I cant be happier with the work that Landscape Design Assoc. did for my home in Needham. It was a project from design to installation including patio, driveway, walkway with tree shrub and perennial planting. From the very beginning Steve Roach put together a plan that had my needs in mind.He was there for every step of the process always looking for the most cost efficient solution. The whole crew was courteous, professional and thorough and did the project in a very timely manner. The installers were outstanding craftsmen. I would highly recommend Landscape Design for your project.

I live in a condo in Needham with a very steep driveway leading into my garage. My project involved installing stone pavers to create a patio & driveway in the back of my home. The Land Design crew were very professional & pleasant, showing up promptly every day until completion of the project, working very efficiently and cleaned up well at the end of the day. I was impressed with their flexibility doing the job with very limited extra space to work in. They also rebuilt a small portion of a stone wall to match the existing wall. I am very pleased with the results & would highly recommend them to do your project.

I had a very positive experience working with Land Design Associates. They removed all the overgrown trees in front of my house and designed and installed new landscaping. They also built me 2 raised garden beds and installed drip irrigation. The project was very collaborative. I was presented with 3 designs and worked with Jim to determine the plantings. Then Antonio and his crew came and installed all 100 plants in 2 days.

Everyone I worked with was professional, personable, and knowledgeable. They return phone calls, emails, and texts in a timely manner. I can't wait to see what my plantings look like in the spring. I would definitely use them again.

When we decided to build a patio in our backyard, we looked for someone that we can trust and rely on, and we couldn’t have been happier with Jim and his team.

We met initially with Jim to get an idea of their processes and initial estimate of the project, then we worked mainly with Antonio as the project leader. We went back and forth several rounds on the design, and he was very patient with us. What we appreciated most was he heard what we want to accomplish and provide valuable suggestions based on his expertise knowledge. I felt he truly had our best interests in mind.

The work was very professionally done, and the patio came out even better than we’ve imagined. So we highly recommend Land Design to anyone looking to upgrade or transform their landscape.

I have known Jim since 1985 and watched him grow his business over the years. I have admired his design work and approach in helping his customers envision their dream gardens. I was especially impressed with his Japanese garden designs. I now live in California so when it came time to create a new design for my garden due to drought issues we're experiencing, Jim was the first person I thought of to help me design and envision my dream drought-resistant garden. I could not be more satisfied with the design!! If you're looking for someone who is exceptionally ethical, professional, and creative, Jim Egan is your guy. He will deliver on his word and you won't be disappointed.

Jim and his team did an amazing job designing our yard. This was the fourth project they worked on for us. Their work is super high quality, the team is hard working and always on time and they are just nice people which is always a plus. Jim is very easy to work and plan the project with and he has a great knowledge of plants and a good eye for yard design. Highly recommended.

Land Design put in several new shrubs for us as well as moving a few Arborvitae trees and shrubs to other areas of the property. They also worked with me on the design of the various shrubs in the garden bed, ensuring everything was safe for our puppy. The work was executed quickly and to a high standard. Our point of contact, Steve R, was very kind, professional, prompt and willing to help us find ways to stay within our smaller budget. We are very happy with the outcome and would recommend them to others for design and planting.

We had a great experience working with Land Design Associates at our Newton home.
We decided to remove the tall old hemlocks that had overgrown the border of our property.
Jim Eagan, the owner worked with us to ensure timely completion and reasonable pricing. Jim is very professional, personable, has a great knowledge of plants and a good eye for yard design.
His crew professionally removed the old tree stumps, levelled the yard, and did a great job planting new evergreen trees to define a natural boundary line.
Jim Eagan and his team were a pleasure to work with, the quality of the work they did for us was excellent.
They were punctual, polite and worked fast and efficient to get the job done. We could not be happier with the finished product.

We are extremely happy with the work that Land Design Associates did on our backyard project. This project included hardscape and softscape areas and our backyard has been beautifully transformed. From forming initial ideas to making changes (some big, some small) during the project, Rebecca, Anthony, Oscar and Gerson were a pleasure to work with. The additional crew working on our project were consistently on time, respectful, and very nice. We would not hesitate to work with Land Design again and we highly recommend them!

