All reviews for Classic Construction & Consulting

We had storm damage on our roof. We had Classic Construction take a look and confirmed this. Jen Mink and Matt were amazing to work with. Matt's knowledge from formerly being in the insurance business was key to the success of our claim. He knows this business! Jen Mink was our main point of contact. We appreciated her detail and excellent communication with us. Our insurance often asked for pictures and she would get on it right away and respond back to our insurance. Everything was always very timely. Our insurance was difficult to work with and did not make the process easy for Classic. They knew they were right in the damage and stuck by our side to see this through. Jen, you and your team are amazing! We now have a lovely new roof on our home and garage and couldn't be happier! We highly recommend Classic Construction.

Highly recommend and would use them again if needed. Nick handled everything for us and made the process seamless. Top notch service and quality work. Roof and gutters look amazing and work was done quickly.

We had the pleasure of engaging Classic Construction for roofing repairs in both 2022 and 2023. Following a severe storm in June 2022, they efficiently restored our house's roof and later attended to our barn's roof. The entire team at Classic Construction demonstrated utmost professionalism throughout our collaboration. From the initiation to the completion of both projects, their commitment to timeliness and excellence was evident.

Beyond their exceptional work, what sets Classic Construction apart is the personal touch they bring to customer relationships. The team has cultivated a genuine connection with us, transforming our business association into a friendship. It's not just about the quality of service; it's about the genuine care and camaraderie they extend to their clients. We are not only satisfied with their service but also grateful for the meaningful connections we've forged with the outstanding individuals at Classic Construction. Highly recommended!

Nick, Pete and the whole team were outstanding!! They were able to work with my insurance company and get an extension on my claim (I didn't realize I had 1 year to get the work done) I have a beautiful new roof. From beginning to end, the whole process was seamless and stress free. They took care of everything for me. I can’t thank them enough.

Classic Construction and Consulting replaced our roof after a hail storm. They did excellent work from start to finish. They used exact replacement materials and the applicators were efficient and timely for the job. The coordinating of work and billing was handled by Kelly Meyers, who was very professional and always available for any question about the work and the billing. They took drone pictures of the roof under repair, which, was essential for us to provide the insurance company. Winter arrived at the finish and they needed proof the work was done to release the funds. If not for the pictures, payment and completion would not have of happened for approx. 6 months after the work was completed. A great, complete job done by this company.

Nick and Kelly at Classic Consulting were exceptional partners on our cabin restoration. Their expertise and dedication made the entire process very easy. The results exceeded our expectations. The restored cabin is absolutely stunning

Classic construction and Jen Mink did a great job and went above and beyond with our insurance company. They patiently worked through the approval process and were able to get our our roofing and siding replaced completely. Once everything was approved it was a matter of a few short weeks before the project was scheduled and completed.

I would recommend to anyone who is dealing with roofing or siding replacement due to storm damages as they specialize in working with insurance company’s.

A big shout out and Thanks to Jen!!

My father-in-law had a very large tree fall on his home. There was roof damage, gutters were torn off, there was soffit and facia issues. Nick and his team took care of everything. From the estimate, to coordination of the different trade people, the project was completed to everyone's satisfaction. The weather didn't cooperate but Nick's crew worked around it. Once completed, the new components matched exactly and we are very satisfied. There are many concerns today with unqualified or unlicensed contractors, but going forward we will recommend all our friends and families use Classic Construction for their construction needs.

CLASSIC CONSTRUCTION SAVES THE DAY!

A tree fell on our roof after a storm and after attempting to work with three other contractors and a frustrating time dealing with insurance, we gave Classic a call and Ryan Halverson stepped up to take over and get the ball rolling.

After Ryan came and started the process, I did not have the speak to my insurance company ONE TIME other than to confirm payments being sent and any estimate changes, their team including Charles, Kelly, and Katrina kept us in the loop about everything.

The old roof came down and the new one went up in less than a day, clean up was great. And now it's all been wrapped up more painlessly than I could have anticipated.

Thanks again for everything!!!

Classic Construction has been wonderful to work with. Matt worked with us and helped get the process started Kelly in the office communicated to line up the timing of the new roof. Our new roof was done to perfection. The crew cleaned up after and we are so pleased. I will recommend Classic Construction & Consulting to family and friends. They are local and they take care of their customers every step of the way.

Scott and his team did an incredible job on our roofing restoration! The process was smooth, communication was clear, and the results exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend Scott for any roofing project!

The Classic team was very knowledgeable and professional with getting our roof replaced. They helped us every step of the way and would highly recommend Classic Construction for your next roof.

