After 3 quotes from other plumber and Big Box store. Josh and the team at Above & Beyond Plumbing where the only ones that came out and took a looked what they had to do for an honest quote. So there were no surprises. They installed my new gas water heater, it only took a day other than the city inspection. I am very happy with the work they did and I would highly recommend Above & Beyond Plumbing and Heating.

I recently had some plumbing work done on a few bathrooms, from rough plumbing to the finish product. It’s hard to find a good, reliable plumber. Besides showing up on time (which to me is a first), he was very professional, polite and respectful me and to the clients. Kept a clean job site when he was done at the end of the day. You can always tell when a person doesn’t care about his work from a person who cares. Josh cared. He was the type of guy that chose quality first over everything. Highly recommend!

I had an issue with my main water shut off valve in my house and I contacted Above & Beyond to fix the issue. Josh got right back to me and came out the next day to take a look at the issue. He did a great job and definitely would contact him again about any future plumbing needs!

Josh is very professional and kept me informed on different water heater models when mine needed a replacement. He kept me updated through the entire process, from setting up my appointment and bringing in the new water heater to replace the old one and explaining process for rebate submission. The quality of work with respect to the install is really neat. When the water heater had an alert message on my app, after 11 months from install date, Josh was easily reachable on the phone. Josh not only answered my questions on the phone but also checked the unit himself to ensure everything is working as expected. I highly recommend him for any plumbing and water heater installation.

I am beyond happy with my experience with Above and Beyond. Josh was courteous and professional. He came when he said he would and he left my home in better shape than when he arrived (even vacuumed when some insulation spilled from the attic). We were having a problem with the a/c and when there was still an issue afterward, he got someone there right away to check it, fix the issue and it was a REALLY hot day. He even called afterward to check up on the issue. I am very very happy with Josh and my a/c and heating systems are running at top notch!!!

Josh is a great plumber. We had a flooded basement for 4 days in two weeks and he figured out our problem within an hour. It was a problem with the furnace and no one else could figure it out. He's my new plumber.

Very professional and honest plumber. We had a basement sump pump stop working after less than a year after Josh installed it after the first flood. Although it was not Josh's fault it broke (too many power outages!), he came and replaced it without charging for labor. Would definitely use him again.

Josh provided plumbing services for our Worcester kitchen remodel. Of the 3 plumbers I met with, he was the most professional and had the best price (and was on budget). Learned about Josh from my friend justin with hvac experts. I had a meet and greet with him, and hired him to do my rough in plumbing, water heaters, and finish plumbing. Overall my experience with Josh was positive. All the pipes were ran neatly, straight, and clean. He also insulated the hot water lines, and installed a whole house water filter. His price per fixture is the best for the service provided. I will recommend him to anyone who needs a plumber, and if your reading this i recommend you strongly consider hiring him for your next job.

Called Josh over to unclog the main sewer line at my house. He arrived on time, was very professional, courteous, and patient while I made room for him to get where he needed to get the job done. He snaked the line, grabbed some roots, we tested the toilets many times, at his request, and he was out of here. Josh is worth his weight in gold, the next time I need a plumber, I won’t call anyone else.

Blown away with the service and the communication. BUT, most importantly the honesty. Josh was really great. I had 2 other plumbers look at this problem only to tell me the Units were discontinued and I needed to replace them. Come to find out these were very much still in production and very quality units. Josh diagnosed the issues quickly and examined it to me in a way that made sence.
Then instead of disappearing, he called me 2 weeks later to make sure everything was still operating correctly.
Top notch company and a top not guy!! I cant recommend them enough.

UPDATE: 04/11/2017 - Discovered a small gas leak, not related to the recent service. Josh and Greg were able to quickly respond and determine the source of the leaks. Problem resolved. Thank you again guys!

UPDATE: 11/13/2025 - discovered I had a small leak inside my wall that went all the way to my basement. Josh and Jake were able to come out quickly, troubleshoot the issue and have a plan in place to resolve it quickly. They made the repairs with minimal demo, which is amazing! Water heater finally gave out on a Friday morning. Called Josh around 9:30 am. and he was at our house by 11am. He told us our options, costs of each and with no pressure let us decide. We went with an energy efficient tankless heater with a 25 year warranty! Josh and his helper Marcus worked late into the day to get the job done that same day!
Can't recommend them enough!

Above and Beyond Plumbing and Heating has come to my rescue a couple of times over the last few weeks when I had problems with my high efficiency boiler. Josh was quick to respond to my calls and made time for me even when his day was already booked. He was very professional and took the time to troubleshoot the problems with the complicated electronics of these high efficiency boilers. I will definitely use his service again and highly recommend to anyone needing help with their heating system.

Josh is very quick to respond to a call, he’s been able to get to my house 2x in the last 2 weeks for leaking shut off valves. He and his associate Marcus also assisted with a cold/hot water issue we had in both bathrooms. They also made a run to Connecticut to help out my mother with a well filtration issue. Very courteous, polite, extremely punctual and they do clean work. We will be calling Above and Beyond for all our plumbing issues/projects moving forward.

I used Josh for two jobs, a water heater, and a leaking shower at an apartment I own. He could have made a big deal out of the shower leak and replaced the faucet, but instead Josh replaced the valve stem in short order. Josh noticed one of the water heaters was leaking in the basement and offered a fair estimate. Both jobs were done quite promptly and with great courtesy. You should make use of this gentleman’s services when needed.
