We are so pleased with our experience with Garden Central. Scott is a real professional. He met with us for an assessment and estimate quickly, and we had our new row of beautiful arborvitae planted within a few weeks. Very quick service. And he thoroughly explained how to care for the trees as well. We would definitely recommend Garden Central for your landscaping needs!

Loved working with Scott! From the design consult to the implementation, the process was flawless. He is professional, very knowledgeable, and most of all one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. His communication was excellent. He and his crew were punctual, and did quality work. Scott was very open to questions and suggestions. He took the time to explain his recommendations and once the landscaping was installed, spent time making sure we understood how to take care of our new plantings. The quality of the plants he used was excellent. I highly recommend him and will definitely use him again for any landscaping needs.

Finally stopped by here after passing it so many times because I saw the native plant sign. They have so many natives and the employees and owner are wonderful and will even offer to order plants they don’t have stock. They grow some of their natives from seed and source other hard to get ones, like sweet pepperbush, from other growers. My new favorite garden center!

I found Scott and Garden Central using good old Goggle and gave him a call. I explained to him that I had a bit of an emergency (I had a new patio installed and the surrounding area was now a muddy mess in which our dog thought was his new play area) Scott came over within the hour and I explained that i needed a slope graded and sod installed. He measured up everything and in a few minutes came back with a quote. Although it was a bit more than I expected, I asked him when they could get over to do it. Scott explained that he had a large job they were doing in the area but could pull a few guys off to get us done. I was surprised when he said it would be done by the time I got home from work tomorrow! Sure enough, Scott was just cleaning up when i pulled up. We couldn't be happier! They did a great job and I would use Garden Central again on other projects.

Scott, the owner, made a few trips to our house, listened to what we wanted to do, made some great suggestions, and got the job done much sooner than we had anticipated. Can't comment on price, because after we met with him, we knew we wanted to work with him. Didn't even look anywhere else.

I really want to give 3.5 stars, but I rounded it up. They have a lot of the same plants this place in Waterford has, but they charge twice the price. The guy there was helpful and he seemed very knowledgeable. However, he was a bit too helpful. It's almost like he didn't want to let my mom and I out of his sight. I didn't want to leave empty handed, so I grabbed a wild berry cone flower from outside the gate and was headed back in. Before I could even fully make it back into the entrance, here comes the guy headed in our direction. It just seemed a bit odd how we couldn't feel free to look around without him popping up all over the place.

My rating is strictly based on their flower selection and high prices. Even though my mom also noticed that he was always present, I have no proof that he is prejudice.

Sparse and expensive selection. I’ll check back later in the season...
