For three years this company has been servicing my yard all through the summer and winter, along with all of my neighbors. They have been nothing but fantastic. Always going above and beyond, not to mention, busting their backs, to make our yards look so nice.

Craig runs a good company, one he should be proud of. Derek and I got off to a rocky start 2 years ago, this past spring/summer I’ve learned to just leave him alone to do his job as he sees fit and he does do a good job.
The only issues I’ve seen are
1) folks watering schedules, some days it’s taken him longer to cut folks grass and he runs into people having their sprinkles on. He tries to keep to his schedule and gets upset when he can’t. This is also true when the grass is wet, he’s got to mow it regardless, so he can keep to his schedule.
2) fall and spring cleanup this past year, the Meadowview entrance and also along Preservation, he and his team just blew the bulk of the leaves off to the side rather than actually picking them up. I walk these areas twice or three times a day with my dog. F&S was just here to cleanup the Meadowview entrance again (mid December) but if you look along the edges (the wood line), you’ll see about a foot of leaves and dead branches that they didn’t pick up, not in March/April, not in November, nor December.

They were contracted to mow and plow our subdivision. They were consistent, timely, and did the job well. Of course there were times where something was missed (just like when I used to mow my own lawn, and missed things here and there) - but that was an outlier.
Derek who did our actual mowing was steady, reliable, consistent, and nice to talk to on the few occasions we interacted.
(also...it's come to our attention that others in our neighborhood were complaining to them a lot...and I would simply disregard those as people who will just never be happy...they really were great to work with!)

The guys and gals that work for this company have made My yard look amazing! From those who laid the sod, to the guys who installed and maintained the sprinkler system, to Derek and the amazing job he always did on our lawn, to Matty and his help with weed control and the informative way he instructed me on the plant/wildlife surrounding our home ... I just appreciated every single one of you! These folks were the absolute best and the work they have done at our home is greatly appreciated.

Want to thank Craig and especially his crew on the planting of Trees near our home in Bonner Hills at the corner of Meadowview and Ridgeview Drive, my Wife Renee and I ( Mike) enjoyed watching the whole project from start to finish, very professional, look forward to watching these beauties of mother nature grow through the years, again, thank you all involved for a very professional job indeed !!

We found F and S to be an honest company which does quality work at reasonable prices. However, we left F and S for another landscaping company because we had several calls and messages that went unreturned on priority matters. We gave the company a second chance when this issue first occurred; however the pattern continued. Like F and S, our new landscaping company is also very busy; but the owner is always prompt to return messages; and if he is not immediately available, he'll let us know what date he will be able to meet or talk.

They came October 6 2023 and left a complete mess! Pictures taken 10 minutes after they reportedly mowed/mulched grass! Unresponsive to calls by owner to resolve.

Never heard back from them!

Called for a estimate a few times . Said they would call back and never did smh
