Erick Nunez, the Home Comfort Advisor, is a really nice and friendly guy. Fully knowledges, well explained of different types of furnaces and walked me through the financing in a sec. Overall he’s the best, highly recommended if you need a sale advisor

Got new AC and humidifier with NOH. Had an issue with the humidifier and, after a little confusion, NOH sent a tech on a Sunday who fixed the defect in 15m. Greatly appreciate how they owned and redressed the problem which makes up for the concerns and earns the 5* rating.

Kelly from Northern One Hour came to our house to do a seasonal furnace check up. It was a good thing that he did when he did, as we had a number of cracks and rust through spots in our heat exchanger. Basically our entire system was not safe to be operating at this time.

We had another company servicing our furnace and HVAC for the last eight years, and I’m quite surprised that this never came up. This is not something that would happen in the space of a few months, so that was disappointing. I had never been shown the issues that Kelly uncovered, and I don’t believe they had ever done a camera inspection to my knowledge.

However, Kelly did a great job of showing me everything that was going on. Luckily it wasn’t super cold when we had to red tag the furnace. One hour is sending out somebody yet this evening to go through our options with us.

While this is never great news to get at any time, I’m glad it was caught before it was the dead of winter, or something more serious happened.

Same day service. The tech was super friendly and explained everything to me. He asked me several times if I had any questions to make sure I knew what was done. I highly recommend them for a friendly, knowledgeable and caring team of professionals.

I waited just over a month after having my new AC and furnace installed to evaluate their performance, and I’m pleased to say the results have been excellent. My previous units were 24 years old and clearly needed replacement. The new system is performing exceptionally well, where my home used to struggle to maintain cooler temperatures on hot days, it now remains consistent, with temperature fluctuations of no more than one degree.

The installation was handled by technicians Jim and Randy, who did an outstanding and professional job. They answered all of my questions throughout the day and ensured the work area was kept clean and organized. The customer service team was also fantastic, responding promptly and professionally to all of my inquiries before and after the installation.

Northern One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning has truly earned my trust and will continue to have my business for the foreseeable future.

Jason, from Northern One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning, performed extensive service on our furnace. His work, as always, was exemplary. He took the time to answer all my questions, thoroughly and honestly. He allowed me to use a coupon that saved us some money on the repair, as well.

Jason made sure when the work was completed that I understood precisely what he repaired and answered my questions on the surge protector, collector box and rain gutter he installed on our furnace. I felt very satisfied that the work was completed fully and completely.

We have had Jason come to our house for HVAC issues for over 20 years! He is an incredibly trustworthy and strong asset to Northern Heating. He consistently demonstrates solid workmanship and professionalism on every visit. Thank you, Jason. Job well done!

Connor arrived at 3:00. After a few minutes he went right to work, inspecting and giving our furnace a tune up. When he was done he came up and patiently explained some options to us which would help the furnace run more efficiently. He didn’t have what he needed in the truck so he talked about coming back the next day.

Dalton arrived earlier than scheduled for an emergency furnace diagnostic.
He completed his thorough analysis timely and provided repair options.
Part was ordered and scheduled same day repair. Nice job!
Mason arrived timely, completed repair work efficiently, and provided recommendations for improved ventilation.

Lucas came for an emergency after hours fix and took the time to stay and make sure we were properly up and running. He was very thoughtful, thorough, and patiently explained everything that was going on and how to tell what was working.

Service was timely and respectable unlike a recent experience with Bonfe.

Heads up about Bonfe, From my experience, they will try to get as much $ out of their visit. Be careful of add-on price gorging. I am fine with paying for good service but over 2x the competitor cost when they are already there?? No manager return call from them either so just plan accordingly especially for elderly or vulnerable populations.

We have been using Northern One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing & Mister Sparky Electric for several years. We have the membership, and it has turned out to be a great decision.

I called this morning, explaining what I knew about the situation, and they were able to send someone out same day. Today, Alex (who has been our technician on multiple different occasions over the past few years) was helping me troubleshoot an issue where our recently installed Furnace was having trouble keeping our house warm enough now that it’s getting colder outside.

Alex went through the entire checklist, and sorted out our rather unique issue with solid troubleshooting technique. He identified the issue, and very empathetically explained the situation.

Even though this wasn’t a repair that could be covered by warranty, he addressed everything in both a friendly, and professional manner.

Pretty much every interaction that I have had with them has gone this way, and while you may never want to have to call them, every interaction I have had showed me that everyone from those answering phones and scheduling, to dispatch, to the on-site technicians, all seem to enjoy the work they do, and they lead every interaction with empathy, urgency, and understanding.

These days, companies that deliver like this are in short supply, and I appreciate the culture they are clearly putting time and energy into building there.

Jason was out for a furnace tuneup, he was early, very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave his recommendations but didn't pressure us into anything. One hour is lucky to have him as an employee!

Jason was professional, respectful (he walked in and put on boot covers without being asked), explained everything, and did a great job getting my heat working.
I thought the price was over by $200 and the service fee wasn't applied to the balance, but it is what it is. I still think it was the worth it... thanks again Jason.

We had a flood in our garage ceiling that caused extensive damage to both the garage and our entire kitchen. During mitigation, we kept blowing fuses and breakers, so the team called in our electrical company to set up portable outlets. That’s when things went from bad to worse. We discovered our fuse box was one of the most dangerous types and needed immediate replacement.

In an already stressful situation, Steve was incredible. He took the time to walk us through everything, explained the safety concerns clearly, and even helped negotiate a better price on our $10k+ repair. His professionalism, knowledge, and calm approach made a huge difference during a really overwhelming time. I can’t recommend Steve and his services highly enough.

Josh was very professional and took the time to explain everything to us. He asked several times if we had any questions and he was very polite. The other guy, I don't recall his name, was great as well and even grabbed our garbage can and brought it up to the house. I would recommend them to anyone.