We live in Franklin and this summer decided to get some yard design done to update our front and backyards.
LDA helped make our outdoor space so much more beautiful this summer. We had overgrown bushes in the front and needed some garden design in the backyard too.
Nick and his team made sure to take all our ideas into consideration and were very accommodating with every change as we proceeded with the design and plantings.
We highly recommend them to anybody who is looking for a great experience.

We had a great experience working with Jim, Robyn, and the team at Land Design Associates. They really took the time to understand our priorities through the design process, and the installation / planting team was really courteous, thorough, and knowledgeable. We will definitely use them in the future for additional work on a patio and built-in grill. We love sitting in our yard now and enjoying all the beautiful flowers!

I had a great working experience with Land Design Associates and would definitely recommend them to someone looking to do a backyard project. LDA set themselves apart at the outset because of their great customer service and their professional design / build approach. We met a few times on-site at the beginning of the project to define the project scope and goals and to identify what exactly we were trying to achieve. I want to give credit to Steve, Anthony, and to the foreman Hector, all of whom were organized, responsive, and really went above and beyond to put a personal touch on our project. Great job to everyone involved and would definitely use them again. 👍

We have had very good experiences with Land Design Associates at our Newton home. We used them for design and installation of rear patio with steps, retaining wall, front and rear plants and lawn installation. From the design phase to selection to installation we had very positive experiences with all their staff. We especially appreciated the feeling that we were working together - especially that they listened well and were amenable to changes as we went. They also went above and beyond to make sure any issues after their work were quickly dealt with.

We had a wonderful experience with the crew at Land Design Associates. When we moved into our new house, Jim helped us design the landscaping, including a brick patio, always listening to our suggestions and offering his insight and expertise. Antonio and his crew then did a fabulous job on the work - they were incredibly fast and efficient yet always careful and responsive. We've been enjoying spending every day outside on our patio and yard and frequently get compliments from neighbors and passersby. Any time we've had questions Antonio has gotten back to us immediately, and even though we're at least 40 minutes from the LDA offices, someone was always ready to come by if we needed anything. Highly recommended!!

Steve Roach and his team at Land Design are a pleasure to work with. We've worked with them for over three years on various projects, including patio and hardscaping, landscaping, and drainage work. We've been consistently impressed with their expertise, professionalism, and responsiveness. We would highly recommend working with them if you have a project in mind in the Wellesley area.

Land Design was perfect from start to finish! Especially working with Rebecca Little. She was extremely knowledgeable of what and where to plant in our new front and back yards. Her expertise and dedication to learning about our lifestyle gave us a gorgeous new home we can enjoy year round!

Additionally, Rebecca truly personalized our project with a beautiful fence to keep our dog safe and a hardscape driveway and walk way that is truly out of a magazine. Not to mention a maintenance plan to make sure our house looks well-cared-for from irrigation and clean-up to professional planters that adorn our porch all four seasons.

Very professional, responsive, and capable. Rebecca was great to work with and gave us great designs and high quality drawings with lots of plant options. They were very flexible and worked with us to deliver different phases of the project based on weather and our own schedules. They were very fair in making cost adjustments for some small services that we did not end up needing from the original contract. We will definitely be using them to complete some other landscaping ideas we have very soon! A great example of how to do business!

We hired Land Design Associates to consult and ultimately design/build the landscape for a new home in Milton. The leadership team and project manager were very responsive from the start of the project through completion. We asked Jim’s team to design a comprehensive one acre plan and then divide that plan in stages that we could implement moving forward. Now that we have completed the first phase of the project, we are very satisfied with the quality of construction, perennials, shrubs, and evergreens chosen and continue to receive compliments from neighbors on the overall design and beauty. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and look forward to continuing the project!

We worked with Steve from Land Design Associates and were most impressed by his professionalism and follow through. We had repairs that needed to be made to our pool decking and all of our walkways. Bannos and the team power washed and repaired everything. Our hardscape looks as good as new!! We will for sure be using Land Design Associates again!! Thank you Steve!!
