We needed a very large pine tree in our backyard removed that was very close to our house and pool. Josh at Great Lakes Tree Service gave us an estimate and set a date. They took the tree down and cleaned up before they left. They are very professional. They did a great job and we would refer them to anyone.

We had a tree that had to be removed from our backyard so we obtained quotes from several local companies. Great Lakes Tree Service was incredibly easy to work with, was very professional, and had competitive prices.They did a fantastic job removing our tree and stump. There was another tree nearby that needed to have a limb removed, and they quickly and easily took care of this as well. I would highly recommend considering Great Lakes Tree Service for your needs.

I highly recommend Great Lakes tree service!! Josh came out and gave an estimate the same day that I called. They did a fantastic job removing several large trees , grinding stumps and cleaning up for an unbeatable price! I would definitely use them again and will tell all my friends.

They did an excellent job from start to finish. They were very responsive and got me on the schedule quickly. Everyone was friendly and professional. They took the time to walk through before during and after to make sure everything was meeting expectations. I highly recommend them.

This company is great. I called around for quotes and they were by far the best price. The crew showed up and attacked the tree with precision and professionalism. The yard was protected with steel plate to prevent damage, which was much appreciated. Clean up was amazing. Not a scrap of pine cone, tree limb or shaving was left behind. I will be recommending them to any who asks.

They were able to remove two awkwardly placed trees that were in danger of falling, and did so quickly, cleanly, and safely. They communicated well about pricing, timing, and service. The crew left my yard and driveway cleaner than they found it. They were friendly, hard working, and thorough.

Josh and Nick were great! They arrived on time and finished before expected in taking down a huge tree that was in a tight location. They are friendly, hardworking and efficient. They crew protected the grass with plywood planks, cleaned the location so no extra sticks or limbs were left behind and were very professional. I highly recommend them and plan on using them again.

We asked Great Lakes to take out a large oak tree, grind the stump, and cleanup afterward. Their contact person, Nick, was super friendly and knowledgeable, and he gave me a very competitive price. They showed up on time with lots of men and great equipment and took care of the job efficiently. They also cleaned up well afterward. I was very pleased with their work, would use their services again, and would recommend them to others.

For starters, Great Lakes got back to me when others did not. Abby was easy to work with and is truly an asset to the company. The GL crew was prompt and professional when coming out to take down a large silver maple and a smaller tree plus two overgrown shrubs. They were done in about 2.5 hours; each worker had a job and they got right to it. They cleaned up my yard afterwards as well as I would have if not better.
I highly recommend them. I’m glad the other tree removal companies didn’t call me back; they were the best.

We had an over 100 year old white oak tree in our front yard, up close to the house and garage which was dying, falling apart and damaging our driveway. We had someone come out last year February, who made a disasterous attempt to take the tree down. He left us a big mess with the little bit he did which took him 3 days to do.

So we contacted Great Lakes Tree Service, they came out, looked at the tree and was very confident they could take care of us. They came out with all their specialty equipment and multiple staff members. In 4 hours they had the tree down, stumps removed, and the yard cleaned better than when they arrived. I am super impressed!! I was so scared simply because of what we experienced with the first guy, who claimed to be a professional and stated he did "huge white oak trees like ours all the time".

You will not be disappointed in the service this company provides! I am so happy, with the service we received.

I am requesting for them to take care of another one of our over 100 year old white oaks in our back yard.

GLTS took down two very tall dead trees that were very close to my garage and neighbor’s fence. They handled this job confidently, safely and with no issues and no damage to garage or fence. They stacked branches and trunks to my instructions so that I could prepare them for firewood. They were onsite for two hours and cleaned up very well. I am very happy that I hired them for my job.

This is the second time that we have had work done, once again we were totally pleased with the results! These guys are likely the best in our area. Thanks again for all your hard work!

Great Lakes Tree Service was amazingly responsive when I requested the quote. When they removed the tree they were quick, efficient, and the clean-up was amazing. The crew was friendly and respectful. We would hire them again and highly recommend them.

Called four companies looking for quotes to remove a large maple tree and stump grinding only three gave quotes and Great Lakes Tree Service came in as the lowest quote. Great Lakes Tree Service was able to complete the work the same week as the quote! Josh was great at communication. The crew was fantastic, leaving my driveway and yard clean of branches and wood chips. I would highly recommend this company!!

After cutting down some trees on our own, my husband and I needed the stumps removed. Our plan was to clear out the wooded area in our lot, even it out, and grass it for a larger yard. After attempting to remove one stump ourselves, we decided we needed some help. I do not regret contacting Great Lakes Tree Service at all. Josh was extremely pleasant to work with; very responsive to emails, prompt, and quick to let us know when a change was needed in scheduling. They came out and looked at our property the day of to quote the job and my husband and I were very pleased with the affordability of the quote. I appreciated how up front they were with their expectations and how they charge. We were even more thrilled with the work that was done. Roughly 18 stumps were removed and we are now able to move forward with evening out and grassing our yard. We have some larger trees over our home that eventually will need taken out, or trimmed back. After seeing the results of their work from this job, we will not hesitate to contact them again for our future tree related needs.

Had to have one large old damaged tree and one large stump removed including grinding down the stumps and removing the shavings. Got quotes from three local companies. Great Lakes was very quick to respond and the quote was certainly reasonable. Everyone from the office staff to the crew were wonderful to work with, patiently answered my many questions, got the work done quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up my lawn more than I would have expected. Thank y’all for your efforts! The whole day went great! The guys arrived a bit before 8.30am and, after walking the property to get a plan together, they proceeded to attack the job with efficiency and vigor. The radio headsets used really helped to enhance the safety (which is important for this type of work) and the other equipment was modern and appropriate. All round, there were a lot of trees to remove and that was done to perfection right down to the stump-grinding. The trimming of several big trees was also completed and they look fantastic.

I hired Great Lakes Tree Service primarily because they responded almost immediately. Abby, the office person, is polite and professional. I asked for pricing breakdown for two trees and stump removal. We are very happy with the work they did. I would definitely use them for future needs. I also contacted another tree service. They responded after Great Lakes already completed the job. Good job Great Lakes for responding quickly and communicating well!
