Dan and his team were incredible. Dan had previously installed a breaker box at our house for a new hot tub. It had been a number of years since that time (his good work still sound without issue), but the most recent severe storm that brought significant flooding in Grand Rapids knocked the breaker out to the spa. I tried everything I knew to correct the issue, but when my knowledge was exhausted, I called the installer. It was a typical crummy spring Michigan day with flurries and high winds, but Dan and his team came out to review the circuit. It ended up being a simple adjustment on the hot tub, but he came despite the weather, checked and ultimately fixed the issue, not charging for the visit as there was nothing wrong with the electrical work. The fact that he came out and evaluated the issue and did not charge for a simple fix demonstrates not only the good work that Dan does which holds up over time, but also the honesty and integrity he exemplified on the job.

Dan and The Power Company are nothing short of AMAZING! I have actually worked with them for over 10 years and they are humble, honest, and very experienced with electrical. Quality work in a timely fashion, every single time.

They hooked up a standby generator and got our Daughter's working again. I would definitely use them again.

Dan and his team have done several jobs for us. From fixing outlets and light-switches to adding ceiling fans and rewiring parts of the house. Always great to work with, and always able to get the job done. HIGHLY recommended if you need anything electrical done!

Had my older home renovated and they completely rewired my house including sockets and switches they added tract lights and recessed lights as well as fans in several rooms. They also wired the new 3 stall garage including door openers. The wired my new enclosed deck with lights and ceiling fans that give it an industrial look we love it

You call and he answers or calls right back, shows up the soonest he can, ready to do the work and with a friendly couple of guys so they can be in and out like ninjas. Already recommended him to a friend for electrical work as they are finishing their basement.

Dan was amazing! We was dealing with lights flickering and randomly shutting off. Called Consumer energy and another Electrician company, both couldn't help me figure out the problem. Explained the problem to Dan over the phone and within seconds he helped me figured out the problem. I would definitely recommend him and his team.

When I moved to MI 13 years ago I needed an electrician to rewire my old home in SE GR. Dan and his team did the work. They were professional and didn't overcharge me for the work they did and stuck to the quote they provided. After the initial work being completed, I would call on Dan and his company to do the electrical work in my house, like adding another outlet, etc. Fast forward to 2020, when we moved to the next town over, I called Dan and had him rewire and add additional lighting and outlets in another old home. Same concept - professional, on time and always pleasant. When I opened my store front in downtown Grandville, I called Dan and he and his team showed up and completed the work and on deadline. I had a couple of small things I wanted to change before the store opened, and they were there to help. I will always call The Power Company for my electrical needs.

I recently bought a home in Lowell, Michigan. Built in 1972, it needed many repairs and upgrades by professional servicemen. The flipper who to sold it to the homeowners before me was NOT an knowledgable electrician.

I called Dan Candela at The Power Company to come to my new home and assess the situation. He came out the very next day, and gave me an estimate for materials and labor.

One week later, he and his two sons fixed EVERYTHING in four hours of work. No bickering, no breaks, just about 30 or more electrical chores done and done. And all to Code. Wow!

These guys are worth every dollar! I feel secure after their work, and happy.

Dan and his crew are a fantastic for any of your electrical needs whether it’s a full remodel or one off requests. They are knowledgeable, always look for opportunities to provide input on electrical best practices and or experiences in your home, and always clean up after the completion of their activities.

We’ve been using them for the last 5 years for a completion of a basement and a recently added addition to our home. We’ve never experienced any issues with getting permits approved as a result of their quality workmanship.

Dan Candela and sons upgraded our residential electric service and did several other interior electrical jobs over the last 2 days. Dan was patient when I added tasks and when I changed my mind about some interior lighting. He and his 2 sons spotted some issues in our 1961 house that weren't safe or up to code and fixed them: electrical wires too close to the roof (touching the snow on the roof), an outdoor outlet not GFCI, a bare wire in the attic. The cost was close to the estimate despite some add on jobs. Dan helped in assessing some attic insulation issues, planned ahead for future electrical needs and coordinated with an HVAC team. I would definitely call on this team again and recommend them. I did need to do some cleanup afterward; the garage had a lot of boxes, old fixtures, bits of electrical supplies but I expected some of that.

Dan and his team installed a Level 2 charger in our garage and relocated an outlet in a bathroom. They came in just a day after providing a quote and did both jobs in about an hour. Their price was below other electricians and their timeline was much faster. Great service.

Well it started about two years ago when we bough this fixer upper outside of Sparta. We were moving from out of state and realized when we arrived we needed a high amount of outlets changed. I heard about The Power Company from Fox Pools as I also needed my pool worked on.

Dan and his crew came over two days after I moved in and replaced all my plugs and we just chatted about other jobs we would have in the future. His crew shows up on time and always on the day they say they will. Dan and his amazing crew have done wonders to our house and kept our family safe when we really needed it.

Last Friday, (8/8/24), Once again my house needed yet again another electrical upgrade including a new main panel and the whole run of checks and double checks (including a pretty sizable check I gave him lol). Dan came over in 2 days to completely replace it. The day before, Dans son came over and helped give us 100 amps of power for the next day before they could come out.

Amazing company. Always on time, reasonable pricing and extremely high quality work. They reworked my main service, installed a sub panel and a hot tub. Nice approachable team and you can just tell they are honest. I didn’t tell them that my dad is a licensed electrician and I have a fair amount of experience myself. I admit I pulled the panel covers to see how particular they were. Picture perfect and installed with care. Big or small job, they treat them all the same.

Dan and his crew did an amazing job with our project. We had our entire 1950’s era home updated with all new wiring, light switches and outlets, as well as add new lighting in our basement.

The job was large, spanning over multiple days, and I couldn’t be happier with the work. They have provided both functionality and safety to our home. There aren’t enough good things to say, I highly recommend them.

Get a quote! I did not because of a recommendation from a trusted source. Brought 5 guys to do a 1-2 person job. When I asked how labor was calculated I was told that it was based on the price of materials, which also happen to be skyrocketing in price, so that makes zero sense. Admitted to charging me $125 for materials that cost them $70 and I was easily able to locate locally for less than $40. Drilled through a very visible and brand new refrigerant line. I feel that I was greatly overcharged and I have discussed this with a number of other professionals who agree.
