We've used Monte at Standard Plumbing for over 15 years. He's our go-to plumber and we've never had any reason to doubt his workmanship, integrity, or the fairness of his pricing. A couple of years ago, I bought a high quality garbage disposal and asked him to install it. No problem because it was a high quality unit. For the reviewer who bought a fitting and asked Monte to install it, you're asking a master craftsman to be responsible for parts he didn't supply and couldn't vouch for the quality. That's unfair. Just because a craftsman is candid and truthful is no reason to run him down in a review.

Most recently, Monte installed a gas stove for us. Top quality, on time, fairly priced as usual. I'm about to call him for another job. Five stars all the way.

I was in need of a minor water pipe repair and called about 4:00 Tuesday afternoon. I had to leave a message and Monte called back just a couple minutes after 8 the following morning. After describing the issue and where I was, he fit me in with just enough time before another already scheduled call he had that day. Monte was friendly, fast and had the repair done for a reasonable amount.

What a great plumber! Always so professional and friendly. We just used Monte to install a dishwasher for us and I love it! Monte has also helped us with various plumbing issues--he's prompt and charges fair prices. I can't recommend him highly enough.

When asked to wear a mask due to 90 year old residents, Monte than asked why I did not also have a mask on in my own home? Had a leaking faucet that needed to be replaced. Purchased a faucet from Menards to have Monte install. He looked at the item and told me it was a piece of "junk" trying to up sell me a Moen faucet instead? Monte than told me when my new "piece of junk" leaks not to call him?
I will certainly not! He has serviced this home for years but he never met me before. If this is how he has been treating my family all these years it has now stopped!!!
