Chad and Ryan from Capital City are the most honorable, easy to work with general contractors out there. They delivered a quality product, on time, on budget, and went the extra mile numerous times to ensure we were happy customers. Their prices are fair and the quality is great. Plus their crews are courteous, clean up after themselves, and know what they are doing. I would definitely recommend them, and I have, for small and large jobs around the home. We couldn't be happier and I hope to use them again sometime.

Chad Harrington with Capital City Construction did a complete remodel on a flip home for me and saved the day! They did a fantastic job and most importantly, I didn't have to babysit them. I left the project in their hands from beginning to end and made very few decisions with very little job oversight. I would definitely use them again and recommend them highly to anyone interested in remodeling their home.

The team at Capital City were great to work with not only on our mold remediation project but also helping with other projects at the house. With three young kids it was critical to have the mold issue properly mitigated and Chad and the Capital City team did a fantastic job. I hope we do not have any other mold issues in future houses but if we do - Capital City will be our go to company. They also were super helpful with recommending other vendors in our home remodel project. Definitely recommend Capital City's services - they were reliable, on time, in budget and friendly.

We had a water leak on our ceiling. Jeremy visited promptly, explained our options, and answered all our questions. Matt did a great job with mold remediation, carefully sealing off the surrounding areas, explaining the process, and finishing the work on time. He left the worksite spotless! We highly recommend this company, and would not hesitate to hire them again.

This is an excellent company to work with, and I would highly recommend. I had black mold behind walls on 2 sides of lower level due to drainage issues. Chad was very responsive and detailed 2 projects that were completed in 2020. Involved mold mitigation, painting, ceramic tile and carpeting replacement throughout most of the lower level. Chad assisted in selecting high quality materials that fit home esthetic while keeping to my budget. Where necessary he brought in experts to address specific expertise. The results were better than I ever expected. Chad remained in contact throughout the project. The work crew leads (Halsten & Matt) were both terrific - prompt, very professional, meticulous and very clean. I am working with Capital City Construction again now to plan a couple work projects on the exterior of my home this spring.

Terrific company to work with. Had my exterior doors, storm doors, and service door replaced with Capital City. Chad was very responsive and walked us through every detail. He help us stay within our budget and provided us the best products available. Finished product far exceeded my expectations. Crew was prompt , clean and very professional. I will be using Capital City for all my home remodeling projects going forward!

We have had Capital City do 2 large projects with us over the past 4 years. The most recent that just finished was updating both of our bathrooms and adding patio doors to the house among a few other small projects in the house. It was a pretty extensive project as it involved updating most of the plumbing in our home as well as some changes to floor plan with moving/adding walls and changing HVAC. As we have come to expect they hit a grand slam and exceeded our expectations. Chad has a great crew and they all do great work. I couldn't recommend them enough to anyone looking for a great experience when doing a home project.

Capital City stepped in to help us out when their competitor made some poor decisions that caused our claim to be delayed for a water leak in our kitchen and basement. Capital City did an excellent job with the repairs, communicated though the whole process with us and the insurance company and completed the repairs in a very timely manner. Fernando did a great job with the painting.

Chad and his team did a wonderful job on some mold remediation and some remodeling. The communication was tremendous and i was always kept in the loop as to what was happening. Chad, Matt, Tom, Fernando and others were responsive, professional and polite. I would highly recommend Capital City for any project and they will definitely be my "go to" contractor for any future projects.

The team at Capital City that Jeremy brought to my home for endless projects did an amazing job. It was not a luxurious home renovation project, but rather a running 2 year project that was caused by unknown water damage and multiple levels of my home.

Jeremy ensured his entire team over delivered, treated my home like their own (in a good way), and were respectful while there (including a dealing with a very large crazy dog). They were flexible with their schedules over the course of a very daunting but crucial project in order to finally resolve all.

His team:
Jake - siding/window - replaced, addressed previous mistake from other owners, and spent due diligence on ensuring all issues were resolved.
Raphy - I'm ready to have him come back and redo ALL the trim and paint in my house, excellent job.
Matt - as with all water issues, Matt secured areas that had to be treated for mold, and did it timely and not to disrupt air quality from it beyond that area.
Glen - mudding & taping -- attention to detail and even fixing lazy mistakes of previous owners, and returned multiple times to ensure no issues appearing.
Sub-contractors: As the project continued over time and shifts were needed, Jeremy was able to provide reco's for additional people or willing to be on-site if I brought in someone to consult just to be sure they were capturing all that was needed for that scope.

Jeremy was personable, patient, and someone I could depend on that was going to be there until I was 100% completely happy w/ the completed job.
100% a happy and returning customer in the future. Hopefully this time for more "fun" projects.

