We had a furnace/AC system that was nearing the end of its service life. Scott and his team were wonderful to work with throughout the process of 1) trying to fix the old furnace, and 2) purchasing a new system when it was clear the old system was on its last legs. Great service, attentive, flexible, transparent, everything you want in a service provider. Very happy with the new system they installed and their quality of service along the entire journey.

Alex,Jim,Dave from S&R Heating &Cooling came to install our new Bryant air conditioner.With their experience and team work the job was completed right around 3 hours. This company is committed to provide the customer with quality work. A morning call to the office was answered by Heidi who arranged for a technician to be at my home within an hour. Mike arrived thirty minutes later and ran all tests, explaining to me what he was doing at every step as he looked for the source of the problem. I was very impressed by his thoroughness.

We had S&R Heating and Cooling install a new hybrid heat pump & AC system; along with a new upgraded hospital grade air purification system. We were impressed with Rob Langer and his whole crew. They were able to completely remove the old system and install the new replacement system within a day. Rob and his crew were very efficient and extremely helpful and courteous. As a homeowner for over 50 years, I feel great confidence in their professional work. We would definitely recommend S&R Heating and Cooling for any heating and cooling issues.

We had our furnace and a/c put in today. The crew, Alex, David, Jim and one other gentlemen were very professional and explained everything. We had a great experience from the moment they got here. Andrew from S&R came to refill our air conditioner. He was on time, professional, and very knowledgeable. The price was in line with what we expected. We live out in the country and it was very convenient that they were able to drive out to us and service our home. We will be using them in the future.

I had my furnace die this spring. Since it was in the crawl space of my old 1932 bungalow it was not an ideal place to get a service tech to help. Scott and his team did a great job of relocating a new furnace on the main floor.

Recently had a new AC and furnace put in by these folks and they did a wonderful job. Rob and his team were professional, super eager to figure out exactly what I needed, and walked me through their plan ahead of installation which was great. The team that did the installation did a fantastic job and were able to answer any and all questions I had post-installation. I've used these folks for other maintenance in the past and will continue to due so in the future as I trust their quality of work.

Top notch service and value from start to finish. The owners ensure that everything is done correctly and personally follow up. The staff was professional. They went above and beyond to answer any questions and deal with some specific issues with our project. Scott helped us figure out the tax and utility rebates/credits to maximize the value we received. I absolutely recommend S&R!

We had S & R Appliance Repair put in a new HVAC heat pump system - heating and cooling with a whole home humidifier, air purifier and smart sensor for zoning - in summer 2023. We had been researching different local companies. We were impressed with S & R from our first meeting with owner Rob Langer, who took considerable time to explain the system and its value. Rob is a perfectionist, leaving no detail unattended, and his communication with us was excellent. We were also impressed with the crew -- efficient, professional, talented and kind. The job took 1.5 days during a hot July week, and by the end of the first day we had air! The change in the air and flow on both levels in our house has been incredibly noticeable.

I worked with Scott for the replacement of my heating/ac system for a new heat pump system this past summer. Scott was very responsive on the phone and came by in person several times to be sure I understood the details of the systems he was proposing. The system has been working well and so far I'm happy with the performance. There were some issues with a faulty thermostat and Scott was quick to come out and get it replaced. So far I've loved having a heat pump system on my house! Have barely used any natural gas so far this winter and the comfort of the home has been superb! I'm looking forward to years of reliable low carbon, low cost heating and cooling! Thanks for the great service!

I had my water heater replaced by S&R Appliance fall of 2022. Jim and Jake did a fantastic job. Very timely, professional and communicated well throughout. Nothing but good to say about the entire experience.
S&R also replaced my furnace and AC unit a few years ago with Scott and team doing a great job then as well.

Totally impressed with everything about S&R Heating and Cooling! Our air conditioner was not functioning properly during this hot Summer. Scott came out promptly and after testing let us know that we didn't need a new ac unit.

What an honest, straightforward approach to doing business. Jim and Sam did the subsequent repair in a timely and professional manner and we are enjoying our cool home.

Additionally we had them install a whole house dehumidifier. What a difference! If you have ever thought about getting one, don't wait any longer. Call S&R.

Our old furnace and A/C dying, and I knew it was time to look for replacements. After talking with a few different companies, I was impressed with what S&R proposed for replacement. They talked through the options as well as why I might want to select specific ones. I felt like I was under no pressure to go with the whatever they wanted to sell me. It felt more like they wanted to find out what I wanted so they could recommend the right systems.
The installation went well with no unexpected issues. I was surprised with how quickly everything was installed and working.

I wanted to wait a few months after the installation before I wrote the review to see if I was satisfied with the products and the work done. And I am very satisfied. Everything is working great - even with the sub-zero temperatures we've had lately. It's working exactly how I expected and how it was described to me when I was selecting the desired options.
I haven't yet had a reason to call S&R since the installation, but I just know that I would get a quick response to whatever question I had for them.
They were not the cheapest company I talked with when looking, but the quality of the service and systems I received were worth every penny.

We went with S&R Heating & Cooling to totally replace our 20-year old furnace and a/c with a new furnace and heat pump. It was a great experience from start to finish! Rob spent 2 hours here for the original quote making sure I understood all the options available and what would work best for our situation. Then, for the installation (which would take 1 1/2 days), he brought a large crew of 5 people here; they were on-time, courteous, and worked very diligently to get the system up and running before they left the first night which was really appreciated since it was hot out that day! And all along the way they were very conscientious about cleaning up.

Rob (who I found out when he arrived for the quote was a former high school classmate of mine!) and his team were amazing to work with! I look forward to a long relationship with S&R Heating & Cooling as I found a company I can trust completely!

S & R came highly recommended by my neighbors. Ron showed up on time and was very knowledgeable of the trade. He was not my lowest bid but I immediately got a sense that this was an outstanding company that stands behind their work and believes in outstanding service. Alex, Jim and Sam did a great job with the installation. My wife and I could not be happier with S&R!

I had a problem with the loss of some of the electrical power in my garage. Scott spent 10 mins diagnosing and suggesting on the phone as I followed his advice. Finally, success. He spent ten mnutes dealing with me and I asked if there would be a charge. Scott said would be no charge. He is a wonderful guy and will be at the top of my list when I need help in the future.

I recommend S and R Heating without reservation. Nathan, Alex, and the crew installed my gas garage heater and the process was absolutely professional. They went out of their way to help me move items obstructing the install and even returned after the installation to help with the WiFi thermostat. I’ll be calling them again.

Yesterday, I woke up to no hot water. S & R was very responsive and set up a same day appointment for me. Joe and Patty came out promptly as scheduled. They successfully repaired my water heater. They patiently, professionally, and personably answered my very many questions. They were great!

Recently I had my water heater replaced by Andrew B. Andrew went over the water heater options and answered all my questions and he had my water heater replaced quickly and efficiently. S & R replaced my townhome hvac systems with a Bryant Heat Pump and Furnace. Joe, Alex and Jim did excellent work. They kept all time and price commitments. They took extra time to make sure I understood how to operate the new systems. Their office staff processed all rebate paperwork for me. They set up a free follow up home call in a year to ensure everything is operating the way it was promised. I am very happy with the job S & R did for me. I consider them my local go to company for my hvac and appliance needs.
