Carrier Electric - and in particular Steve Lareau - is the best electrical contractor I’ve ever worked with. His team has completed complicated new build, renovation, and remodel electrical issues for us at two properties and they always find the most efficient and effective way to achieve success. Their work is always neatly ticked-and-tied and they treat your home as if it was theirs. I rarely take the time to write reviews- this might be my third google review in my life- which is a sign for how strongly I recommend the services of Steve and Carrier electric. There’s simply no one better!

I have been working with carrier electric for over 10 years. They have managed all of the electrical work for several of my businesses and my personal home and Cottage. What I really like is the convenience that they bring to a project, the professionalism and the quality work that they perform each and every time. Whether it is a small project as putting outlets in the basement of my new home or rewiring an entire panel for my restaurant, they can do it all. I would recommend them any day.

Just absolutely wonderful team to work with. Just phenomenal work ethics and you don’t have to tell them three times what to do if they get it done the first time.

My father recently passed away at 52 years old and we had a bunch of emergency things that needed to be done. We are retired military! I cannot overemphasize just how fast he came literally two days later he showed up and everything was fixed and taken care of in such a professional manner that I will never ever use our electricians we used to use! I will only use carrier electric moving forward! Just absolutely wonderful People to work with!

The work was extremely professional, and for the amount I paid. I paid a lot less than I would’ve paid our previous gentleman who was Cutting corners everywhere!

Carrier Electric did a fantastic job wiring up our new cabin. Steve and Tyler were very accommodating with our changing ideas, on schedule, and paid attention to detail. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality electrician.

Called Carrier to have a whole home standby generator put in. Steve came onsite quickly and gave me a very reasonable quote including trenching. It was much more reasonably priced than a very expensive quote I got from a larger contracting company.

Steve's team made extremely quick work of the job, including trenching to the house. I was super impressed with the quality and speed of the job. They basically knocked it out in 1-2 days, aside from the gas line.

They needed to bring in a subcontractor for the connection between the generator and propane tank, and that unfortunately delayed the project about 2½ weeks. I understand that that is largely out of Carrier's control, though.

My only constructive feedback is I would have appreciated proactive communications from Carrier after each visit from the subcontractor to let me know what the status was. Several days would go by after each visit from the sub and I had to send a followup to ask the status. It's a small thing but it's much appreciated when the contractor is on top of that, especially with New England weather and not knowing if a storm will roll in and knock out power for our house, so I was antsy to get the generator up and running. Steve was very quick to respond to my followups though, which was great.

Both Steve and the sub came out and finished up the job in the middle of our first major snowstorm, and there was some faulty regulators they had to deal with, but they persevered through the storm. So big kudos for that final effort! Very happy with the result, and I really appreciate them squeezing me in before the winter, as I made the inquiry in late October.

BTW the pics show a wooden shelter for the generator. That was not done by Carrier.
