All reviews for Mahner Tree Service

Knowledgeable, fair price, on time, all of the above. Second time using them, and will continue to be my go to for tree removal and trimming.

Monti and his crew did a fantastic job from start to finish with stage one of some pine tree and evergreen removal from my yard for landscape work at my new home. Monti was prompt at responding to my call looking for an estimate where I didn't get that with all of the other companies that I reached out to. He was able to come out to the house and give me a reasonable estimate the same day. When the crew arrived to start the work a few weeks later, they were pleasant, professional, and took care of all the needed work scheduled and cleaned up afterwards. I would recommend Monti and his crew to anyone that is looking for tree services! You won't be disappointed! Already have stage two planned with Monti to complete the final work and look forward to another easy and affordable process!

UPDATE: We've just used Monti for the third time for tree removal and buckthorn clean up. As always, excellent and timely service at a very reasonable price. We have one more large clean up project planned, and Mahner Tree Service will be the only place we go to.

Monti responded to my initial call the same day and was able to review the project and provide an estimate the same day. We had a very large job that involved removing multiple trees and stumps, clearing buckthorn, trimming trees away from the house and removing debris that we had gathered ourselves. The team arrived on time, was extremely polite and professional, and began working immediately upon review of the long list. They even did some extra trimming on trees that weren't on the list, but needed a little clean up. The yard and driveway were left spotless with all work completed to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend this company and plan to use them for all our future tree needs.

I've used Mahner Tree Service twice the past few years and they've always been responsive, well priced, and most importantly professional. High recommend and will use again.

Monti and his crew did a fantastic job removing a tall dead tree from our property. They also ground some stumps nearby and tidied the entire site after the work. They put in a lot of effort to minimize disruption to the surrounding landscape and were responsive to my requests. Easy to work with and schedule. Highly recommend!

The entire team with Mahner did a great job for us today! Two large trees removed and stumps ground. They showed up on time and everyone worked hard to do a great job with prep, removal and cleanup afterward. Wouldn’t hesitate to call them again!

Wonderful service. They went above & beyond. Everything looks great. Affordable & so accommodating. Will definitely use them for future needs.

Used Mahner for a second time. Always a pleasure to have on site and never cause a problem. They are courteous and don’t mind when people watch, even though I’m sure it’s a pain for them having others watch over. Thanks again Monti for handling our tree issues like usual. Always send out your name for referrals.

The Mahner experience was awesome from estimate to payment. Monti walked us through the yard, explained how they would remove our trees (some were in tough spots) and remove the wood from our property. He answered all of our questions. Once we agreed to work with Mahner, we were put on the schedule for the following week. The crew was on time, incredibly nice and very thorough. We walked the yard again, confirmed plans for each tree and off they went. They took out four trees, three stumps and had our yard cleaned up good as new in less than five hours. Couldn’t be happier with our service. Thanks!

I don’t usually write reviews but the service I received last week was exceptional. We had lighting hit a tree in our yard on a Wednesday evening. Once I realized it had happened (the storm ended) I texted Mahner (I had used them in the past) to see if they were still doing tree work. They responded immediately (this was 6:30PM). We were leaving town, on Friday, and I was concerned the damaged tree would hit the house while we were gone. I sent a picture and was told a team would be out there in the AM. By 9:00 AM they had a crew here. By 10:30 the tree was gone, stump ground and everything cleaned up. Crazy fast and they did a great job. This was a fairly large tree (I’m still getting used to it not being there☹). I couldn’t recommend them enough. Not just for their work but I chatted up a few of the workers and they were all extremely pleasant. Great crew. Great service.

This is our second time using Mahner Tree Service. From the original contact thru the end of service we couldn’t be more pleased with the communication and service. The team that came out to the house was very efficient and did a nice job cleaning up. We would definitely recommend Mahner if you’re in need of tree trimming or removal.

Expert work and cleanup. I would highly recommend this tree service . Mahner will be my go-to next time.

Fantastic, Class A group of pros right here. Monti is extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. His crew was considerate and did a great job with our request. Highly recommend!

Mahner Tree Service was hired by a neighbor to remove a tree on Monday. I had a large pile of ash limbs piled up by the curb since Saturday. I was planning on hauling them for disposal that night but when I heard the chipper, I walked over and offered the crew cash if they could swing by and clean up my brush pile after they were done at my neighbors. They provided a reasonable price and were happy to help. In addition, I still had 4 main limbs on my dying ash that was still standing that I inquired about having them finish the job and bring what was left of the tree down. Again, they offered a reasonable price and had it down & cleaned up in about an hour and a half. They squeezed me in between their AM/PM appointments. I was thrilled to pay the men and have it done. It saved me a couple weekends and a trip to the chiropractor. Great personalities of all 4 men who clearly know what they are doing and have pride in their work.

Had a row of trees trimmed and a few removed in my yard, and Mahner tree service was excellent. Jamaica and her crew did a great job,and the cleanup was beyond great. I would definitely recommend them for any tree needs.

Had a great tree removal experience with Mahner. Monti was very communicative throughout the process. The crew was very professional and efficient…done in a timely manner, and cleaned up the area beautifully. Will definitely recommend and use them again.

Outstanding job removing a big oak tree next to deck and house. The crew worked carefully and together to cut down this difficult tree.
Very impressed with their attention to detail.
Professional and skilled ‼️‼️‼️

A tree fell on my house the Friday of Memorial Day weekend- Monti was able to come out and give me a quote that evening so I could submit it to insurance.

Quick removal, great communication and service! Great guy and a great crew! I told my friends about it and they have used him in the past as well and also commented on their excellent experience.

Monti and his crew did a great job removing a large and very dead tree from our yard. He gave us a competitive bid, explained why the tree had died, and stayed in constant communication with me in scheduling the service around Minnesota winter weather. He's really nice, knows his stuff and gets it done -- and done well. Highly recommend!

Competitively priced, easy to work with and did a great job. I can't really ask for much more. Would definitely recommend.

Mahner Tree Service did a great job today on our trees! We had two large silver maples with limbs overhanging the house, street, and driveway. Monti and his team showed up right on schedule and after just a few hours our trees were looking much better with no mess left over. Pricing is reasonable and they are a considerate team, taking the time to explain all the work being done before starting.
