Timely responses. I had problems with my boiler losing heat. Sun Ray Plumbing sent someone out the next business day every time I reached out (I reached out 4 times in 31 days).

Positive interactions. Jason went above and beyond in answering my questions about how my boiler system works and what work he was doing. Jason and Steve were clear, respectful and friendly when communicating.

Fair pricing. I paid for high quality, efficient work at a good price. The know how to keep the customers happy.

These guys are AWESOME. Had an alarm go off at 6:45 am on my sewer system. I called Sunray at 7:02. Jason was at my house by 10:00 and had the issue fixed and area cleaned up by 11:00! This is the 2nd time I have called Sunray to fix a plumbing issue and both times they have been extremely responsive, friendly, and professional. I will use them again and recommend to all of my neighbors.

Got a Water sump installed in and out the back of house. Very good workmanship, made clean cuts in the ceiling to run sump out the back and put it back together like a puzzle. Excellent, clean and well executed for a very good price. Thanks again Steve and team!

I used Sun Ray to repair a shower faucet. They were really fast to respond, they went out of there way to find a part for a 12 year old faucet and saved me time and money. Steve was supper helpful and worked with my schedule and Jason was polite and did the job right. During this time of Covid-19, Jason wore a mask and also put on hand sanitizer when entering our home. This showed me an extra level of care for their customers and that goes a long way in today's world! I highly recommend Sun Ray Plumbing and Heating!

We had a major sewage pipe issue just a month into buying our first house. We contacted several contractors for bids and ended up using Steve from Sun Ray. Steve was extremely knowledgeable and detailed in his description of what needed to be done. It was all greek to us new homeowners but we came away confident and Steve was able to resolve our issue same day we decided on them. For such an initially stressful situation, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. I've kept his number and Steve and Sun Ray will be our first call on any future plumbing needs or for referrals.

Sun Ray Plumbing came highly recommended and they exceeded my expectations. Steve @ Sun Ray contacted me the same day I left a message. I had a difficult plumbing issue which I had 'put off' for several years. Steve and his team assessed the problem, came up with a viable solution and completed the job 4 days after my initial call. I am beyond thrilled!

I couldn’t be more pleased with the services and professionalism that the Sun Ray team provides. My wife & I have utilized this team a couple times in the past with the most recent time being standing water underneath our kitchen sink. Their response time is the quickest I’ve ever received when it comes to the trades industry. Once the team arrives they’re very friendly, genuine and very helpful. They explain what the issue is and provide you with options on how to go about fixing it. That’s honestly the best part about my experiences - is the fact that my opinion matters and is valued when it comes to the type of repair that is done. They also are very honest and upfront about what the issue is. They’re not just trying to milk a dollar out of you or slam the previous work that had been done prior to them arriving - they genuinely want to fix the problem and help their customers! Keep up the good work Sun Ray team!

Outstanding service and professionalism! The team at Sun Ray was prompt, professional and courteous when I had them out to repair my plumbing. Jason was informative, and demonstrated to me the problem with my plumbing and explained how he was going to resolve the issue. Will definitely be using them again for my plumbing needs.

We had Sunray Plumbing come by the house today. We had a clogged drain 40 - 50 ft and leaky pipes. They fixed the problem fast, were very thorough and professional as well. Also kind and down to earth. Would recommend to anyone and will be using them again for plumbing work in the future.

Great quality work and amazing helpful staff. I just had Sunray help me replace a valve and faucet for my shower and once again it was quality work for what I feel was a fair price. Its so hard to list all the things done right as those arnt the things that stick out but I will say my ONLY criticism is I reached out to schedule the job and it took about a 7 weekdays to finally get a date scheduled for the job. I feel this was due to how they schedule by connecting you with a scheduler who is is also a plumber. That was almost the best part though because they worked out the details and awnsered questions before they even came out. All in all I love working with this company because it dosnt feel like your being taken. I have had experience with other companies like the Mcquillen Brothers and felt like they used scare tactics to push more sales. Then they ended up charging me for the time they spent there trying to push me in.

Update: 9 months later the owner, Steve, called me to discuss my review below. I have increased the review by one star because of his efforts. To reiterate my review, my disdain towards Sun Ray Plumbing is because of my interactions with Steve, not because of the work his plumbers did.

I would STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED sun ray plumbing. The owner, who I believe is named Steve, was very unprofessional and curt. He visited our home and gave us a quote for plumbing for a basement bath and moving a water heater, the quote seemed reasonable so we contacted him on a Friday to tell him we would like to proceed, he told us he would get back to us on Monday or Tuesday. We contacted him again on Tuesday evening because he had not reached out to us, and he responded saying he could come by Wednesday afternoon or Thursday. At 7:30 on Wednesday morning he contacted us saying he was coming by to drop off equipment. The employees of sun ray seemed to do a good job on Wednesday. On Thursday Steve and another employee came over around 8am, Steve knocked on the door but opened it himself allowing our dog to freely walk out of the house and potentially out the gate because Steve had left it open, thank goodness our dog is well-behaved enough not to walk out of the gate by himself, or we could’ve spent the morning chasing our dog down the street. On Friday, after three days of work on our basement, Steve finally sent us our contract, after we had been asking for it for numerous days. The contract was in the body of an email, it wasn’t in a pdf document, it also had our name and address incorrect on it. On Friday evening Steve came over to inspect the work and ask for payment. Originally, Steve had told us we would pay half up front, a quarter after the initial work was done, and then the last quarter after all the work was finished. Steve never asked us for the half upfront like he originally stated, instead he told us “it’s going to be a little more than 3/4 because we’re basically done with the work.” When we brought up issues with the work done, such as a vent pipe being in a different location than we originally discussed, Steve’s response was “it doesn’t matter anyways, it’s going to be in the wall.” Well the issue with where Steve’s employee decided to put the vent pipe is that now our light switch plate isn’t at standard height because the vent pipe is in the way. When we found our tub upstairs, directly adjacent to the pipes sun ray plumbing was working on started leaking into the basement on the new concrete they just poured, Steve’s response was “it’s just old plumbing.” When we brought up that they had clogged our hot water pipes into our basement sink, Steve’s response was “oh yeah there’s probably a clog in this valve right here, if you take it apart and flush it, it should work.” When we brought up that they used PEX line instead of copper for one length of piping, we were told “oh so and so must have done that, he’s a junior, he’s just learning, but Steve ripped him one for that,” so basically something was done wrong and yet they let it maintain there. Overall, the employees of sun ray seemed to be friendly and did decent work, but I can never recommend anyone to sun ray because of my interactions with Steve. We were never told when the plumbers would be coming into our home, we didn’t receive the contract before the work was started nor have we signed one, the work done differed from what we originally discussed, and Steve’s attitude and quality control for the services his employees are doing is terrible.

Rude.

They were on site as part of a contract with my municipality. They installed a backflow valve and left it without a drain so that it it engages it will dump water directly onto an unprotected electrical circuit. They refused to fix it. They'll never step foot on my property ever again. Don't hire them.
