All reviews for Mathias Precision Tree Service

We have used Mathias for tree removal as well as arborist services. Every interaction has been positive. They are professional and on time. Have provided guidance on improving health of our trees, and treated trees if needed. For tree removal, the job was completed promptly with satisfactory removal of debris.

Josh and his team bid the work, removing 2 large trees close to houses, and some smaller ones. They came by to verify preparation a few days before the scheduled date and on the date scheduled, they completed it and left the work area clean. Professional service I will use again.

Fantastic service, I've had them remove 2 trees now and clear out the vegetation that overtook my back yard, as well as clear a downed tree. I could not be happier with the results!

One of the trees was a natural honey locust with big ole spikes right next to the house. They were able to remove it without damaging any of my property, I was extremely impressed. 1000% recommended for any tree removal and will absolutely be using again!

Josh and his team were very helpful in the process, did a great job and answered all of our questions. While they stay very busy, they were able to complete this project in a short amount of time. I would definitely recommend Mathias!

Just used Josh & his gang on 11/6 to remove 3 large trees....they did an amazing job....they were fast. efficient, friendly, reasonably priced and finished with an excellent cleanup.....definitely 5 stars 🌟.......thanks so much, love you guys

Mathias did an excellent job for me last week! After watching a neighbor’s tree come down I knew I needed to have some of my own removed. I contacted Chris who was able to get out and evaluate the trees quickly. They had me in the schedule the following week. The crew arrived promptly on the scheduled day, and got to work. They had all the equipment necessary to get the work done safely and even took the time to lay yard protection down, moved my grill and other things on my deck to prevent any possible damage.
When they were finished, you could barely tell any work had been done, except for the obvious. Cleaned up thoroughly and made sure I was satisfied with their work.
I highly recommend Mathias Precision!

Chris and his team did a Fantastic job with the work on our tree's! They did a Great job as well with the removal of all tree branches and cleanup!! HIGHLY recommend Mathias Precision Tree Service!!

Mathias Tree Service's crew is professional, polite, fast and efficient! What I imagined would take all day, only took this crew a few hours. They arrived ready and fully equipped for tree removal, stump grinding and deadwooding, and left my yard looking better than when they arrived. Extremely pleased and grateful for the services! From quote to service, it was such an easy process. I highly recommend Mathias Tree Service to anyone and everyone!

Mathias did an amazing job from start to finish. First off they were quick to get me a quote, that was honestly less than half the price of the name brand companies around here. They were able to schedule me in and even when I didn’t communicate well to my wife initially, the crew that was here took their time and asked about her recommendations before starting the work. They did such an amazing job cleaning up that if I didn’t see the little bit of sawdust and missing branches you would never have known they were there! Exceptional job! Highly recommended!

Saw Mathias Tree service doing an interview on Fox2 in the morning on January 26. I called for an estimate on a 30 - 40 ft Walnut tree in my back yard. Chris came that afternoon. The work was very reasonably priced. Chris said they were booking 2 to 3 weeks out. I signed the contract. The next morning Chris and his crew showed up wanting to know if I would like have the work done that day. I said sure. The crew started around 8:30 and were finished by around 2:30.
They crew was professional, polite, and thorough.
One thing that struck me especially in this day and age is that Chris didn't want any money upfront. He sent an invoice after the work was completed. It's refreshing to see a trusting contractor these days.
I would definitely recommend and use Mathias tree service in the future.

I am a repeat customer of Mathias Tree service.
Another first-class job performed by Chris and his expert crew.
Their attention to detail for 1 tree removal and precision pruning of 4 trees today was excellent. Their climber had no fear and cleanup was very well done! Very satisfied. Thanks, Josh for having them.

We were very impressed with the team that came out to get a large tree in our backyard removed. They were quick, professional, and cleaned up everything nicely. They even left firewood, cut and stacked for us. We would recommend!

We have used Mathias Precision Tree Service several times over the past 15+ years. They've removed a huge oak tree, a maple tree, and now a sweet gum tree. They've done several trimmings for us over the years. Removed bushes. Even put down sod after one tree was removed. They are completely reliable and superb at their job and work ethic. HIGHLY recommend!!

Great company, great customer service and great workers in general. As a facility manager at a school they always respond quickly to any request I make and the property always looks great! 4/16/25- Just them at my house recently to remove a tree. Very professional and did great work with removing and cleaning it all up. I highly recommend them.

We used Mathias to clean two big trees up. And cut a Hickory tree down and remove. The two trees had never been trimmed or cleaned up before. They did an amazing job. Thank you, I recommend this tree service for all your needs. Price was very good.

Thanks Mathias Precision tree service for the excellent work done on our yard. I appreciated the attention to detail and the skillful way they removed the bushes and trees we needed removed. The after clean-up was great , no damage done to our lawn. Most important to us was the involvement of the owner ...He was here several times , always responded to email questions , and made sure we were happy with the job.

MPLC removed my old sod and re-sodded with a turf type tall fescue. they installed patio blocks around our pool retaining wall where the dogs would make a muddy dog run every year. Patio blocks solved the mud run issue.

Always excellent service! Found that large tree had fallen overnight. Mathias was here with the great team they have in 2 hours! I won't go anywhere else!

Waited 4 months for a tree company because of the crazy cheap quote...decided to call Mathias after they left a pamphlet on my door. They had a quote within an hour, on the schedule the next day and both trees cut down a day later...for the same price as the guy I was holding out for! Affordable, friendly, and fast!

Mathias precision tree service did an incredible job on our old maple this week. The guys were very efficient and so considerate of our needs. The entire process was fantastic! Beautiful job, thank you!
