If it were possible, they would get a 10 star rating. Dan Bischoff is outstanding as are the guys who refinish the floors. Floors were over 50 years old and never refinished. THEY LOOK AMAZING NOW, plus the fact that Dan and his team went out of their way to be extremely helpful and extremely thoughtful and courteous to this elderly woman.
Their motto of treating customers like family is a true motto for this company.

Luminous Flooring in Arnold, MO deserves every bit of praise I can give. We recently had a portion of our wood floor refinished, and the results are nothing short of stunning. The newly refinished area blends seamlessly with our existing flooring -- you would never know where the old ends and the new begins. Their craftsmanship is truly exceptional.
While the entire company has been wonderful to work with, I want to especially recognize Jesse and Ray, the two technicians who completed our project. These two went above and beyond from start to finish. They took the time to explain every step of the process, answered all of our questions with patience and clarity, and treated our home with genuine care. Their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail made the experience outstanding.
Jesse and Ray are true assets to Luminous Flooring, and because of them, we will gladly recommend this company to anyone looking for quality flooring work. Five stars all the way.

Everyone we came in contact with at luminous flooring was very professional and nice. I visited their showroom because of the good reviews on yelp. We got a competitive price and our new floors look great. We would definitely use this company in the future.

We had nearly half our home refloored by Luminous. We plan to get more done in the future.

The owner and staff were incredibly helpful and professional. The owner walked us through options and explained the benefits and drawbacks of each type of option there is. The came and installed quickly.

There was only one minor mistake. A 2 or 3 baseboards got scratched. One of the installers came over the next day after he installed at another house and fixed it for us. It was simply amazing service and results.

This was all at a price on par with using Lowes or Home Depot.

Luminous Flooring. Amazing from start to finish. From bid to completion, communication was prompt and informative answering all my questions and concerns. I'm not easy and have a lot of follow ups. I expect perfection. Raymond you hit it out of the park. Great job to you and your team! I used to work at a very successful hardwood floor company in OK so had just enough knowledge to be dangerous making sure I thought it was done right. One word! Fantastic! Do yourself a favor and go with this company. You will not be sorry!

These guys are truly amazing!! There were several crews that came over to each do their respective roles in changing out old dark stained wood with new pieces. They totally went above the call of duty and filled a couple of holes using dowels. Every person was courteous, patient (with our many questions) and respectful. They cleaned up each day as the process took a number of days to complete for 2 rooms. We highly encourage you to use them and Tom G and his fellow workers were outstanding! In fact as we were having windows installed, the installer wanted to get their number for future jobs as he saw their incredible craftsmanship. They also offered us the very best price for what they did and saved us a bundle by fixing only what was needed and not replacing the floors. We cannot say enough good about this organization! Well done!!!

I want to apologize to Luminous Flooring for failing to creating a review before now. I bought a home that had been carpeted over red oak flooring. After ripping up the nasty carpeting and removing and filling what seemed to be a million staple holes I called several flooring refinishing companies for in home estimates. Luminous Flooring refinished my floors in June of 2021 and they look as gorgeous as the day they were done!

Did an amazing job in our new (old,1925) house. Was so flexible with the power outages and always communicated well. We 100% recommend.

Luminous flooring did a great job on refinishing my kitchen and bathroom floor. Steven and his crew were very nice and accommodating. They put a lot of effort into finding the correct color. I really liked that they removed the toilet before refinishing the bathroom. I also like that they use a water based finish. I will be using them again when it comes time to refinish the living and dining rooms.

Great company. My floors look fantastic. The service was perfect. Everyone who works there is friendly. And the price was very reasonable.

They resurfaced my 30 year old oak floors after storm and water damage. Wow! My floors look amazing! They have also been back to install a wooden threshold after I had new carpeting installed, which runs along my wood floor. You will not find a nicer, more efficient group of people to work with! Their work is perfection and they are very reasonabl! I highly recommend Luminous Flooring!

