Outstanding customer experience with building a patio behind our home. JLM (Tom Miller and team) is timely, excellent with communication, and design. I highly recommend this organization for your next project.

JLM Design Build just completed work on our house, and I cannot express how pleased I am. Our large paver driveway is going on 15 years now, and has settled in multiple places, and the containment margins were breaking down. JLM came in and repaired everything as necessary, and the driveway again looks beautiful, like new! I didn't expect it to turn out SO nice. Our landscaping is also 15 years old and looking tired. JLM installed a significant update/refresh to our existing landscape, and it is absolutely beautiful! With this and the driveway, I feel almost like I'm coming home to a new house. I also cannot express how diligent, hard working and courteous the workers were. They went above and beyond the call, and I felt very comfortable having them around. DEFINITELY plan on using JLM Design Build in the future!

JLM did all of the landscaping for our new house on a lake, including the lawn, bushes and trees, building a retaining wall and designing and building an outdoor kitchen and fire pit. We couldn’t have been happier with the design of the retaining wall and outdoor kitchen. The workers were very professional and the work was completed on time and within budget. I would recommend JLM to anyone.

My contractor Midwest Fence hired JLM Design to landscape the area along both sides of the fence
they had built for me with granite rock. The problem I had with the work done by JLM was when they layed the plastic down on top of the soil where they layed the granite they did not bring the plastic under the fence to the other side of the fence so no weeds would grow there. Instead they brought the plastic up to the one side of
the fence ended it and went to the other side of the fence and started laying the plastic again which
allows weeds to grow along both sides of my fence because they ended the plastic too soon.
That being said I am constantly having to maintain those areas of my 53ft fence each year from weeding etc
At the time I did contact Brett at JLM
He came out to my house. I asked him to re-do the job properly by bringing the plastic under the fence to the other side instead of ending it down the middle and he refused stating I was being to fussy and he left. Very poor customer service
I had previously worked with another landscaping company and had no issues like I did with JLM