Chad and his team were wonderful to work with from the initial design to the finished product. They were always on time, worked the entire day, their work was meticulous, no stone was left unturned to make us happy with the final project. They worked with us on minor project changes as needed. Each team member was very professional, courteous, and excellent at his or her part of the project, they explained the day’s job, asked appropriate questions before proceeding with a project. From framers, cement work, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, sheet rock and tapping, custom doors, custom stairwell, built in entertainment center, stacked stone fireplace, custom bathroom shower and glass door all met or exceeded our expectations, and we were completely satisfied. I would highly recommend Chad and his team at Capital City Construction and Remediation for any job you might have.

The foremost reason I'd recommend Capital City is their responsiveness. Chad gave us an estimate, we got a few others, and were going to choose another contractor for work. I told him this, but also asked if he'd be willing to do part of the job that the other contractor couldn't do. I was really pleased that he said 'yes.' Turns out we used Capital City for the whole job, and what a job it was! Long delays due to winter/spring, as well as figuring out what the heck was going on. Delays and problems are going to happen; how they are managed speaks to what kind of contractors/workers you have, and Chad and his team communicated very well with us. Matt did a lot of the work and we appreciated his care and attention to detail. Highly recommended.

After a spring basement flood that destroyed our walls and carpet, we had Capital City come out to make everything right again. Jeremy got us on the schedule quickly and even pitched in himself to keep the job moving. I couldn't be happier with the result and had only great experiences with everyone who worked on our project. Al their jack of all trades and Glen the drywall guy deserve special mention as they went above and beyond. Thanks again!

I met Mark after having catastrophic water damage in my kitchen and basement. Mark, without hesitation, reviewed the damage and outlined a plan to not only remedy the damage but also restore said damage to standards that exceeded our expectations. He and all Capital City employees were outstanding in their resolve and diligence to see the job through, but also go the extra mile to ensure our satisfaction. I will use Mark and Capital City for any upcoming projects, and I recommend this company to anyone who needs any construction work of any kind. This crew, thanks to Mark's leadership, was absolutely outstanding.

We met Capital City at the Eagan Home Show. What a great 'home town' find for our wainscoting project! Great people, great work and right in our back yard. Al, Jake and Tom were three of the best carpenters I've ever seen, and Frank did a great job with the stain match and application. Jeremy managed the project, and was terrific communicating and scheduling the job. We couldn't be happier with the outcome

We've hired a couple of different contractors to do work at our home. Sad to say, not all live up to their hype and we have some things we still need to remedy. Fortunately, this time we found the right company.

We were looking to have our countertops and backsplash updated in our dated 1990s' kitchen and bathrooms, and after looking at our options, we chose Chad and his team. They definitely delivered!

There were a number of great people who led different parts of the project - Chad pulled everyone together; Trevor took the lead on getting our countertops replaced; Raphael, Regan, and Fernando handled all the details and finish work.

Our project started out with a hail damage roof claim that was denied by our insurance company. Jeremy at Capital felt we had a legitimate claim and with his expertise, knowledge of Minnesota codes and, most of all, persistence with claim reps who kept denying and/or asking for more information, we were able to get the roof replaced covered in full. The second project was new soffits and facia. Since we were doing the roof, it was decided to update the soffits and facia. Jeremy hired a subcontractor who did an awesome job. We love the new look. The third project was to fix the sagging roof over our garage which we had since we bought the house 40 years ago and was gradually getting worse. Jeremy and his crew carefully examined, discussed with each other and then gave us options to fix, but to do it right it required new trusses which we realized after looking at the poor workmanship of the initial builder. Precision was needed because it was an attached garage. The engineer who measured and remeasured did an awesome job, and Jeremy’s crew did an awesome job of constructing it as close to perfect as we could have hoped. We couldn’t be more happy with how it lined up. The biggest thing throughout this whole project that we appreciated the most was great communication every step of the way, explaining what they were going to do, giving us options to change or upgrade to our desired end project. Thanks Jeremy and Crew Members Tom, Jake, Al and Raphy, for a great final project.

Chad and his team did an amazing job on our bathroom remodel. Will be using his team again in the near future. Would recommend to anyone.

Capital City did an awesome job on our project. They transformed the bonus room above my garage into a sleek working space. They pulled the carpet, replaced it with hardwood, framed French doors in, painted the interior, installed fans, lighting, mounted a TV, added trim and more. The crew is fantastic. I highly recommend them for your next project.

Chad was amazing to work with, he was honest and straightforward and gave us really sound advice (we chose to work with him over 3 other companies/bids). Our technician Matt was amazing, really professional and was in and out of our home quickly and he was thoughtful in how he moved our belongings, the work was impeccable and he did a great job with clean up - the space was 100% better when he was done.
