Sam was prompt in returning my phone call and was even able to get onsite same day to review our problem. He was able to find the problem and even helped point me in the direction of an electrician to help, because it the problem was outside his services. Appreciate his willingness to help.

Sam made the unenviable task of replacing the full septic and drain field much more tolerable than expected. Clear and easy communication throughout, outstanding professionalism, and a great final result. I’d absolutely recommend Sam and his team.

They’re simply aren’t enough superlatives to describe how professional and productive Sam and his team were! They were simply fantastic, and we were very pleased with the demolition and the grading of our property. So much so that as we build our new house, the new builder was selected with the expectation he would employ Sam and his team to begin the project. This week we had Shear do some landscaping for us. Work was done in a very timely manner and work was very meticulously done.

Sam did an amazing job!!! He put in a new dry well in for us. He even put grass seed and straw down when he was done. Who does that. Excellent job Thanks again Sam

Shear Outdoors recently completed some property grading and two boulder walls, including drainage tiling. They showed up when they said they would and did the job efficiently. It's getting harder and harder to find trustworthy and competent people, but Sam at Shear Outdoors is one of the good ones, and I will use their services again when needed.

Sam and his team did a great job leveling out a fairly large area in our back yard for a playset. He was very communicative and punctual and his team did a great job cleaning up the area after the work was done. I would definitely recommend him for outdoor work!

Shear responded the same day to a bid request for a very difficult Septic project. They handled the required health department work.
Coordinated necessary tree work that other contractors said couldn't be done for weeks. Once approval came thru work commenced seems like it was nonstop for three days. New field was installed 150' run was dug and completed. Approval came at 3PM. They stayed to get things working and completed the cleanup seeding, leveling, debris removal, the next day. It was expensive but I felt it was worth every dollar. Highly recommend Sam and his team.

Shear was great! Very communicative. Did a site visit and had a very competitive quote to me the day I reached out, and was really communicative about timing and everything.

Ended up getting two new septic tanks and a new drain field and everything looks great. Was super responsive, flexible, and understanding.

Sam and his team did an excellent job of transforming my yard into the perfect place for my kids to get out and play - just in time for summer. From initial consultation to the completion of the project, Sam was communicative and thorough. I'm so excited to have what was once a source of stress become our favorite place to be as a family!

We've used Shear Outdoors twice and really liked them both times; Sam was great! They took out our old septic tank, installed two new ones, leveled the ground, and put the yard back together for us. Their pricing was competitive and they were able to get us in quickly when we needed them. Cannot recommend them highly enough!

Sam is experienced and skilled. He’s very proficient at using his machinery, getting the job done and protecting areas that you do not want disturbed. The start and end time were on target. The estimate was detailed and on the mark. What stands out the most for me in this experience is Sam himself: his work ethic, integrity, and respect for the homeowner.

Shear Outdoors installed a large custom septic system for us at the airport. Was a bit of a unique install as it was designed to be shared for a number of new aircraft hangars. Communication and estimating was done quickly and efficiently. Work was done on-time and for the estimated cost and the crew left the site cleaned up and looking great! Best case scenario when working with a construction vendor like this. Thanks!

Shear Outdoors did a great job for us this week in Rockford, MI. Our septic tank caved in. They came out the morning that I called for a visit to review the condition. They helped guide us thru the emergency situation. They planned the work and executed quickly. After our new tanks were installed and passed inspection they brought our backyard up to grade, reseeded the lawn and covered with straw. I fully recommend them