Luminous Flooring just finished installing our new hardwood floors. Our flooring has 3 different widths, so not as easy as a single width flooring to install. They did a very professional job. I had 3 doorways to our tiled breakfast room, and a powder room doorway. I had no extra tile and they were careful, as I asked, and did not damage any of the tile. Chandler and Jacob were the main workers on our project of living room, dining room, entry hall and family room and completed the job in a timely manner and cleaned up the house afterwards. We are so pleased with Luminous Flooring!!

I had the names of three companies from which to get estimates for refinishing our dining room floor. This was the only company that responded. The three fellows who did the work were fantastic. Jake, Jake, and Grant. Jake the Floor Man matched the color of our other hardwood perfectly and took great pains to get it right. He did a beautiful job with his work. Jake the Carpenter did an unbelievably beautiful job with a couple of thresholds and vents all through our house that are flush to the floor. I feel like I live in a million dollar home now! All three of the fellows were courteous, hard working, serious about "getting it right," and professional. I couldn't recommend this company, and especially these three young men, more highly. I would like to give them ten stars out of five. You can't go wrong with them.

These guys just finished up refinishing our hardwood floors. Went above and beyond what we expected. The results were fantastic. And they showed up for work every day during the worst weather week of the year. Look no further for your floors.

Luminous Flooring did an excellent job on our hardwood floors. At this point they've refinished every inch of wood flooring on the first floor of our house and even installed an entire room that was not originally wood. It all looks fantastic and matches perfectly. We will definitely be working with them when we renovate our second floor.

Matt and his team did an outstanding job on our net-new job-site finished hardwood floors! Everything turned out as we envisioned, especially the color mixture they achieved (which was 50% aged barrel and 50% dark walnut by the way). Great communicators throughout the whole process. The lead installers and finishers are definitely craftsman. I recommend them.

Luminous Flooring installed hardwood floors on the main floor of our home. They were professional, quick, and did a fabulous job. I highly recommend Matt and his crew.

I hired Luminous Flooring to refinish the floors in my living room, dining room, family room, entry hall and hallway to the bedrooms. They replaced my entry hall with the white oak to match the rest of the flooring they were refinishing. They also replaced my kitchen floor.

This was a wonderful experience. Matt Lukens, the owner, was such a pleasure to work with. At any point when I contacted him, he immediately responded. One crew came out in February to replace the linoleum in my kitchen with Coretex flooring. The floor is quiet, warm and soft. I am very happy with the product and the crew did an excellent job in just a few hours.

In March they started on the refinishing/replacing, Matt had this scheduled out perfectly. It seemed he had crews of 3-4 people and they all specialized in something different. The first crew removed all of my furniture into the garage and they began covering my window treatments, ducting, bookcases, etc. The next crew showed up to sand, another crew to stain and the last crew to put on baseboards. The floors turned out amazing and the baseboards really looked great. By the end of the week, everything was complete except for the floors because they needed to sit before putting the furniture back. On Monday they arrived on time again to take care of that.

I have done a lot of home improvements and this had to be the smoothest operation I have ever seen. When I received bids from other companies, they did not move furniture or replace baseboards and still charged the same amount of money. Hiring Luminous again would be a no-brainer. I trusted and liked all the men that came to do the work and it was a pleasant experience. I highly recommend them.

I highly recommend Luminous Flooring. They installed a beautiful vinyl floor in our kitchen that is flawless and refinished all of our old oak flooring. Staff is trained well with attention to detail, polite, and clean up after their work. I would certainly use them again.

We didn't have a good experience with these guys. Called for an estimate, and Matt even drove to our house to take measurements. Unfortunately they never even came back to us with any pricing estimates. When I emailed to follow up, I got no response. So definitely lacking in customer service there. To me, it's a potential sign of what's to come. It's too bad...I had high hopes for these guys due to the reviews I read, but unfortunately our experience was not the same as the other reviewers.
