Installers showed up when they said they would. Was a painless experience for us to have a new furnace and air conditioner installed with the old one hauled away. Quality system. City inspector commented on what an excellent job they did on the install, that you dont always see things installed as good as they did.

Last month we discovered that our Air Conditioner was broken. Unusually the beginning of June was very hot. We looked up online and called The Golden Valley Heating and Air because of their good review. They told us there was a waiting list. After waiting for a month, Heath (HS), one of their technicians came out and fixed our AC. He was very knowledgeable, efficient and very friendly. We really recommend this company to anyone who wants to fix their AC and it was worth waiting for.

AC stopped... just stopped. First service called couldn't figure out the problem. Web search showed Golden Valley Heating had a good reputation and was relatively local. Got appointment five days out. Technician arrived early in promised time window. Quickly found problem and replaced faulty component. He the recharged my system. The bill was way lower than I had expected. The system has worked fine in the five weeks since that visit.

We ordered a new furnace and AC unit. The installation went great and the guys doing the install were professional and really know what they were doing. I appreciated the call backs from the company on any issues and teir ability to file for the rebates for us. great Job !!!!!!!!!

The wait to get our HVAC quote was a couple of weeks and the work was scheduled 1 month out from that, so we had a bit of a wait which was a bummer (although it was middle of summer and sounds like all HVAC companies prioritize A/C installs now). Other than the wait though, the salesman who came out for the quote was great and the two guys who came out for the install were equally pleasant. The work looked good and the city inspector commented on the attention to detail of the work these guys had done with the install, which was reassuring. Overall, this was a good experience. I would use them again.

I called Golden Valley Heating & Air when a thermostat fuse and a capacitor on my AC unit blew. The technician showed up when promised and was able to diagnose the problems quickly. He was also very patient with my questions about proper care of the unit. I was really impressed with this company and I have their flyer permanently affixed to my fridge with a magnet. I recommend them highly!

I had them come in to do a tune up at the beginning of the first winter I owned my first house. He was quick, efficient and incredibly courteous. He utilized filters that were already there and even re-used a piece of scrap flex pipe I had to re-hook up the drain. It wasn't a huge cost savings but I appreciated him taking every effort to make it affordable. He also was able to educate me on my furnace, maintenance, and general heating and cooling information. Will definitely be calling again.

I’m 73 yrs old and have had service people repairing things for 50+ years. This outfit is the best I have ever had work on my stuff, pure & simple. I knew they would be from the minute I met their sales person ( who just happens to own the company too). Best price, great install team, very good products. What more can you ask for?

Purchased a new AC and furnace via Costco/Golden Valley HVAC. Doug was fantastic - no pressure, no nonsense. He actually tried to talk me into downsizing the AC unit (until he understood the thermal load of our home). A complete distinction from other major players in the Twin Cities. Installation was a breeze and very professional. Highly recommended.

The servicemen did an awesome job installing a new furnace and air conditioner! They were on time, finished on their expected end time, made sure each appliance worked well, cleaned up all debris and their workmanship was excellent! Will recommend to all our friends!

Golden Valley H&A is the most honest company I have hired in years! - we had another service company to our house, who told us our 10 year old, top of the line furnace was bad. We were shocked! Fortunately we got a second optimum. From GV H&A. He came out within an hour, quoted us for $1000 less than the competitor and said, that he knew they could fix it and didn’t think we needed a new one. His guy came 30 minutes later and fixed the furnace! We were so grateful we didn’t spend thousands on a new furnace. The fix?? Leaves were stuck inside. The other company was just trying to sell a furnace. Highly recommend calling them! They will be our first call always!

I don't usually find the time to write reviews and it's something that perhaps we all can get better at - because in this case, we have been incredibly pleased with Golden Valley Heating and all the effort you and your teams have dedicated to ensure our satisfaction.

