AJ is very knowledgeable about yards. He will share his knowledge with you. He is extremely good at what he does. Maybe a little perfectionist. He will keep you informed about when he will be there and how long it will take, to get it done. Will have him come back if ever needed.

AJ removed some shrubs for us just when he was getting up and running. Overall it was a positive experience. Great communication and affordable pricing. We plan on consulting with him for actual landscaping once we finish fencing.

I would highly recommend Schafer Landscaping! I hired them to clear out a large area of thick raspberry bushes in my backyard; they were super quick and the cost was very fair for the amount of work it must’ve taken. I will definitely use them again in the future!

This was a small job for AJ (leveling some small pavers). He was willing to take it on if we were in no hurry & he could fit it in when he could. He was worth the wait, ended up being a 2 day job (instead of 1) and he took the time to remove unneeded sand and haul & add the proper drainage underneath. He reworked & reworked the pavers so we did not have large gaps. We love it & would highly recommend him. Thank you again AJ….you rock!

AJ was wonderful to work with! We had a huge eyesore at the edge of our property that ruined the view from our patio. We contacted Schafer Landscaping and AJ came out within a couple of days to discuss the creation of a natural screen/wall of arbor vitae with us. He was also willing to do some re-mulching of a large garden bed, as well as removal of some unwanted foliage. He kept in frequent contact with us as our project date crept closer, and throughout the actual design and landscaping he was in constant contact. The project was AMAZINGLY done, with incredible focus on detail. It came in under-budget and AJ was transparent every step of the way. My wife and I are thrilled with how everything turned out and we would absolutely recommend Schafer Landscaping to anyone with landscaping design needs!

AJ took my vague vision, asked questions, proposed a design, then made it happen—all within my cost specifications. He has an eye for both aesthetic form and practical function—key aspects of quality landscape design. The outcome has been fantastic—highly recommended.

The Owner AJ was very nice!!! I had some landscaping that I’ve been wanting to take care of (three bushes) and put in oriental grass instead!

He just finished another project and headed over to our hose right after, I’m sure he was tired but kept being personal and got our job done.

"BUCK CREEK BEAUTY"
I'm still in awe every time I look out my window! And when I step onto my patio..I'm transported into this magical place,surrounded by beauty and tranquility. I walk down the hand chiseled pathway to the uniquely colorful stones used to create a wall that is reinforcing our embankment. The path takes me past an assortment of lush green bushes,with splashes of vibrant and colorful flowers and plants..entwined among eye catching boulders and stones. I must mention my stunning Green Lace Japanese Maple that A.J found for us..which is the focal point of my Amazing dry creek bed! We have an assortment of really pretty and functional plants to help stop the erosion on our creek embankment, and some produce berry's that our many birds will enjoy for years to come. We had A.J build a new retaining wall for us, that will also last for years to come. lol..I have a really nice Dogwood tree and a couple of very striking boulders in that section. A.J pruned our old Apple tree and I swear it brought the old girl back to life!! He also went above and beyond to accommodate any requests we asked of him. And for the finishing touch he laid down black mulch, which makes our backyard "pop " !! I could not have a bad day sitting out here if I tried! I cannot say enough about the phenomenal job A.J has done!! He kept in constant touch with us every step of the way, which we really appreciated. He listened to our thoughts and ideas, and like the true Artist he is..made them come to life! So,as I sit here listening to the relaxing sounds of nature..watching my beautiful flowers and plants swaying as a gentle breeze blows across the creek..I say..Thank You A.J, for creating our very own Heaven on Earth!! We love our new bed in front of our house. Our neighbors were using our front yard as their driveway. I explained the situation to AJ and he created a dramatic landscape to eliminate the issue. It looks fantastic! Thank you for doing a timely quality job!
