We hired Modern Tree & Landscape for a landscaping project at our home in Birmingham. couldn’t be happier with the results. Michael came out for the for the original conciliation he listened to what we want and made some amazing suggestions. About a week later he sent out a landscape design to help us visualize the project. The team that came out to install the Arborvitaes hydrangeas and some perennials were professional, hardworking, and paid attention to every detail.

If you’re looking for a reliable landscaping company, I highly recommend Modern Tree & Landscape. Our yard looks incredible and we’ve already had several neighbors ask who did the work!

We have used Mike and his team for several years now, both for landscape design and now annual maintenance. He just wrapped our 2026 service and the yard looks amazing. New mulch, aeration, new spaded edges, all shrubs and plants trimmed up and general spring clean up. Very fair pricing as well. Cannot recommend enough!

Big thanks to Modern Tree and Landscape and owner Michael for the professional replacement of a few dead mature boxwoods throughout several different hedges at our home. The new shrubs matched in extremely well, the work was clean and efficient, and the entire process was easy from start to finish. Really appreciate the attention to detail and quality work. Wonderful to work with. 3 invasive trees removed. Invasive trees sprouts removed hiding in the garden. Side yard leveled and refilled with topsoil. And planter boxes filled to the brim with new soil.

I had a tree removed from my back yard by them. They were great!!! Very clean and quick workers. The owner Micheal is also very friendly and knowledgeable.

Had my front yard landscaped. All the old shrubs were removed, new design, all new plants were planted. All new top soil, mulch, and boulders. I also had some tree trimming completed in my backyard. Job was completed in a timely manner. Very happy with the results!!

I've used this company twice now. Michael did my backyard a few years ago. Planted a privacy area for me with arborvites and Annabelle hydrangeas. Loved my backyard! Just had them back to refo the landscaping in my front yard. Another beautiful job!

Modern Tree has came out twice to my house. First time, they came out to clean up a big dead branch that fall in my yard. Second time, they came out and trimmed up some branches around my wires in my backyard and trimmed some branches that hanging over my roof. Also cut down a big tree branch that was hanging over my driveway. Modern tree did a great job and I was impress with their work and customer service. I would use them again in the future!
