We could not recommend Shanks Heating and Cooling enough! During one of the hottest spells this summer, our air conditioner decided to go out on a Saturday night. Shanks came out on Sunday two different times to try to resolve the issue enough so we could have a semi-cool house that night. They returned the next day with the factory part that was needed to fix the air conditioner. Every member that came to our house informed us of what was happening, answered our questions and was extremely professional. Thank you from the bottom of our heart for your service. We would give you 6 stars if it was possible!

I appreciate so much the prompt service, especially since it was a Monday morning. We were baking in our hot house until Shanks came to the rescue. Everybody has been so friendly here! Highly recommend.

Very courteous service tech. My exhaust-duct work issue seems to have been resolved though it may be too soon to tell. All in all happy with the service and expertise.

Zane was great! He spent a lot of time going over our a/c and fixed the problem for us. He was courteous and knowledgeable. We have a service contract with Shanks and it has worked out well for us so far!

I called Shanks on a whim after moving to a new area and needing our new home's HVAC serviced.

Technician arrived on time and was clean and knowledgeable. Without over selling it, he explained our system works well, but was built in 1992 and will reach it's end of life someday soon.

We pursued three quotes for the system. A big company with radio and TV commercials offered to replace our system at a cost 40% higher than Shanks' quote, for a nearly identical product. The third was closer, but still higher.

The work was difficult, the unit is in a cramped "attic closet" with no room for two standing adults. They knocked out the install in a day, with some minor housekeeping and clean up the next.

At the conclusion, the man whom had sweat in my attic the day before, probably hating my house, thanked me for the business. This guy busted his ass is then thanked us for the opportunity to do so. The system works great, utility usage is lower, and we have peace of mind for many cool Summers to come!

I'd give them ten stars if I could.

Scott was professional and thorough and gave me reasonable options for our aging HVAC unit. No pressure, which was appeciated.

The young man sent to fix our office unit was super professional and did a great job. Got our issue diagnosed and repaired in less than 30 minutes. I loved the phone call letting me know he was on his way. Absolutely phenomenal service!

Woke up to an inoperable AC on a very warm day and was able to get a tech out by mid afternoon, which I thought was amazing considering we had never used Shanks before and were referred to them by a good friend. So these folks are very responsive and customer oriented. Scotty was great to work with, putting up with and answering all my questions as he worked. Will definitely be my HVAC contractor going forward.

Shanks has been great to work with. They are always on time. Doing the maintenance plan has been worth the cost. They don’t try to nickel and dime you. If they find something that is wrong or needs replaced, they will show you why and give some feedback on trade offs or considerations for replacing now or waiting. Having them out twice a year make it so easy and it’s not a constant worry of performance or when will this need replacing. Thanks shanks

This was our first time using Shanks. Zane, the technician, was very thorough, knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We look forward to future maintenance with this company.
