I had a fantastic experience with A-1 United, thanks to their service technician, Rick. He was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. He showed up on time, worked efficiently, and made sure everything was working perfectly before he left. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely takes pride in their work these days—Rick absolutely does. Highly recommend A-1 United, and if you can, ask for Rick!

We have always received quality service from A-1 United and our service today was no exception. Our unit is 25 years old and required an AC service call. Our service technician was Rick who did the follow up when the unit was initially installed and he quickly diagnosed the problem. In a day when companies try to sell you service you do not need it was nice to see someone who genuinely takes pride in their work and did not tell us it was time for a new unit. I highly recommend A-1 United and Rick!

I had the pleasure of working with Kevin H from A1 United Heating/Air and Electrical, and I can't say enough great things about him and his work! Kevin did an outstanding job wiring my home, and I couldn’t be more impressed with his professionalism and skill. He arrived on time, was extremely knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything he was doing to ensure I was informed throughout the process.
Not only was the work done efficiently, but the quality was top-notch. Kevin took great care to ensure everything was safe and up to code. For almost a year now, I have been working with Chris, an installation technician with A-1 United Heating, Air & Electrical, in the Council Bluffs, IA - new construction residential homes industry. He is very helpful, honest, positive, professional, and works quickly and efficiently. Chris has an excellent work ethic and goes above and beyond what he can, to ensure everything is completed and operational- not just for me, the Superintendent /Builder, but also for the customers' and their biggest investment, their home.

Quick response to our need for a tech to come out! The person scheduling my service call and John the tech that came were both polite and efficient! Great service! Highly recommend!

Sean and Brendan installed a new heating and air conditioning system. They worked diligently and seemingly without a break. They were friendly and did an excellent job of set up and explanation of use. I almost expected some damage to landscaping in installing the AC unit, but there was none. I think they left my home cleaner than when they came.
I couldn't be happier with the quality and efficiency of the system they installed. I was most interested in a very quiet AC unit and the Lennox AC system they installed far exceeded my expectations.

Very responsive! Fixed my furnace issue quickly and did not try to sell me anything. Explained what was happening. Very pleased!

I was happy how quickly A1 was able to send Joseph out. Joseph was great at informing me as well as educating me each step of the way. He was committed to resolving our situation and coming to a resolution. Joseph communicated the costs clearly so there were no surprises and even offered to add the 2x/year services package.

I have had poor experiences with a couple other companies in town from previous services. Our family had to replace our AC and furnace, so we decided to go through Costco and it turns out to be a very good decision. I get a better system and price compared to the others. Not only that but I get Costco cash card for my purchase and excellent service from A-1 United. Grant and Jake were very professional and courteous. The installation of the furnance look very good and so much better than the previous system it replaced. They were very thorough throughout the installation and took their time to do the job correct. I highly recommend A1 United they have a complete installation process to ensure the system is installed and working correctly.

JD with A-1 was amazing and kind!! He arrived promptly on a Sunday to help us with our broken unit. My husband and I were thankful for his expertise and knowledge with working out our issue with our HVAC unit. JD talked us through why the unit was not working and how to properly clean our outside unit so it doesn’t happen again. We appreciate JD and his company for supporting their customers during a stressful time.

Rick was very customer oriented and paid attention to detail by noticing my humidifier was no longer working. He was able to fix it during the inspection of the furnace …helping me avoid an additional service fee!

I was surprised by how quickly A1 was able to send Joseph out. Our situation was difficult to diagnose, but he kept me informed each step of the way. He told me what he was doing and why he was doing it. He was committed to resolving our situation as quickly as he could to get us relief from a super hot day. Joseph communicated the costs clearly so there were no surprises. I'm grateful for his professionalism and perseverance handling a challenging problem.

Zach just performed my annual maintenance check on my furnace. Outstanding job! He’s very personable, communicates clearly, and gave a thorough explanation of everything he worked on (pictures included). Awesome service.

Rick Kocour came out to inspect my A/C unit. He was extremely professional and friendly. I highly recommend A-1 and Rick for your A/C and furnace needs.

Jarod Beyer and Josh Blanton came out to replace my electrical panel. They did quick work and a great job. They took their time to accurately verify and record all the circuits throughout my home

Norm was excellent today. He is so nice and did such a great technician. He said what was wrong and got our furnace back to working properly.

Kevin C was very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I appreciated that he made sure everything was fixed that needed to be and showing me what he found and why the part needed to be changed. Thank you Kevin C for your quick help today before winter sets in! God bless!

I got my AC and furnace replaced a few weeks ago and everything has been working perfectly! From purchasing to having been with the system for a little bit now, everything has been easy peasy. Ben made choosing my system clear and simple. Sean & Paul did a great job and kept my place pretty clean while they worked. They thoroughly walked me through the features of my new system as well, which I appreciate. ☀️ An overall great experience!

Rick was extremely knowledgeable and quick. He took into account it was the day before Thanksgiving and that I was busy preparing for my guests. He waisted no time troubleshooting and fixing the issue.

Been familiar with A 1, since I was young girl. Living in my parent's home. When I became a homeowner myself. Like my parents I trust them for all my Heating and cooling needs. You can also!

Had an excellent experience with A-1 this past weekend when our AC went out overnight. Saturday morning Benny and staff had John, the technician who did our service, to our house within an hour of our call. John got our AC up and running and installed a new thermostat in no time. Their entire staff was friendly and professional from from the start - tremendous customer service and excellent work. We'll definitely call A-1 again next time we need service!

Top notch service!!! John the technician was one of the most professional and cordial young men I’ve met in over 60 years! He is an asset to A1 United and deserves all the praise I can bestow! He signed me up for the annual service contract and gave me a discount on the repairs to my A/C! Great job by everyone involved!
