My AC unit stopped working yesterday due to the 111 degree heat. I called Mojave Air that night and said they wouldn't be able to get anyone to our house until between 2-4 today. I was pleasantly surprised when Josh, our HVAC technician texted me at 10:30 to let me know he'd be over in about 10-15 minutes. Josh was very knowledgeable as well as professional and within minutes was able to determine that the capacitor was bad and replaced it right there. Everything was fine until...
3:30 this afternoon, when the AC unit started acting the same way - tripping the circuit breaker and shutting down. Josh came back again and not only inspected our system, but also checked the breaker, which ended up being bad. (He had to come back an hour later with the part, but we agreed to give the unit an hour to do its job.) I really appreciated the fact that we were not immediately given the sales routine for a new HVAC unit. We will end up having to replace the outside, but for now, it seems to be doing its job.

Spencer was an excellent technician. When he arrived, he was wearing a mask and
put on shoe coverings. After diagnosing, he showed me what was wrong and provided several different options. While I was waiting for the unit to be fixed, the company provided (with a deposit of course) a portable a/c so I wouldn't be completely miserable. The day of install, they were on time and prompt. Each employee wore shoe coverings and masks. While working in the attic, they covered the area below the attic opening. When they were done, they cleaned up and showed me how to operate my new unit.

I recommend Mojave Air Conditioning for all HVAC needs and desires. They demonstrate professional and friendly attitudes, an empathetic sense of urgency, and knowledgeable technicians. Mojave has serviced my home several times, and each service call was consistently pleasant and effective. They also are in network with ORHP (home warranty), as well as some others that I am not familiar with.

With short notice, Joshua came out next day to evaluate my units. He was very informative and helpful. Mojave is very professional and I highly recommend them. Will update review after my install next week.

Phenomenal service! Wish I could give them six stars! Of course it’s summer when our air conditioner goes out. We expected a long delay to get it fixed but Mojave Air were wonderful on the phone and they were at our home and had it fixed within two hours.

I was very impressed with this company. I was called and given a two hour window for when someone would show up. The best part was that the tech called me to tell me he would be there in about twenty minutes and he was there twenty minutes later. It did not take him long to discover what was wrong with the heater and he had the replacement part on his truck. I would highly recommend this company!

Absolutely wonderful!!! Very, very thorough, can not say enough about how great the Service Tech was! Extremely polite and courteous!! Scheduler was also exceptional. Price was fantastic, only sorry that I didn't have my vents cleaned sooner!

Mojave Air was there when I needed them, it was on a weekend too. Yes, I’d recommend them. Did a complete install for me and their entire team were fast, knowledgeable and friendly. Five Stars and thank you very much Mojave Air. I’ve been in Las Vegas for 23 years, these guys are good.

I’ve used Mojave Air Conditioning for several years. My very old central air conditioning and furnace units were simultaneously replaced by Mojave Air Conditioning 2 or 3 years ago. The service technicians have always been great with all they’ve done for me.

Today, AJ did the annual check-up on both units. (Normally, I would have a check-up in the Spring for the air conditioning unit outside and in the Fall for the furnace.) AJ called me to let me know he was on his way. This was my first time meeting AJ and I found him to be very courteous, patient, and he answered all my questions (so, yes, knowledgeable, too). I was very happy with AJ’s service.

AJ was kind enough to let me know that an air scrubber could be installed as I told him I have asthma/allergies — it cleans the air entering your home and might save a bit of wear and tear on your heating and cooling system. I always like it when people educate me about things that may be helpful. AJ was also able to provide me with printed material on the air scrubber that I could review at my leisure. Having looked at the material, the air scrubber is a good fit for me, maybe next year I can get it installed.

As an aside, I have noticed that Mojave Air Conditioning employees try to keep a clean and presentable appearance. It is not easy as the work requires them to work inside and outside of homes.

My wife and I just bought a house in Henderson and the ac unit failed within a month after escrow closed! Our home warranty company One Guard quickly approved the repair and linked us to Mojave Air to do the work. It was just suffocating trying to work in the house with +115 degree temperatures!

The replacement compressor came in and our plea for help was quickly acted upon by Mojave Air office staff (Melissa, Amy, and Rosa) and then next morning repair work by Josh and Cecil. The two gentlemen worked quickly to make the repairs for 3 hours and explained in detail what was being done and how we can keep the rebuilt ac unit running well.

Besides their outstanding work, professionalism, honesty, friendly attitude, and genuine caring for our ac crisis, we got a very fair price for additional work we believe will forestall any more breakdowns in the ac unit.

We are delighted with the work completed by Mohave Air and would call them for any related heating and cooling work in the future.

Omar came out to inspect our broken AC unit. He arrived quickly after my call to the office, and he was friendly, and very professional. Also took a bunch of time afterward, to look up various options for the repair.

