I don’t normally leave reviews but I’m going to today, I couldn’t be more happy with the service this company provided, getting me all fixed up and going again. Highly recommended

If you're tired of losing your power especially in the Winter and are thinking about installing a high quality Generac standby generator let me share this. If you want a crew that may or may not show up on time and makes a mess in your house, garage and yard then don't call Korthase & Sons. If you don't mind the installation crew stopping to go buy parts from the hardware store or run to the shop for a tool, don't call Korthase & Sons. If you're okay waiting a day for a return call from somebody who can't answer your question anyway then don't call Korthase & Sons.

But if you want a professional polite crew with trailers that look like hardware stores inside, well maintained and clean vehicles, thoroughly clean up after they leave, politely advise you on the installation progress, the operation of the generator and switches and always show up when they say they will, then call Korthase & Sons. They are the best I've dealt with here in Michigan and a bonus is their pricing. They come out walk the job, measure and give you a price, a price they honor. No add ons for the guy who had to run to the hardware store or shop for a tool. There may be better companies but I've never found one and I've used three commercial firms in my shops

They installed two outdoor ceiling fans for us in less than two hours. Friendly workers who took the time to be sure we were satisfied. Definitely would use them again.

Jon was super professional and patient. He advised us of everything that we needed to do to switch to 5G mobile link, ordered the part and installed. He also performed scheduled maintenance on our Generac generator and did not leave until all our mobile devices registered and worked with the new 5G antenna on the generator. This included him calling Generac and making sure they have all the information transferred to the new service. We now will have the benefit of Korthase monitoring the performance of our generator remotely, which is huge! Jon was specific in advising us that if we wanted to be home when the service is performed on our generator in the future, all we need to do is ask to be put on the list of customers who prefer this type of service. Given our positive experience today and the fact that Korthase is a local company, we will seek to use them for all of our electrical service and needs!

They designed a great lighting plan for a new outbuilding, installed outlets and lights. Professional and polite. Will use again for the next project.