From the beginning, you worked with us to understand systems within our price range, provided ample detail on rebates and cost savings. Provide administrative support to submit the rebates. Sent technicians over to help us balance the system after installation when we had difficulty. Allowed another technician to help us again when we struggled with system balance and season change, which they went out of their way to provide magnetic seals over vents as needed. And then, as of recently our damper broke when adjusting controls, which you team came to fix at no cost due to installation error previously. We have been incredibly pleased with your service and dedication.

Golden Valley HVAC team has an awesome group of professionals working there. My sales agent Dave was great! He quoted me properly and made good suggestions along the way. My schedule was made accordingly to my availability. Two technicians arrived on the day of installation and both were very professional and completed the job well. I did have to have another technician come to fix the outside furnace line after the inspection was completed by the city inspector. The lines were fixed very quickly by the GV team. I’d definitely recommend them to my friends and family members.

I purchased my new Air Conditioner through Costco and Golden Valley Heating & Air installed it. I worked with the Golden Valley Representative who came out and recommended the size I needed. They worked with me on disconnecting my old AC unit early so I could install a new cement pad and re-landscape the area for the new AC unit. The technician who removed the old unit & the installers who put in the new unit when all very professional, friendly, courteous and answered any questions I had. I would highly recommend Golden Valley Heating & Air.

We recently replaced our 21 yr old furnace and air conditioner. We settled on Golden Valley Heating & Air for three reasons: because we liked and trusted Doug, our salesman, they were able to provide a temporary Freon charge to hold us over the hot weather, and the low CostCo price. Our salesman answered our questions, gave solid advice, and was able to arrange the temporary Freon charge. Everyone at the front desk who answered our phone calls throughout the process was courteous, friendly, and helpful. Phil, the service technician who did the temporary Freon fill, was helpful, professional, and friendly. Shawn and Matt, the two technicians who installed in the new furnace and air conditioner, were both excellent. They replaced the vents and service lines, the furnace, and the AC and it looks great. All the joints are clean, all the pipes and hoses were artfully placed, and all the duct joints caulked and taped. The building inspectors commented how nice a job they did. Everyone we dealt with is a credit to Golden Valley Heating & Air. They took great care of us. They are a professional staff that does absolute great work. A great team top to bottom.

We can’t say enough about how good it has been to work with Golden Valley Heating and Air. They recommended the right equipment for our home, handled all permitting with the city, and even applied for the utility company rebate. The crew arrived when promised and knew exactly what had to be done for the installation. The sheet metal fabrication on-site was a work of art. And we are extremely pleased with how the new central air unit is working: quiet, effective and efficient. They even followed up to correct a small wiring glitch that was existing from the prior equipment installation. You can’t go wrong using this company as they are genuinely concerned with customer satisfaction and take pride in what they do.

We recently replaced our 46-year old 'still fully functioning' Lennox air-conditioner and a 15-year old furnace since we wanted to get a much more efficient system. We also got a new garage heater. I also wanted to connect my Aprilaire humidifier to my ecobee so I could control the heat & humidity together and not cause too much condensation in the attic, for example.

I worked closely with Jarod on equipment selection as well as the thermostat integration. He patiently worked to answer all questions as well as researched online the unusual request I had.

I was very pleased with his professionalism and ability to figure out new technical challenges. The work was completed on time. All the piping was routed neatly (better than what I had previously) and they left the place clean.

We also ran into a garage heater location challenge and the team worked patiently to meet our needs including relocating the attic access to do so.

In the end, I would recommend them without any reservations. I wish other contractors were like them.

These guys were great. Didn't try to oversell me on extras I didn't need or didn't fit with my house. The techs were perfectly on time and got everything done quickly and then gave me a very thorough overview of the new system they installed. They even did a great job cleaning up before they left. Will definitely be using their services in the future.

We received 4 quotes for buying a new AC and Furnace, we chose Golden Valley based on their presentation, a referral, and that their price was competitive. The installation went very well and we are very pleased with our choice of Golden Valley Heating. They also submitted all the paperwork for our rebates and kept us informed of the process and what we could expect. I would highly recommend this company.
