All reviews for Proficient Construction

They did an awesome job and were very professional. They were also respectful with my property and cleaned up everything when they were done. That is very much appreciated with a dog and kids running around the yard! Thank you to Ann Ruud and the whole team for everything!!

Proficient Construction and its owners, Boe and Rachel Narveson, managed the installation of our new roof and the coordination of the replacement and installation of an additional gutter system. They also repaired and wrapped all the brick mold around all our home's exterior windows. The quality of their work was excellent, and their attention to detail, responsiveness, and timeliness was unsurpassed! They were wonderful to work with, and all their craftsmen were highly skilled and did an absolutely great job for us! Roman & Nancy

Proficient Construction did an amazing job on our new roof! From the time I inquired to the time the job was finished was such an easy and stress free process. They were professional, knowledgeable and very courteous. We will be recommending them to family and friends! Thank you again Proficient Construction!

I was so impressed with Dan and the team that came out to build my deck. From start to finish this project has been so simple and easy. They are just finishing up the final touches now but I'm already in love with the work that was done.

Dan was very responsive to my emails and checked in in-person regularly. He answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly and there were never any unhappy surprises! Him and his team also gave a great suggestion for a solution on an unsightly piece of siding that had holes/paint on it from my previous deck and now it looks fresh and new!

Not only was Dan great to work with, but he also was one of the friendliest/positive people I've ever met! I met with about 7 other decking companies, and among other things (of course), my interactions with Dan definitely played a role in me choosing Proficient Construction for our deck. I will not hesitate to recommend your team to anyone I know that has siding, decking, roofing, etc needs.

Ann R. was an awesome project manager - she was detailed & on top of things from start to finish. Both her roofing crew and gutter crew were thorough & efficient. Really great experience & will certainly use her for future needs.

The roofing crew at Proficient Construction was great and are all hard workers. Clean up on the job site was impressive! Everything went smoothly from picking out colors, getting the materials delivered, to scheduling the service. Great communication throughout the company.

Great workmanship, Great Price and Great Service! From the initial call with this company until the final payment this was the nicest group of people. They did detailed assessment of the roof with detailed cost analysis. They offered their assistance and experience when picking out the new roofing materials and their craftmanship was excellent. I would Highly Recommend this company to anyone in need of roofing work.

Rachel and her team were so easy to work with and did a great job. They worked very hard and efficiently to get the roof done in the stated time frame. Rachel and her team checked in numerous times to ensure our satisfaction with the job. Highly recommend!

From start to finish this company was fantastic. Jerry who sold us the deck was amazing and kept in good contact the entire time. The team that showed up was great. I would recommend these guys to anyone, as I already have to neighbors, friends and family.

Proficient Construction and Ann Ruud did a fantastic job on replacing my roof after hail damage. From inspection through the completed job I was provided updates and felt that I was in good hands. The roof looks great as well!

Proficient did the roof project at out apartment building complex. As a board member, I was very impressed with Proficient because they took the time and helped educate us in the insurance claim process since most of us were not familiar with it. They attended a few board meetings and went thru photos from their drones and inspections and different products. We had many contractors call us and only wanted our business but didnt really tell us how they could really help us. Rachel spent over 5 hours with our adjuster and even got our gutters approved too. We were also in need of some interior work and they even. They are a one stop shop and great to work with. WE are excited for our siding to get done in the spring. Thanks proficient team. We are very happy with you

We had a major hail storm hit our house while we were out of town. I called them up, and they had someone on site the same day. They sent us a thorough report of all the damages. From there they worked with our insurance company to make sure everything was fully taken care of. We have never had to replace a roof before, and they made it super easy by walking us through the different options and explaining it step by step. Once the crew was on site they did a great job of repairing the roof. They also made sure everything was fully cleaned up after they were done. The owners themselves came back and did a full sweep just to ensure it was perfect. I would fully recommend them for any roofing needs you may have, Boe and Rachel are awesome!

Cannot recommend this business enough. Rachel and team worked hard to get our entire roof replaced and not just repaired. They followed up with INS and the adjuster and took care of everything. The entire crew was friendly and made you feel like this job was their only priority. They worked hard and cleaned up each night. They went above and beyond to meet and exceed expectations.

Proficient Construction does excellent work and their customer service is unparalleled! They completed our project without a hitch, and were responsive and helpful with any questions we had along the way. I would recommend Proficient Construction to anyone, and I will be working with them again!

Senior Project Manager Ann R. was a great help throughout the process. After a storm and our house getting pummeled with significant hail damage, she helped us navigate the chaos of the insurance process and got us a new roof installed months before we were hoping. She answered all our questions, prompt communication, and made a usually obscure process completely transparent. Her crew was fast and done in a single work day with no disruption to our daily routine. Our yard was clear and clean when they completed and were super friendly/knowledgable as well. They made sure even a chance nail was cleared away because we have a dog and two young kids. In fact, they ended up clearing away old nails/screws left over from a project we had done a few years ago. They literally left the yard better than they found it. Highly recommended. Mark R.

Rachel & her team were nothing less than professional and extremely helpful throughout the process of getting a new roof and new siding due to a hail storm. We had never gone through this before, as homeowners, so the process was overwhelming for us but their team made us feel comfortable and re-assured. We would definitely recommend them for your construction needs.

Proficient construction provided roof inspection, roof replacement and window wraps. Working with Proficient was positive and efficient! Ann Ruud walked me through every step and she was able to be present when I was unable, due to my teaching schedule. Her honesty and direct communication is sincerely appreciated. The team of workers were very nice and the entire Proficient team was like working with extended family. Thank you!

Proficient Construction sets a gold standard for excellence in the contracting world. My experience with them was nothing short of exceptional. Their dedication to their craft is evident in every interaction, and their client care is truly unparalleled. Rachel, in particular, was a standout—her responsiveness, inventiveness, and amiable demeanor made our several-month collaboration a memorable journey. Engaging with Proficient Construction is not just a wise decision, it's an upgrade to your project's potential. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly endorse their services. If you're contemplating a partnership with them, consider this a resounding encouragement to leap forward.

Ann Ruud was wonderful to work with. We were also so happy that the roof was able to be replaced while we were out of town- so no noise issues for our dog and us! Amazing to come home to a new roof!

My roof had hail damage and my insurance agent got me in contact with Ann R. At Proficient Construction. She was super helpful, professional, and made the whole process easy. She came back to the house when the insurance inspector came and did the walk through with them. Roof was completed quickly and I highly recommend this company! And thank you Ann for being AMAZING!

Rachel was extremely helpful with the process of replacing our roof. From insurance questions to tile selection, she was there. We had to wait until after winter to have the work done but Rachel was good about staying in touch with us. Her project manager discovered more damage than the insurance adjuster found. They fixed the leak and told us not to worry as they would contact the insurance company. The roofers themselves were a credit to their profession. They were courteous, hard-working, and thorough. They left our property debris free. I highly recommend this company.