Will definitely use this company again, thanks to Omar and the polite and helpful receptionist. (Melissa I believe her name was)

Called Mojave Air for my air conditioner not running properly. First time used this company. Cecil was my technician and I learned alot from this first time visit. Not only was he knowledgeable , he was also professional. He took the time to open all my vents in my home to get more air by going on a ladder in each room and using a needle nose plyers to pull back on the vent slots. Wow, what a difference that made. All the years I have been with other companies, no one took the time to explain this or help out in any extra way like Cecil. Kudos to Cecil at Mojave air Conditioning. I will be using this company from now on.

I'm adding on additional info to this review. Unfortunately my AC of 13 years could not be repaired any more without costing a ridiculous amount of money. Mojave Air Conditioning installed a new AC unit yesterday. Spencer and Humberto were my installers. They worked for 8 hours straight on installation which included reconfiguring the duck work in the attic for a properly running air flow return. This company did not try to sell me anything extra, they only cared about doing the job correctly. Thank you Mojave Air Conditioning Crew.

Thanks you to Cecil from Mojave air conditioning, our air conditioner is working!!! Our air conditioner was broken for the past 3 days in this hot hot weather. We had another company come out to assess the problem but said they weren’t able to repair the part due to where the unit was located in our attic. But Cecil got the job done for us!!! We are a happy family now with our ac working! Mahalo Cecil!!

We called Mojave and they came the same day. It was 97 degrees in my house. Cecil diagnosed the issue and resolved it quickly. He also took the time to teach my son about how the important filter changes are. The house feels better already. Thank you mojave!!

We are so impressed with the quality of the work performed by Peter. We had a terrible dust problem that was solved by Mojave Air conditioning. We very much appreciate the care they took to explain the process and the results are amazing! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing thorough duct cleaning.

In mid January, one of our heat pump systems was constantly starting and stopping, providing very little heat. We contacted our Home Warranty company, who sent out serious bottom-feeding A/C companies in a month long fight to get the system working. After numerous mis-diagnosis and demands that we pay for services NOT covered by the home warranty and partial "repairs" that resulted in safety sensors being bypassed, we contacted Mojave Air Conditioning. Matt came out and offered some sage advice on where our problems might actually be. Donnie managed to spot the main problem - a blower motor running backwards. Changing the start capacitor fixed everything, saving us the expense of (as recommended by the other guys) flushing the system (~$1000), replacing the condenser unit (~$2000) or replacing the entire unit (~$8000) - for under $200!
It's an old unit, which really will need to be replaced before long. Mojave A/C will be getting that business!

1 day before an "Open House" my ac stops blowing cold air downstairs. called Mojave Air and they were there in 2 hours. After inspecting the system is found to be in good working order i just needed to change out my filters. Thanks to Omar for the prompt and honest service. I will definitely be calling Mojave Air should any other AC problems arise

These guys are awesome; this is the third time we have used them in 2 years. Each time saving us a ton of money (other companies wanted to just replace the unit, Mojave Air Conditioning was able to repair the unit, thus stretching out the life of this geriatric machine). My husband and I bought a home built in 1962, with a 29-year-old AC unit on the roof. Last night, our unit shut off and we worried. My husband called Mojave AC, and they were out in two hours. Josh was able to diagnosis the problem, even though the unit was discontinued a while ago, something that other companies were unable to do. Fused corrected, and cool air was back on. We know that we will have to get a new unit soon, however it was nice not to pay today.

So glad I found this company!...I called Mojave Air Conditioning during the hottest week of the year with record breaking heat temps, after my copper coils rusted out and began leaking. Mojave came out the very next day to diagnose my unit. The service technician, Rube was very professional, arrived on time, and was able to offer me affordable pricing without compromising quality of service. I appreciate that they didn't try "upselling" or pushing additional services on me, which put me at ease. They simply addressed the underlying issues and provided affordable options for my family. I appreciate their down-home approach to business, while making customer service their focus. Thank you Mojave for all you do for Las Vegans!!

Mojave's technicians just finished installing the new copper coil. Keith and Humberto did a great job getting my AC unit up and running again! I have cool air in the house again and my son and I have relief from the heat, yay!! I'm glad to have found such a reliable company to call on in the future.....Thanks again!

In need of getting my heating system fixed- Mojave Air Conditioning came to my rescue. Learning I was without heat - they quickly sent out a very nice and knowledgeable young man by the name of Spencer. I could not have asked for a better technician - he was very kind and concerned about getting my heat up and running. Went above and beyond to help me with my filter and thermostat. Just feel very fortunate to have had Spencer to help me. Congratulations to Mojave for having Spencer on their staff so I could have him take such good care of my heating trouble. Sometimes I feel we are so quick to criticize - feel we should be just as quick to say job well done !!! You cannot go wrong having Mojave take care of your heating and air conditioning needs.
