We had Regency build a home in Walnut Lake which we moved to in 2005. Since then we relocated in KC area and built another home. The difference in the experience is HUGE! In Omaha, the quality of construction, total involvement from initial drawings and meetings were far superior to what we experienced in KC, not to mention costs. The whole building process was extremely smooth with excellent communication thru out. I would highly recommend that any family considering building in the Omaha area give Regency a serious look. I just wish they were available in the KC area! Thanks to Denny, Bill and the whole team for an awesome experience!

Regency Homes was asked to return to our home to complete our unfinished basement. We were pleased with the finishes they provided for our home and felt that they would be able to offer similar details to match the main floor. During our initial on-site discussion, the architect was open to our requests and suggestions. They completed the entire project in less than 50 days with a minimal impact on our lives, i.e. minimal dust, noise, or inconvenience. The site foreman managed the project by seamlessly scheduling the various subcontractors, i.e. framers, drywall, painting, plumbing, flooring, etc. Nearly a year later, we have no warranty issues to address. We are 100% satisfied with the finished basement and highly recommend Regency for your residential needs.

When my wife and I decided to move to Nebraska from out of state, several factors played in to our decision. Family was one reason. The deciding factor was to find a house we loved and a builder we trusted. Regency Homes – Omaha exceeded our expectations in both areas.
We were on a visit and stopped at the show homes in Papillion. We were fortunate to meet Walter. We looked at the model and started discussing options and changes we were looking for in our dream home.
In that we still lived out of state, Walter was very accommodating to our schedule of when we would be in town at various times to plan our new home in Papillion. He provided guidance and suggestions, taking the time to ensure we planned our dream home with everything we wanted. Walter is AMAZING, and we are honored to call him a friend.
The Regency team is top-notch! The majority of the build process is done by Recency teams and not subcontracted. The quality and attention to detail is something you do not often see in this modern era. Every step was collaborative. Professionalism and quality throughout the build, and the entire process!
If you are planning to build a home, call Walter and the Regency team! If you want an existing home, call Regency as they have ready to move-in homes as well.
You WILL NOT be disappointed. Truly amazing! We feel extremely blessed to have found and worked with such an amazing, quality builder, and to now have our dream home!
Thank you, Walter, and the entire Regency team! -
Although we love our home, and feel it is well built, we had a problem with Regency not following through on warranty items.
We had cracks in our bathroom tile floor from the day we moved in. We had to pay to tear up and replace the floors which was $7000. The tile layer who did the replacement said the install was bad and the Regency Tile layer did not use enough of the glue to keep the tiles in place. Our showers also leak and that will be another huge expense. One of the showers leaks into the basement bedroom.
We also had a huge hole in our front yard the year we moved in. The sewer or water line was not watered down when they filled the hole. We were told this by Regency during a warranty visit. Our drive caved in this year and we had to have a section removed and new concrete put in. $3200. The company that did the repair said there was a hole under the drive that was a foot and a half deep. They had to fill it with rock, and then re-bar before repouring the cement.
Both of these items were not our fault as the purchaser of the home. In both cases, the contractors were shocked that Regency would not pay for something so obviously wrong during the building. I am aware that mistakes happen, but when a mistake happens, Regency should stand behind their product. I am very disappointed that Regency has not been willing to help me. -
This builder is terrible, unprofessional and their sale agents from Lincoln are worst and scams. They will take any pennies from your pocket. Good luck building home with them. All good reviews here are fake, either their employees or their families members wrote it.

Recently purchased a home from this builder they had a 45day closing period to complete a few minor repairs and landscaping. They installed the Sod today and it was dead ☠️ when I told the rep that the work was not acceptable they couldn’t give me a solution and also the work has no warranty. It’s very frustrating with buying a home over half million dollars and the yard looks horrible.

Watch Out! Our sales contract was cancelled by Regency two months into the process. They will hold you to all dates on the timeline even when they are more than 10 days late on their items - sales agent had zero respect for our time or schedule and seems to think sending you a text msg or email is a "meeting". If they perceive you to be a problem to them by asking questions they dont like, or pushing back when they are disrespectful to you they will cancel - read your contract - make sure you don't step out of line! Good Luck!
