North State mechanical was very helpful in getting my air conditioner assessed with my home warranty. The installation went smoothly. Danielle was very helpful with scheduling and explaining different options to me.

Danielle at North State Mechanical is friendly and provides great service. She helped a lot with the process of getting a new furnace installed via our home warranty last month. She also coordinated with another company to schedule the chimney work that needed to be done as well. Our new furnace works great and when it made a weird noise the other day, she had a tech out the next morning to check it out.

Excellent customer experience! Troy arrived on time (a bit early, which was nice) and thoroughly investigated our problem. His initial intuition was spot on after I described the symptoms of our problem. Extremely friendly and easy to work with.

Tim came out to do some maintenance work on my furnace! He was informative, very kind and helped get my furnace in tip top shape! Great company to have in your home, and Tim is a wonderful Man!

Fast service and very friendly. Another company had diagnosed the problem as a bad solenoid on our Aprilaire. They wanted $450 to replace it. I got a 2nd opinion from North State Mechanical. They diagnosed the problem as a clogged water line. The solenoid was fine! Cost was $164. Total contact to work completion time was 20 hours. We will use NSM in the future for our HVAC needs.

I’m so happy with our service from North State Mechanical. They were very easy to schedule with, they were on time and kept us updated throughout the process. Most importantly, they got our furnace back up and running in a timely manner during a below zero cold snap. Brad helped me think through placement of a few space heaters so the pipes didn’t freeze while the parts and repairs were happening. All said, I am going to use them in the future for any of our heating and cooling needs!

North State Mechanical arrived on time for preliminary meeting about replacing our 23 year old furnace. NSM has provided annual preventative maintenance that no doubt has contributed to the longevity of the furnace, but it’s time to replace it. We are scheduled for replacement next week and look forward to having a new energy efficient furnace to keep us warm for many winters to come!

Working with North State Mechanical has been a pleasant experience. Their communication is great and they always fit in my service when it works for me.

Me again 👋…that is 100% true. I always get a response within a few minutes, scheduling is easy, they are always on time or communicate if running behind due to a job taking longer, they will even troubleshoot over the phone to see if I can fix it myself! (Who does that? Offer to help for free!) Everyone that has been in my home from North State has been respectful and friendly. Thank you, NSM! I will be a lifelong NSM customer!

The technicians were top notch and were able to diagnose the problem quickly, and repair it in short order. Will definitely keep them on speed dial.

North State Mechanical did an amazing job installing a new central AC at my house! They were my assigned contractor through my home warranty program, and they made the process easy and seamless. Danielle explained the whole warranty process and stayed on top of the warranty company to get my claim approved and my new unit ordered. The techs that did the install were friendly and got the job done quickly and cleanly.

Highly Recommended – Professional, Honest, and Reliable!

I had a great experience with North State Mechanical. The mechanic named Brad R who looked after my AC unit was not only skilled and professional, but also honest and transparent throughout the whole process. He explained everything clearly, didn’t try to upsell unnecessary services, and got the job done efficiently. My AC is now running perfectly! It’s hard to find companies these days that are both trustworthy and knowledgeable, but North State Mechanical exceeded all my expectations. I’ll definitely be calling them again for future HVAC needs!

Everyone I spoke to was kind and friendly and I was scheduled quickly. The technician explained everything thoroughly and gave great advice.

I emailed 20 verified contractors for some Do-It-Yourself (DIY) clean-up, and Danielle from North State Mechanical was one of two that replied and the only company that actually came and looked at the problem. In just two days after asking I had answers. Brad came out and identified the total situation and offered a few possible choices based on his many professional experiences. It may have been an odd DIY call, yet he quickly verified the problem areas, discussed all my placement concerns and code requirements, and gave me a couple good options to finish up what I don't have the tools to do myself. It gave me confidence to trust what they say and what they do. I'm very pleased by North State Mechanical's responsiveness, and the new heat pump result is great!

Dylan was probably one of the best service professionals I have ever had in over 43 years of living in my home! He was exact, friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. Even swept up the floors and picked up all rubbish after the installation was completed! He should be commended for excellent service.

My husband and I were both running late to get home so our service tech waited on the street for probably 15 minutes before I got there to let him in. I felt so bad for making him wait, especially when he was so punctual, but he was super nice about it! His A/C inspection was very informative - he gave me the current status of our unit as well as some information about what to expect in the coming year and what to look for to prevent any potential issues. Great service and super friendly!
