They were incredibly helpful and good to work with. Where other companies were difficult to get in touch with and did not go out of their way to process with me, they did. They were prompt, helpful, and explained everything they were doing.

My furnace was not working and I was calling all around. The tech called me right back and helped me troubleshoot right over the phone. Back up and running in 2 minutes, no charge. Awesome! When I need service, they will get my business.

Fong came to inspect why we didn't have heat at rental unit. He informed me that the gas company shut the gas down and I need to call them to turn on gas. I called xcrl energy but they said the rarely turn gas off as they would need to a cess the house inside to turn gas back on. They told me that your heating guy didn't know what he was talking about. Sure enough, xcEl energy sent technician out and unlock the meter outside. Fong was right! Fong was very nice, he came to t h e house to lite thr pilot light and furnace back on. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend Northern Aor. Real heating professional and care about the customers.

Northern Air was the only place to answer my calls on a crazy hot weekend. We had a dinner party planned and also have a young child whose room was reaching 90 degrees! Kyle came out and saved the day! Can’t recommend them enough!

These guys are awesome. Our A/C went out on a Friday of a long weekend. They were available to come out on a holiday for no extra charge and fixed our problem. They’re very knowledgeable and helped explain the issue to us. Great service!

AC went out the day before a heat wave and called 7 different providers looking for same-day service. Northern Air came through. My technician, Chia, was even available early, and diagnosed the issue within minutes of arriving. He even observed COVID-19 protocols, which I appreciated. If you are needing an HVAC contractor, I highly recommend Kyle Nystrom of Northern Air Heating and Cooling in New Brighton. It’s a family run business owned by Kyle and his brother in law. They were at my house Monday, June 4th, until almost 10pm installing my new A/C and furnace. I called him on Friday before to see if he could help. He was out Saturday by 9am to look at my “not working” A/C and here I am on Monday evening in a nice cool house! I felt their prices were very reasonable and he was not at all “pushy” on what I needed. He pointed out that he could actually “fix” my A/C (needed a new fan and motor), for approx $600, but I knew I still would have a 32 year old unit. I decided to have him replace my furnace too, (even older than the A/C) and got a nice discount for doing them both at the same time. Am I ever glad I did. That old furnace did not look so good once he opened it up. Absolutely the best HVAC contractor I have ever worked with. I sell Real Estate, and have had opportunity to interact with many HVAC contractors.

Had an issue with my old thermostat not holding the temp we would set it to and needed to change over to a new one. I couldn't get it going so I called Kyle at Northern air and him and Joe came over as soon as they had an opening. They were quick to identify the problem and solved my issue immediately. You won't find a more qualified and reasonably priced team for your Heating and Cooling needs!

A little more than a year ago, our condensate pump burst, and water exploded out of it like a fountain. We were new to the area and didn't know who to call. Google led us to Northern Air Heating and Cooling, and they were only vendor who could see us that day. Chia was nice enough to squeeze us in to diagnose the issue, then came back after another job to replace it. Fast forward about 13 months, water was leaking from the pump and we didn't know why. They came within a few hours of scheduling. Chia diagnosed right away. Our switch tripped, and I didn't notice that, and they didn't charge us. Now we know how to address in the future. Many thanks to Chia for the great service!

Centerpoint flagged my furnace. These guys came out diagnosed & replaced my furnace the same day! Very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional! I'm a very satisfied customer! Would definitely recommend and use them again.

Work with this company! I called them on a Friday night at 7 pm. I ended up getting the owner and he spent 30 minutes on the phone to walk me through trouble shooting it to save me some money. It ended up needing to be repaired, so he came out right away to fix it and gave me a great price. They also had really good communication to explain the issue and potential future issues. I highly recommend this small local business.
