I have been doing business with American Generations Plumbing and Heating now for close to 10 years. They have completely replaced an old furnace with a brand new model and most recently replaced my kitchen and two bathroom faucets. I highly recommend this company. Reliable (on time), friendly, reasonably priced and professional. Jim always answers his phone. Great team.

I have been lucky enough to be a customer of American Plumbing and Heating for close to 20 years. I absolutely love them! They are the very best team for your plumbing, heating and cooling needs. Whenever I am in need of their services, they are quick to respond, extremely efficient, cost effective and fair. Most importantly they truly care about your needs. They are not just a company only concerned about making money, but more like a family member who knows that you need water, heat or cooling in order to live in your home and they go out of their way to help you!

Great company they installed a new water heater for us today the day before Thanksgiving of all times. The technicians were extremely proffesional and had our water heater installed in no time. We are so grateful.

They were professional, friendly, and clearly cared about getting the job done right. It’s rare to see that kind of dedication these days. I was having faults on my boiler leading to no hot water, and Jim was able to get on the phone with me right away and walk me through the troubleshooting process. I didn’t even have to pay for a technician to visit, and Jim was extremely helpful and clear in his explanations. I had my hot water back within 30 minutes. Amazing!

Great, prompt service and communication. The technician even came out on a Saturday to install my new faucet and explained and demonstrated all the features. Will definitely recommend to others.

Absolutely the worst plumbing experience I have ever had. American Plumbing and Heating (sent by American Home Shield) caused thousands of dollars in damage to my home:

Put a hole in my tub during initial cleaning, scratched it with tools, and then burst a brass pipe while trying to fix a clog.

Installed a makeshift patch, hammered excessively, and admitted to cutting extra material unnecessarily — now my tub squeaks every time it’s used.

Improperly installed an outdoor faucet that leaked into my basement, flooding near my main circuit box.

Cut into a wall that their own manager admitted was not necessary.

Replaced my toilet seat with the cheapest, ill-fitting model without asking me.

Refused to provide insurance information despite repeated requests.

Cheap parts, careless work, and zero accountability. If you value your home, do not let these people anywhere near it.
