Lloyd Gould and his assistant did a great job! They were polite, respectful and took the time to explain everything they were doing. It’s too soon to see what savings on utilities we will get but I believe they will be less than before (at least usage will be less but who knows about the cost). We have used Sharp-Long for over 25 years and wouldn’t use anyone else. The company is honest, and we trust what they say. We have recommended them to our friends who are now Sharp-Long happy customers too.

Great team to work with. Friendly, professional and the turnaround on my new HVAC system was fast and easy.

We had our semi-annual service performed by Tavian of First Mate heating & cooling (summer service). His visit for service and follow up visit for some minor repairs were excellent. Although new to the business, his technical training was exceptional and well supported by hone staff. He is intelligent, well spoken, and very respectful. He was very efficient, on time and very thorough in describing the data collected and condition of our equipment. He is a great addition to the First Mate team and welcome to return to do our service visits in the future.

4/29/2022. On a regular spring service check up, we were advised that our AC unit compressor was not operating correctly and was about to quit. Going into the summer months, we decided to move forward with replacement. With the competent help of the Sharp-Long technicians, we now have a new heating, air conditioning and zoning system installed. Sharp-Long service was efficient, respectful, and they cleaned up after themselves. We definitely recommend Sharp-Long 72 Degrees Air Conditioning and Heating. A special shout-out to Lloyd Gould for his courteous and professional service.

Fast and timely, they arrived exactly when they said they would perform everything they said they would perform and even gave me some recommendations that I had been considering already. They are definitely knowledgeable and are not in the business of taking advantage of their community. If you are looking for service or installation, this is where I would point you in the direction if you were to ask me personally. I mean, he even said hi to my puppy. I will likely be referring them through my own construction business as well. The only reason I didn’t leave six stars is because it’s not an option

Tez came out to do our yearly maintenance , he was super professional, on time and gave me a very detailed account of what he had done for us and what he would recommend for future issues we may encounter.

Kevin was great, very polite and did not try to over sell or up sell or push any unwanted items but shared all the options I had. I had the furnace maintenance before the winter season and got on the plan for future check ups for the AC and Furnace.

5 Stars – Exceptional Service from Tim!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Tim for our air conditioning service, and we couldn’t be more satisfied. From the moment he arrived, Tim was professional, courteous, and incredibly knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the issue, explained everything in clear terms, and made sure we understood the options before moving forward.

A.B. May had initially told us we either needed to replace the coils for around $5,000 or replace our entire unit for around $15,000. Both diagnoses from them were incorrect. We’re not sure if they were trying to run up the bill on us or were just that incompetent. But Tim correctly diagnosed our problem and had it fixed in 15 minutes for a fraction of the cost we thought we were going to pay. We can’t be thankful enough that we called him.

It’s rare to find someone who combines technical skill with outstanding customer service, but Tim truly delivered on both fronts. We highly recommend him and will definitely be calling again for any future HVAC needs. Thank you, Tim, for your excellent work!

What a great experience. I called early on a weekend and had a call back within 30 minutes. Tim was out within an hour. Diagnosed and repaired the AC. Thank you. Highly recommend

Tim W was awesome. He was timely. He came in and diagnose the issue and went straight to work. He offered me other services. He was very meticulous. Be honest with you. I haven’t had customer service like this in years. While he was working, I told my wife that I definitely am locked into using this service from now on excellent service thanks, Tim.

I just had the most epic air conditioning rescue mission! First Mate H/C in Lee's Summit swooped in like a large winged superhero, with Tim arriving in under an hour. He diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and even gave my AC a spa day by washing out the gunk buildup - all without charging me extra for it! Tim wouldn't even take a tip. We've been doing business with these folks for around 25 years, and they still manage to amaze us with their top-notch service, integrity, and commitment to going that extra mile. I mean, who needs a cape when you can just have a reliable AC repair guy? And, of course, this all happened on a sweltering Sunday, while sitting in my freezer praying for snow. And, I swear I saw a bird flying by with a tiny umbrella. Talk about timing! Thank you, again Tim

I had an excellent experience from start to finish. From the very first time I reached out until the job was complete, the team was professional, friendly, and easy to work with. Everyone I came in contact with was kind, respectful, and very knowledgeable. The pricing was also very fair, which I really appreciated. Most importantly, my house is cool again! I’m very satisfied with the service and would highly recommend them.

Abby was very helpful and great to work with. I was not at home when she got there and she called me twice until she reached me and waited for me to get home. That probably put her behind but she was very accomdating. She looked up prices for me on filters and was patient as I called my husband to discuss and go over questions. She seemed knowledgable and confident and we would be delighted to see her again on our next service appt.

Kevin was super helpful when diagnosing and fixing our unit. He was quick and efficient. We appreciated that he was friendly, honest and didn’t try to oversell us on things. He was kind to our kids and dog as well and let our toddler watch him work.

Very thorough. Spent time on each component, documenting detail & handed me final list. The cost was the annual maintenance Fee for HVAC that I paid for previously.

Avian was recently here to perform emergency service on our HVAC system, the heating portion of which had been serviced the day before. He spent about an hour on that assignment, which he successfully completed. He was unfailingly polite and respectful, and we would be happy to have him back when needed.

Good company. Consistent and careful. They work until they figure out the problem and they get it fixed. Parts are pretty specialized these days. May not always have exactly what is needed on the first visit, but they stay with it till its resolved and they don’t forget you.

Outstanding appointment. Had foundation work done over the week and the A/C tech leveled the ground, relocated the unit, and kept us informed step by step. Zero issues. Greatly appreciated. Had to have my unit disconnected and reconnected a week ago part.
