Did a great job! Very happy with the service!

Had a dead tree taken down and a large maple trimmed. Thought Reed and his crew did a great job and were knowledgeable, friendly, and reasonably priced.

Reed and his team were fantastic. Fair price, great work. Reed communicated scheduling plans and they left the property looking better than they found it. Highly recommend.

We have used Golden Leaf on two separate occasions. The first, we had planned some trimming/removal and the second was for an unplanned tree down. My family and I love supporting local businesses and Golden Leaf does not get more local!!! Reid and his team are ALWAYS professional, transparent, accommodating, and their work is stellar!

We truly recommend them for ANY type of job with any level of complexity. I refer them as many times as I can and they have earned my business from here on out!

Golden Leaf Tree Service did a great job removing our 80ft+ silver maple in the backyard. They came out in early Dec. 2020 so the ground was pretty much frozen. The equipment they used was minimally invasive and the guys worked quickly. The quotes we received were reasonable. They left the yard tidy (better than it was before they arrived). We had a sugar maple near the silver maple that seemed okay, however, once the guys were out and working around it (some of the silver maple branches were intertwined with the sugar maple) they told us much of the sugar maple was rotting and posed a safety concern due to it's proximity to the house. Golden Leaf was able to provide us a reasonable quote the same day and we decided to have the tree removed as well. We are thankful the issue was brought to our attention and it saved Golden Leaf another trip out to the house.

I have used Gold Leaf twice now and they are great to work with. Very responsive, easy to schedule with, and very thorough in the work. Have recommended to multiple people already.

Tony and his crew did a Fantastic job. We had a large willow tree with roots growing out of the ground and 2 box elders. All around a pond that was overgrown. Golden Leaf not only removed the willow and 2 box elders but cleaned all the dropped willow branches and ground down the stumps and chopped out the huge root cropping. Exceptional work and attention to detail. Also no more scub bushes and scrub trees around the pond. I have my tree service! Thank you so much ...it was more than worth the expense. How often does a person get to say that and mean it.

We used Golden Leaf Tree Service to remove a 110 foot tall, 6’4” diameter cottonwood located between our home and our neighbors. They did an exceptional job, at a very competitive price. They are professional, skilled and experienced. I highly recommend them.

The city of BC hired Reed and Golden Leaf to cut down 2 Eastern Cottonwood trees that bordered our property back yard. This was done under the auspice of the city Forrester, Sam, who appears to be a DEI hire! I caught him in a couple of lies: One was concerning the now abandoned little league ball field to the North; the other involved the Shingle Creek Watershed group. Sam claimed the watershed prevented the removal of the cut down trees/slash! I contacted them, and learned that they couldn't have cared less about how the hack job was handled!
Golden Leaf tore up the peat turf to our North, and they nor the city intend to restore the destruction! The city took the lowest bid available, which shows.
I never saw Sam supervise the job as it was in process, and he hasn't been here in the weeks since the damage occurred!
I suspect Golden Leaf and BC city are ashamed of the result as much as I am.
I would never hire Golden Leaf.
I know of a great tree company called Expert Tree Service, Hammond WI. They are actual arborists. And they do excellent work, and repair any damage they caused.
Expert is responsibly priced, but are not HACKS. I wouldn't have paid Golden Leaf more than $5000 for the destruction they left. BC is not the same city they were in 2002 under Ole the real Forrester.