After almost giving up on repairing our roof because of hail damage a year ago, one day after work a nice guy named Jacob from Classic Construction stopped by our house. I had just gotten done with work and he pulled in our driveway with another guy named Jacob. Jacob told me he was showing the new Jacob what to look for when inspecting hail damage on roofs. He asked if I had damage from last years storms and I told him yes and it had not gotten fixed at this point. He asked me if him and Jacob could take a look at our roof. After a 1/2 hour they both came and told me they found a lot of damage to the roof and it needs to be replaced. They were great and took over from there. After having the insurance adjuster out to confirm the damage it was approved to be replaced. The crew showed up by 6:30 on Monday morning and finished by 3:30 on Tuesday afternoon! They worked fast and efficiently and cleaned up great after they were all done. My wife and I were very pleased with the outcome and how nice the new roof looks on our house. Thank you to the crew and especially Jacob for all the hard work he put in to have a new roof approved for us, we are very grateful.
I recommend Classic Construction to anyone looking for a very respectable company. Thank you all!!

In the last 4 months I have replaced two roofs . . . one at my business and then my home. The first project, at my business and done by another contractor, was a nightmare experience with minimal supervision by the project manager, major water intrusion issues due to improper waterproofing while the project was underway, and no assistance with the insurance process.

I contrast that with the experience of the asphalt roof replacement at my home by Classic Construction with Davinci Slate. I am thrilled with not only the process but the results. Jake, Kelly, and Neil were fantastic to work with. They helped me navigate the insurance jungle and Neil was onsite daily, working closely with the crew to make sure every detail was absolutely perfect. That was important to me after my previous experience. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were outstanding. They identified and repaired a few areas of concern. I highly recommend Classic Construction and I am so pleased with my new roof.

Jean Stelten

I was exceptionally impressed with Classic Construction, including Charlie Perkins, my main contact there.

I didn’t have any insurance coverage for my new roof, which seems unusual these days. So I looked very carefully for recommendations, tried to compare bids closely, and talked to five separate companies about the project.

Classic wasn’t the cheapest fit, but it wasn’t far off.

More importantly, it felt to me like their bid was thoughtful, comprehensive, and considered several contingencies that other companies failed to mention (or failed to consider).

In the end, it turned out that one of those contingencies materialized. I knew the cost upfront, I trusted them, they showed me evidence of the need for the change, and they took care of it.

Sure, I wasn’t happy that the project got a lot more expensive.

But I wonder what anither company would have done. Maybe they would have pretended like there was nothing wrong and finished it without me knowing any better?

Maybe they would have come to me to ask for significantly more money in the middle of the project after I had accepted their bid that was significantly lower?

I don’t know what would have happened, but I know that Classic Construction was upfront, experienced, competitive in their pricing, and helped me feel confident about making a huge expenditure.

Charlie and the whole Classic Construction team kept me in the loop, communicated effectively, estimated time well, checked in with me during the course of the project, and worked hard to make sure that my needs were met from the start of the bidding process through the finished project.

No one, including me, is going to tell you that replacing your roof without insurance coverage is fun. It isn’t. But making that kind of investment in my home felt a lot better with Charlie and the Classic Construction team on my side. I recommend them without reservation.

Pete Swanson and Classic Construction are fantastic! Highly recommend using them for your Roof or Siding project needs. Pete talked through the various technology and options in Roofing Shingles and Siding. We decided on LP material for our siding and are incredibly happy with quality of work, communication and material quality, holding up to the Minnesota Weather!

I just have to say that this business is top notch and very professional! No cutting corners and no games played!
Nick was awesome to work with! He helped me out tremendously and got all my questions answered! I would definitely work with him again! Kelly was a delight to work with also!
Everything was done professionally and in a timely manner!
I highly recommend Classic Construction & Consulting! I will be letting people know on how well everyone treated me and hopefully get some referrals!
Thanks again for all the hard work! My house definitely looks like a gem compared to the other houses in my neighborhood!

William Mellas did a great job for us. He was professional and very knowledgeable about our roofing needs. He was prompt at getting back to us when we had questions.
I would highly recommend Classic Construction & Consulting.

I’ve gotten to work with Classic on a number of projects. Their team is kind and knowledgeable, and they always put the client’s best interests first. They go above and beyond in advocating with insurance carriers to ensure fair, timely outcomes. Highly recommend!

We had our roof replaced with Classic Construction and they did a great job. We worked directly with Pete Swanson and he stayed in great communication throughout the process and was able to get our gutters replaced too. Highly recommend!

Classic Construction did a fantastic job on our cedar shake roof that sustained damage in a bad hail storm. With their experience, they helped us choose the perfect color and material to maintain the appearance of our unique home. Project Managers Nick and Paul were efficient and great with communication f unforeseen weather affected the original job timeline. We are very happy with Classic Construction and our new roof!
