I have had Nathan and his team out to my home a few different times over the years. Most recently I had a toilet that had some issues. While he was here Nathan also gave me an estimate to replace multiple shut off valves. He was able to replace the shut off valves and replace a toilet that resulted in a few unforeseen issues and did excellent work going above and beyond when it was noticed the toilet flange was broken and needing to fix part of the tile under the toilet. I have a relationship with a plumbing, heating, electrical, and AC company but would recommend Service Star above all other companies.

We had a somewhat emergent plumbing issue. Service Star was able to come out right away & fixed the problem the same day. Nathan was very personable & gave us good information.

Nathan and Josh were awesome! They came to fix a leak with our tub in our new bathroom
that we had spent weeks trying to troubleshoot. Nathan and Josh were able to get it FIXED quickly. They later discovered our water heater was 20+ years old and gave us a great no pressure option to get it done the next day and did not charge us for the leak repair. I recommend them for their knowledge, fair price and friendliness!

Nathan and team ran a gas line for a garage heater - looking forward to a warm winter! It was a great experience and will defiantly call on Nathan for additional plumbing projects.

I need a plumber to disconnect the gas line on my kitchen range as I was switching to an electric range. Wanted a plumber familiar with servicing Brooklyn Park. My google search lead me to pick Service Star Plumbing to come out and give me an estimate. From the first phone call, to the text update that they were on their way, I felt I had chosen a company that cares about their customer. The inspection/quote, lead to the work actually getting done same day. Great communication, great knowledge of what needed to be done and super satisfied with Service Star Plumbing. Nathan also quoted that same day other work I need done, to I'll be having then comeback when I ready for the kitchen sink to be changed out and garbage disposal added.

I had an excellent experience with Nathan from Service Star Plumbing. He was extremely professional from start to finish, quickly diagnosing the issue with my water heater and getting it fixed at a very reasonable cost. What really stood out was how informative he was throughout the process. He took the time to explain what went wrong and walked me through how to properly maintain the water heater going forward to help avoid future problems. It’s rare to find someone who not only does quality work but also genuinely cares about educating the customer. Remove and replace galvanized drain and vent pipes. 3 different options to remedy the situation. Great guy, quick work, zero complaints. Would call again in the future

Great work and was able to do the job right away!! He even came back after my new shower tile was done to hook up the hardware with no additional charge. I’ll be using these guys for all my plumbing needs going forward!

I had two old toilets that needed replacement. I called Services Star Plumbing and they came in to assess them and recommended me to replace both toilets as they were 10 plus years old. They also send a snake down the pipes.

We had an unexpected leak that needed to be repaired in our basement. Service was quick and all our options and costs were outlined before any work began. Highly recommended!

Kurt came out and estimated various projects related to our gas piping. The diagnosis and design were complex and Kurt did an excellent job of explaining the options and the cost for each of the different approaches. It turns out that I need to get Centerpoint to upgrade my meter and service line 1st. Centerpoint came this week, and installed a new higher-capacity, high-pressure gas meter. They were great to work with. Then Kurt of Service Star returned at noon to reconnect the house to gas and install a few regulators. Kurt also hooked up our Culligan water system to our refrigerator drinking water and ice maker. He had to get very creative to do that without tearing up the house. I am extremely pleased with Kurt's work. He is friendly, smart, creative, collaborative. And does meticulous plumbing work. I don't want gas leaks or water leaks. And he's very thorough. I recommend Service Start without any reservation.

June 2025,
now we are in a new house and Nathan came out to clear a clogged drain and install a new faucet. He also freely advised me on some potential future work. He did great work and provided a good review of the plumbing. I love working with Service Star.

July 2025
Nathan came out again and installed a bidet and a vanity. He did careful leak testing of the bidet and found an internal leak from the factory. He corrected it even though he had never worked on a unit like that one. On another note, we did not realize the vanity had to be assembled. But he did it cheerfully. Another job well-done.

Nathan and his team were great. Professional, friendly, and fast work! I’ll definitely hire them again for future projects.
