Jake was very friendly and efficient. He let me know what he was doing and what the next steps were. He finished quickly and explained what he had done. The fireplace is working great and he talked to me about the maintenance needed going forward. Awesome job!

Noah M. came out and serviced our gas fireplace and furnace. He explained what he was going to do and asked if I had any questions about the services being performed. He answered all questions and proved to be a knowledgeable and experienced technician. He found a couple of issues with the furnace and was able to make repairs during his servicing. I really appreciate that they carry enough parts on their trucks to be able to do that. I'm glad I called Comfort By Design for servicing and was very happy with Noah and his great work ethic.

I am very pleased with the service I received today from Michael (K)! He was originally here to check out the bathroom fan, which he did. He mentioned the other services your company provides. Based on that, I asked him to perform a fireplace service and he had time, so that's been completed also. It looks amazing! I am under another company's service agreement, but when that is up for renewal I'm seriously considering making a switch! I had a full service on my gas fireplace, after the pilot light went out and I couldn’t figure out the knobs in the sea of dust. It was in rough shape, having not been serviced in 6+ years. There was a small mixup with my service time, but I called in and they made good on getting the work done the same day. My service tech Noah was super friendly and did an amazing job. I don’t know what I was expecting, but it wasn’t for it to look almost brand new. I thought the price was fair and I well worth the outcome!

Robert has a magic touch, got my fireplace working at tye first try. He spent time to explained how things work and was very friendly. Thank you too for taking care of the problem.

I highly recommend Comfort By Design. They are great! We have an enclosed porch we wanted to enjoy through the winter. (It gets very cold in there) We decided to go with Comfort By Design because we'd heard about their fireplace services and their technicians were great at installation.

Aaron came out to our house and gave us a great estimate on a small stove. The selection of stoves was great, as well as the prices. We decided to go with a smaller unit because the porch is on the smaller side and the units seemed like they could heat the space well. Even the smaller units.

The stove was delivered two weeks later and the service guys who installed it did a great job. They were courteous, knowledgeable and fast about their work. We love this new stove so much, and we're so excited to make full use of our porch even in the middle of a Minnesota winter!

My wife has since decided to work out there instead of at the kitchen table. (We're both working from home these days). I highly recommend Comfort By Design, soup to nuts, they're a great crew to work with.

Sept 2024 - Michael did our pre-season fireplace tuneup and cleaning today. We could not be more pleased. He was so knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything we asked about. He also found exactly the blower motor we needed, went and picked it up, and came back and installed it same day. We highly recommend Comfort by Design.
2023 - Noah was super - very knowledgeable, very personable, and our gas fireplace is working beautifully. Definitely recommend!

Michael K did a fantastic job servicing our fireplace. He explained in detail everything he was going to do and gave me several options of what he could do and what he recommended.
He answered all my questions and made me comfortable with my decision.

I recently had Jonah from comfort by design out to our home to install a drop-in Blaze Grill into our outdoor bar. It had been some time since we've had a grill in that bar and he inspected the electrical and gas, fixed both, and was a pleasure to work with. If you need an outdoor kitchen or grill insert completed, I would look no further than comfort by design and I would specifically ask for Jonah. An exceptional young man who is an expert at both gas and electric which is very hard to find. He literally had our backyard bar fixed and ready to go in less than 2 hours on site and the price was very fair. Special thanks to Meg and the team at comfort by design for working with me and getting someone to the house so quickly and professionally. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
