All reviews for Luminous Electric

We had an outstanding experience with Luminous Electric. Ben and his team handled all of the electrical work for our major 1,000 square foot addition to our South Minneapolis home—a project I managed myself as the homeowner—and working with Ben and his crew made the entire electrical side feel like a breeze. From burying the overhead power line and adding a new panel to the shining of the outlet covers, they were there throughout and were most excellent—hardworking, respectful, and honest. Communication was clear, they showed up when they said they would, and there was never a single issue with the project. That kind of reliability is huge, especially on a large renovation.
I’d highly recommend Luminous Electric to anyone looking for quality work and a team you can trust.

Great place! You can trust Ben and his team to do not only a good job, but at a fair price! HIghly recommend!

We hired Luminous Electric to help with a remodel, and they exceeded my expectations. They were super friendly, very responsive, great to work with, and CLEANED UP the job site so it looked better when the left than before they arrived! I would HIGHLY recommend-you won’t be disappointed!!

Good dudes

Turned me into a robot.

Knowledgeable and reliable! Will recommend to others.

Large jobs, small jobs - Ben and his team are the best at what they do.

Good work, great people, and fair prices. I’ll be back.

I'd recommend this company to anyone. They are super knowledgeable, ethical, and do amazing work. Thank you so much!

These guys are great. I’ve used them several times for my home and investment properties. Always on time, reliable, and reasonable pricing.

The 2nd electrician that came in to fix a faulty light switch, he found the source of the problem and fixed it in less than 30 minutes! Very positive experience, nice guy, professional and knowledgeable! Thank you!

Can't recommend Luminous enough! They're creative problem solvers, and they know their stuff. They did a great job on our last project, including finding a simple and cheap solution for something the previous electrician said couldn't be done, and it came in at about half the cost of the other estimate.

Would recommend to anyone.

Great experience working with Luminous. Friendly folks who were very respectful of our home while they did their work. The installed a replacement panel, sub-panel in the garage, and many lights and outlets - and they did all of that very quickly!

I have had Ben and his team out to my place multiple times for different projects (adding outlets in a finished basement, replicating breakers, adding dump pump outlet etc.)

It’s always a 5-star experience! very fair priced and honest. They won’t push you to upgrade, you can trust these guys!

We did a major job on our old house. We had about 80% of the house rewired. Ben and the entire staff were great. Upfront on the estimate, on time, friendly staff, and everything went according to the plan. I had estimates done from a few places, but I didn't pull the trigger until I felt comfortable.

Luminous electric looked at the entire job, the big picture, listened to what I wanted and finished the job with great results.

Don't hesitate to call Ben and have him take a look.

Thanks Luminous!

I had a new electric service box installed, and miscellaneous smaller projects. I appreciated the professional attention to completing the work and figuring out unexpected challenges.

Easy to work with and reasonably priced. Out of half dozen contractors I reached out, the only one willing to do some landscape lights.

Super nice and easy to work with (had a little phone tag initially but it all worked out, doesn't hurt to follow up if you haven't heard anything). Does a nice job explaining what needs to be done and was able to work me into his schedule faster than anticipated!
He swapped in the correct receptacle for my kiln and checked that the wiring was correct for it as well. Very conscientious and good at what they do, highly recommend working with them!

Ben and his team are the best. They've helped us out with small and medium-sized jobs, and they are always responsive, reliable, and tidy. They're also extremely reasonably priced and consistently beat quotes from other electricians. Highly recommended!
