarlane.

Their drivers are inconsiderate and don’t know how to drive almost ran me off the road and then stuck his tongue out at me….. great look for the company. He then tried to catch up to me just to almost intimidate me….
